Nanocomposites of waterborne polyurethane (WPU) reinforced with functionalized graphene sheets (FGSs) were effectively prepared by casting from a colloidal dispersion of FGS and WPU, and the morphology and physical properties were examined. The finer aqueous FGS dispersions or WPU with smaller particles yielded nanocomposites with enhanced electrical conductivity and thermal resistance due to finely dispersed FGS. The FGS nucleated the crystallization of the polycaprolactone (PCL) segments in WPU and improved its modulus. However, FGS inhibited crystal growth and deteriorated the tensile properties at high deformation, i.e., tensile strength and elongation at break, because the interaction between FGS and WPU hindered the chain rearrangement of WPU in the nanocomposite.  相似文献

The Measurement of K β K /α intensity ratios are measured in some 3d shell elements by using a 2 MeV proton beam along with a high resolution Si(Li) detector. The present Measurement of K β K /α intensity ratios are in good agreement with Scofield modified theoretical values, thus supporting the basic assumptions in that theory. From the present Measurement of K β K /α intensity ratios, it is evident that due to chemical effects, the experimental Measurement of K β K /α intensity ratios will be increased while they will be decreased due to the presence of simultaneous M-shell vacancies which are produced due to proton excitation.  相似文献

This paper presents results of studies on dc electrical conductivity and transference number measurements on potassium bromate (KBrO3) complexed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films prepared by solution cast technique. Temperature dependence of dc electrical conductivity and transference number data indicated the dominance of ion type charge transport in these specimens. The magnitude of conductivity increased with increase in concentration of the salt and temperature. Using this (PVC + KBrO3) electrolyte, solid-state electrochemical cells were fabricated, and their discharge profiles were studied under a constant load of 100 kΩ. Several cell profiles such as open circuit voltage, short circuit current, power density, and energy density associated with these cells were evaluated and were reported. The features of complexation of the electrolytes were studied by X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Nanoparticles of Zn1−xCrxS (x=0.00, 0.005, 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03) were prepared by a chemical co-precipitation reaction from homogenous solutions of zinc and chromium salts. These nanoparticles were sterically stabilized using 2-mercaptoethanol. Here a study of the effect of Cr doping on structural, morphological and optical properties of nanoparticles was undertaken. Elemental analysis, morphological, structural and optical properties have been investigated by energy dispersive analysis of X-rays (EDAX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and UV-visible spectroscopy .EDAX measurements confirmed the presence of Cr in the ZnS lattice. XRD showed that ZnS:Cr nanoparticles crystallized in zincblende structure with preferential orientation along (1 1 1) plane. The average sizes of the nanoparticles lay in the range of 3-6 nm and lattice parameters were in the range of 5.2-5.4 Å. Lattice contraction was observed with an increase of Cr concentration. The particle size and lattice parameters obtained from TEM and SAED images were in agreement with the XRD results. The absorption edge shifted to lower wavelengths with an increase in Cr concentration as per UV-Vis spectroscopy. The band gap energy values were in the range of 3.85-4.05 eV. This blueshift is attributed to the quantum confinement effect.  相似文献

The effect of Li2O content in vanadyl doped 20ZnO+xLi2O+(30−x)Na2O+50B2O3 (5≤x≥25) glasses has been studied with respect to their physical and structural properties. The absence of sharp peaks in XRD spectra of these glass samples confirms the amorphous nature. The physical parameters like density, refractive index, ionic concentration and electronic polarizability vary non-linearly with x mol% depending on the diffusivities of alkali ions. EPR and optical absorption spectra reveal that the resonance signals are characteristics of VO2+ ions in tetragonally compressed octahedral site. Spin-Hamiltonian, crystal field, tetragonal field and bonding parameters are found to be in good agreement with the other reported glass systems. The tetragonal distortion (g-g) and Dt reveals that their values vary non-linearly with Li2O content and reaches a minimum at x=10 mol%. An anomaly of character has been observed in all the properties of vanadyl doped glass systems, which gives a clear indication of mixed alkali effect.  相似文献

Mass transport due to electromigration can be estimated if the diffusion coefficientD and the electromigration effective charge numberZ* are known. Neutron activated tracer scanning method determine the radioactivity at different positions. An automatic scanning system for determining the radioactive concentration profiles developed using a microprocessor is described in this paper. Using the radioactive concentration profiles the electromigration shift is determined. From this shift the electromigration effective charge numberZ* is calculated. Polyaniline-modified tin oxide and tin oxide nanoparticles were synthesized using a solution route technique. The obtained pristine products were characterized with X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, and optical absorption spectroscopy. Thermogravimetric analysis results showed that the polyaniline-modified SnO2 nanoparticles exhibit higher thermal stability than the SnO2 nanoparticles. Scanning electron microscopy analysis on the as-synthesized powders showed spherical particle in the range of 50–100 nm.  相似文献
