The heteroleptic lithium amide, [(Me3Sn)(Me3Ge)NLi.(Et2O)]2 (2), reacts with MCl(2) (M = Sn, Ge, Pb) to yield the corresponding cubane complexes [M(mu3-NGeMe3)]4 [M = Sn (3), Ge (4), Pb (5)]. In an analogous reaction with SnCl2, the lithium stannylamide, [(Me3Sn)2NLi.(Et2O)]2 (1), produces the mixed-valent Sn congener [Sn(mu3-NSnMe3)]4 (6). All imidocubanes contain both di- and tetravalent group 14 metals that are bridged by N. These structures are comprised of M4N4 (M = Sn, Pb, Ge) cores that possess varying distortion from perfect cube geometry. Members of a series of carbon-poor sulfur-nitrogen heterocycles and polycycles are shown by direct ab initio ipsocentric calculation to support diatropic ring currents and hence to be aromatic on the basis of magnetic criteria. They include 7-cycles S(3)N(2)(CH)(2), S(3)N(3)(CH), and S(3)N(4) and 8-cycles S(2)N(4)(CH)(2) and S(2)N(2)(CH)(4), all with 10 pi electrons. The unknown trithiatetrazepine S(3)N(4) is predicted to be at least as aromatic as its known diaza and triaza homologues. Angular-momentum arguments show that the pi-electron-rich nature of (4n + 2) SN heterocycles is the key to their diatropic current. The Woodward dithiatetrazocine parent framework S(2)N(4)(CH)(2) supports a diatropic ring current, as does its analogue in which N and CH groups are formally exchanged. Formal expansion of (4n + 2)-pi carbocyclic systems by insertion of NSN motifs in every CC bond is predicted to lead to structures that support diatropic ring currents: explicit ab initio calculation of magnetic response predicts the 24-center, 30-pi-electron heterocycle S(6)N(12)(CH)(6), formally derived from benzene, to be aromatic on the basis of this criterion. 相似文献

Density functional theory calculations of alkyl-carboxylate anions and their sulfur substituted variants are presented here as an aid for the development of new ionic liquids. Electron transfer both within the anion, and between the anion and cation of an ion pair, are described using natural bond order analysis, using tetraethylammonium as a common cation. The overall stabilising effect of this electron transfer is quantified for the series of anions, and is found to correlate with clear trends in ion-pair binding energy. These and other electronic properties determine which compounds are synthesised, and experimental results validate the computational results. In combination with tetraethylammonium, a carboxylate with an unsaturated alkyl chain produces an ionic liquid at room temperature. However, computations suggest that sulfur substituted anions will produce a lower melting point and perhaps more fluid ionic liquid, but one which would be less stable against oxidation. 相似文献

The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics was studied by differential scanning calorimetric analysis on nylon 66 and e-beam irradiated nylon 66 at different cooling rates. The Modified Avrami equation, the Ozawa equation and the Combined Avrami-Ozawa equation were applied to study the kinetics of non-isothermal crystallization of nylon 66. The crystallization behavior of pristine nylon 66 polymer was compared with that of e-beam irradiated nylon 66 and observed that the kinetics of non-isothermal crystallization of nylon66 was affected largely upon e-beam irradiation. E-beam irradiation not only decreased the crystallization temperature of nylon 66, but influenced the mechanism of nucleation and crystal growth and reduced the overall crystallization rate of nylon 66 also. The crystallization activation energy calculated by the Kissinger method for irradiated nylon 66 was lower than that of pristine nylon 66. 相似文献

Adsorption of amino acids on Cu(100) is known experimentally to induce surface reconstructions featuring intrinsically chiral Cu(3,1,17) facets, but no information about the geometry of the molecules on these chiral facets is available. We present density-functional theory calculations for the structure of glycine and alanine at moderate coverages on Cu(3,1,17). As might be expected, molecules prefer to bind at the step edges on this surface rather than on the surface's (100)-oriented terraces. The adsorption of enantiopure alanine on Cu(3,1,17) is predicted to be weakly enantiospecific, with S-alanine being more stable on Cu(3,1,17)(S) than R-alanine. By comparing the surface energies of Cu(100) and Cu(3,1,17) in the presence of adsorbed glycine or alanine, our calculations provide insight into the driving force for chiral reconstructions of Cu(100) by amino acids. 相似文献

Inducing necroptosis in cancer cells is an effective approach to circumvent drug‐resistance. Metal‐based triggers have, however, rarely been reported. Ruthenium(II) complexes containing 1,1‐(pyrazin‐2‐yl)pyreno[4,5‐e][1,2,4]triazine were developed with a series of different ancillary ligands ( Ru1 ‐ 7 ). The combination of the main ligand with bipyridyl and phenylpyridyl ligands endows Ru7 with superior nucleus‐targeting properties. As a rare dual catalytic inhibitor, Ru7 effectively inhibits the endogenous activities of topoisomerase (topo) I and II and kills cancer cells by necroptosis. The cell signaling pathway from topo inhibition to necroptosis was elucidated. Furthermore, Ru7 displays significant antitumor activity against drug‐resistant cancer cells in vivo. To the best of our knowledge, Ru7 is the first Ru‐based necroptosis‐inducing chemotherapeutic agent. 相似文献
