The opinion is that all thermoplastics are infinitely recyclable, while crosslinked polyurethanes (PUR) and thermosets are not recyclable. The present paper uses comparative data to show that the waste management problem associated with crosslinked PUR materials has been largely overcome on a pilot-plant scale. Direct and indirect material recycling as well as thermal recycling are discussed. A direct recycling method in which granulated PUR-RIM scrap is made to “flow” under heat and pressure to re-mould it, is quoted as evidence that crosslinked polyurethane elastomers can be reclaimed and reused in a similar manner to thermoplastics. This process is called “compression molding”. Recycling methods for thermoplastics under consideration from an early stage, as well as entirely new possibilities that are emerging, are demonstrated, using polycarbonate Makrolon® as an example.  相似文献

Dalbergia cochinchinensis has been widely used in traditional medicine because of its flavonoids; however, the impact of the flavonoids to modulate the inflammatory response to oral cells remains to be described. For this aim, we isolated 4,7,2′-trihydroxy-4′-methoxyisoflavanol (472T4MIF) and 6,4′-dihydroxy-7-methoxyflavane (64D7MF) from the heartwood of D. cochinchinensis and confirmed the chemical structure by nuclear magnetic resonance. We show here that both flavonoids are inhibitors of an inflammatory response of murine RAW 264.7 inflammatory macrophages stimulated by LPS. This is indicated by interleukin (IL)1, IL6, and chemokine CCL2 production besides the phosphorylation of p65. Consistently, in primary murine macrophages, both flavonoids decreased the inflammatory response by lowering LPS-induced IL1 and IL6 expression. To introduce oral cells, we have used human gingival fibroblasts and provoked the inflammatory response by exposing them to IL1β and TNFα. Under these conditions, 472T4MIF, but not 64D7MF, reduced the expression of chemokines CXCL1 and CXCL2. Taken together, we identified two flavonoids that can reduce the expression of cytokines and chemokines in macrophages and fibroblastic cells.  相似文献

I review recent progress in ultrarelativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions, and the connection of this field to modern QCD theory of deconfinement and/or chiral symmetry restoration. The talks at this Conference have shown a convergence of data and theory as far as the CERN SPS investigations at √s = 17 GeV are concerned; the parton-hadron phase boundary seems now located atT = 170 ± 10 MeV. New data from RHIC and direct photon production results from CERN have been shown that point out the field’s future direction: analysis of partonic matter atT > 200 MeV. Astrophysics analysis was shown to be linked crucially to further theoretical progress with non-perturbative QCD.  相似文献

Abstract

An Equipement has been built for the generation of uniaxial pressure and of bending stress respectivety directly in the cavity of an X-band ESR spectrometer. Changes of the structure of paramagnetic centres (Fe3+ on Al3+ sites) could be detected in materials with a high content of corundum under the innuence of pressure and bending stress. The objects of investigation are not only suitable model system but also have practical relevance. The Fe3+-ions, incorporated in the materials react very sensitive on mechanically or thermally induced changes of the state of the matrix. They give insight into the materials at a microscopic level The interpretation of the observed intensity and shift effects is possible on the basis of an adequate spin-hamiltonian.  相似文献

The interatomic electronic decay after inner-valence ionization of a neon atom by a single photon in a neon-helium dimer is investigated. The excited neon atom relaxes via interatomic Coulombic decay and the excess energy is transferred to the helium atom and ionizes it. We show that the decay process is only possible if the dimer's bond stretches up to 6.2 ?, i.e., to more than twice the equilibrium interatomic distance of the neutral dimer. Thus, it is demonstrated that the electronic decay, taking place at such long distances, is driven by the nuclear motion.  相似文献

Synthesis, Structure, and some Reactions of N-(N′,N′,N″,N″-tetramethyl)guanidinyl-substituted Phosphoryl Compounds The tetramethylguanidinyl-substituted phosphoryl compounds 1 – 10 were prepared in the reaction of the appropriate chlorophosphoryl compounds with either N′,N′,N″,N″-tetramethylguanidine (HTMG) or N-trimethylsilyl-(N′,N′,N″,N″-tetramethyl)guanidine (TMSTMG). With methyl iodide 1 reacted with N-alkylation to give the ammonium salt 11. 1 reacted with BF3 · Et2O at both imino nitrogen atoms with formation of the bis-BF3-adduct 12 . The X-ray structure determination of phenylphosphonic acid-bis(N′,N′,N″,N″-tetramethylguanidinide) 3 shows shortened PN-bonds and widened PNC-angles, consistent with the partial double bond character of the PN-bond.  相似文献
