Multi-anvil and laser-heated diamond anvil methods have been used to subject Ge and Si mixtures to pressures and temperatures of between 12 and 17 GPa and 1500–1800 K, respectively. Synchrotron angle dispersive X-ray diffraction, precession electron diffraction and chemical analysis using electron microscopy, reveal recovery at ambient pressure of hexagonal Ge−Si solid solutions (P63/mmc). Taken together, the multi-anvil and diamond anvil results reveal that hexagonal solid solutions can be prepared for all Ge−Si compositions. This hexagonal class of solid solutions constitutes a significant expansion of the bulk Ge−Si solid solution family, and is of interest for optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

Pluronic F‐127 hydrogels are highly efficient microenvironments for photochemical reactions, as demonstrated for singlet oxygen reactions of monoalkenes. Nonpolar substrates are localized in the nanosized polymer compartment, which can be visualized by neutron scattering. The efficiency of 1O2 reactions is strongly increased for tiglate derivatives and the regioselectivity of the ene reaction of trisubstituted alkenes is completely switched in comparison with solution phase and inverted in comparison with intrazeolite photo‐oxygenations.  相似文献

Abstract

The development of an indirect competitive enzyme immunoassay for the sulfonylurea herbicide metsulfuron-methyl (MSM) is described. In contrast to traditional antibody generation in mammals, this extremely sensitive method is based on chicken egg yolk antibodies (IgY). They were raised in laying hens using an MSM-derivative-BSA hapten as immunogen. With a 1:10000 dilution of the antibody solution and a coating antigen (MSM-derivative-KLH) concentration of 10 μg L?1 the IC50 value achieved for the target analyte was 0.4 μg L?1. The least detectable dose was established at 13 ng L?1. Cross-reactivity was tested with 5 structurally related compounds, where only sulfometuron showed a significant binding. The ELISA was tested with spiked tap and surface water samples. This paper, for the first time, demonstrates the production of high-affinity IgY antibodies for a herbicide compound.  相似文献

Sugammadex, a new modified gamma cyclodextrin, reverses the neuromuscular blockage induced by rocuronium by forming a strong complex with this muscle relaxant. To evaluate possible interactions with potentially co-administered drugs, interactions between sugammadex and penicillins were investigated using the affinity capillary electrophoresis method for the first time. Capillary electrophoresis coupled to an ultra violet detector was used as an analytical device for the analysis and detection of cyclodextrin inclusion complexes. Changes in the effective mobility of guest drugs (amoxicillin, ampicillin, oxacillin, dicloxacillin and azlocillin) were correlated with the increasing concentration of host molecules in background electrolyte, and successfully fitted into a non-linear curve equation; assuming 1:1 stoichiometric interaction. The calculated association constants (K a) were: 383.44, 184.54, 265.34 and 95.06 M−1 for amoxicillin, ampicillin, oxacillin and dicloxacillin, respectively. No complex formation with sugammadex could be detected for both penicillin G and piperacillin. The difference in the chemical structure of the penicillins, especially in the (R) side chains, is suggested to be responsible for the variety of binding strength between penicillins and sugammadex. The displacement study demonstrated that interactions between sugammadex and co-administered penicillins could reduce the pharmacological effects of both.

Abstract

Solids like layer silicates (kaolinite and montmorillonite) as well as ZnO are in use in pharmacy. They are pressure treated and subsequently analyzed by means of ESR spectroscopy. The structural changes indicated by Fe3+ ions and paramagnetic defects are reponsible for the enhanced chemical activity of the pressurized systems.

Especially active Fe-O-species are formed which can react with intercacalated organic molecules. The most probable first step of such reactions will be a solid state single electron transfer. Spin probes and spin traps were used to prove this statements. The activation of the drug delivery systems by mechanical treatments is of importance for the stability of the drugs incorporated.  相似文献
