We introduce a family of matrices that define logics in which paraconsistency and/or paracompleteness occurs only at the level of literals, that is, formulas that are propositional letters or their iterated negations. We give a sound and complete axiomatization for the logic defined by the class of all these matrices, we give conditions for the maximality of these logics and we study in detail several relevant examples. The rates of piperidino substitution of some 2-L-3-nitrothiophenes (I) and 2-L-5-nitrothiophenes (II) (L = Cl, Br, I, OC6H4NO2-p, and SO2Ph) have been measured in methanol and in benzene at various piperidine concentrations. The reactivity of compounds (I) is not affected by the piperidine concentration in both methanol and benzene, except for the case of L = I (Ic). Probably due to association effects, the reactivity of Ic in benzene decreases as the piperidine concentration is increased. The reactions of compounds II follow overall second order kinetics in methanol while in benzene a different behaviour is observed as a function of the nature of the leaving group. In fact, the piperidino substitutions of IIa-c (L = Cl, Br, I) are mildly accelerated at high piperidine concentrations (a moderate solvent effect); on the contrary the reactivity of IId and e shows a strong dependence on the piperidine concentration, pointing out a genuine base catalysis.  相似文献

We have studied the reduction of SeIV in acidic medium (1 M HCl and 1 M HClO4) by classical and alternating current polarography and single sweep linear voltammetry with dropping mercury electrode and hanging mercury drop (HMDE). Two steps are observed distinctly: (1) The reduction of SeIV→Seo leads to a deposit of adsorbed elementary selenium. A mathematical expression is shown for the variation of current which is related to the surface covered at the HMDE. (2) The second step is the reduction of Seo→Se2? which takes place at more negative potentials. The accumulation of Seo may be used for the determination of traces in trace analysis by cathodic stripping. It appears that the behavior of selenium in these two mineral acids is similar. But sometimes it behaves in a different manner, especially in a.c. polarography (in this connection the influence of frequency and demodulation angle are important).  相似文献

Abstract

Organic compounds extractable with n-hexane were identified and quantitatively determined in pack, surface and deep snow samples taken at different depths and collected at several altitudes above sea level from Antarctica during the 1993/94 Italian expedition. The comparison between the composition of organic compounds in snow and the ones in pack and sea-water samples pointed out that the three matrices substantially contain the same biogenic and anthropogenic organic compounds. The contribution of marine aerosol to organic content in the snow is confirmed by the enrichment ratios calculated for the more representative classes of identified compounds (n-alkanes, phthalates and low molecular weight alkylbenzenes). The changes in the composition of organic compounds in snow as the altitude increases seem to depend on the dimensional spectrum of the aerosol. Thus, smallest particles, richest in surfactant material, reach the highest altitudes.  相似文献

In this work, 102 fragments of Marajoara ceramics, belonging to the National Museum collection (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), were analyzed using energy dispersive X‐ray fluorescence (EDXRF) and principal component analysis (PCA) in order to identify possible groups of samples that present similar behaviors or different characteristics. This information will give an important aid to a more accurate classification of these artifacts. The EDXRF measurements were carried out with a portable system developed in the Nuclear Instrumentation Laboratory consisting of an Oxford TF3005 X‐ray tube, with W anode, and an Si‐PIN XR‐100CR detector from Amptek, working at 25 kV and 100 µA, acquisition time of 600 s and a beam collimation of 2 mm. PCA applied to the X‐ray fluorescence results revealed a clear cluster separation to the samples. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The radiative neutron capture on lithium-7 is calculated model independently using a low-energy halo effective field theory. The cross section is expressed in terms of scattering parameters directly related to the S-matrix elements. It depends on the poorly known p-wave effective range parameter r(1). This constitutes the largest uncertainty in traditional model calculations. It is explicitly demonstrated by comparing with potential model calculations. A single parameter fit describes the low-energy data extremely well and yields r(1)≈-1.47 fm(-1).  相似文献

 In this paper, we present a nonlinear programming algorithm for solving semidefinite programs (SDPs) in standard form. The algorithm's distinguishing feature is a change of variables that replaces the symmetric, positive semidefinite variable X of the SDP with a rectangular variable R according to the factorization X=RR T . The rank of the factorization, i.e., the number of columns of R, is chosen minimally so as to enhance computational speed while maintaining equivalence with the SDP. Fundamental results concerning the convergence of the algorithm are derived, and encouraging computational results on some large-scale test problems are also presented. Finite element acoustic simulation based shape optimization of a muffler   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper describes a methodology which combines finite element analysis and Zoutendijk’s feasible directions method for mufflers shape design. The main goal is to obtain the dimensions of the acoustic muffler with the transmission loss (TL), being maximized in the frequency range of interest. The improved four parameters method is used for TL evaluations and the Helmholtz’s equation is solved numerically with the finite element method (FEM). The quadratic triangular finite element meshes are adequately constructed to control the pollution error and the optimization problem is solved using the Zoutendijk’s feasible directions method due to robustness and efficiency for problems with nonlinear constraints. Numeric experiments performed with circular expansion chambers with extended inlet and outlet show results for constrained and unconstrained shape optimization.  相似文献
