In this paper we investigate two new classes of torsion-free Abelian groups which arise in a natural way from the notion of a torsion-free Crawley group. A group G is said to be an Erd?s group if for any pair of isomorphic pure subgroups H,K with G/H ? G/K, there is an automorphism of G mapping H onto K; it is said to be a weak Crawley group if for any pair H,K of isomorphic dense maximal pure subgroups, there is an automorphism mapping H onto K. We show that these classes are extensive and pay attention to the relationship of the Baer-Specker group to these classes. In particular, we show that the class of Crawley groups is strictly contained in the class of weak Crawley groups and that the class of Erd?s groups is strictly contained in the class of weak Crawley groups. 相似文献

A magnetic metal‐organic framework (MOF) nanocomposite was successfully prepared by a new and green strategy through reasonable design. Magnetic MOF of Fe3O4‐NHSO3H@HKUST‐1 nanocomposite use for removal of lead ions as an environmental pollutant. The experimental results indicated that the nano adsorbent of Fe3O4‐NHSO3H@HKUST‐1 can removed lead ions under optimum operational conditions. The dosage of the nanocomposite, pH of the sample solution, and contact time were obtained to be 10 mg, 7.0, and 90 min, respectively, while the initial concentration of Pb(II) ions of 400 mg/L was used. A kinetic study indicated that a pseudo‐second‐order model agreed well with the experimental data. The isotherm experiments revealed that the Langmuir model attained better fits to the equilibrium data than the Freundlich model. The maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent for the removal of lead under the optimum operational conditions of pH 7.0 and temperature 25°C was found to be 384.6 mg/g. The thermodynamic parameters indicate that the adsorption of lead is spontaneous and endothermic. The magnetic MOF nanocomposite could be recovered easily and reused many times without significant loss of its nano‐adsorbent activity. Synthesis of a novel tetracationic acidic organic salt based on DABCO containing two sulfonic acid groups in the skeleton and four hydrogensulfate groups as counterion is described. Its catalytic efficiency in the Knoevenagel condensation of aldehydes with active cyclic methylene compounds in water is investigated. While 2,2'-(phenylmethylene)bis(3-hydroxy-5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enone) derivatives were obtained in 40–98% isolated yields in the reaction of aldehydes with dimedone, the corresponding Knoevenagel adducts were provided in 85–95% yields using 1,3-dimethylbarbituric acid. In addition, a DABCO-based polycationic organic salt polymer was prepared and characterized for the first time. 相似文献

The use of ultrasound as an external stimulus for promoting polymerization reactions has received increasing attention in recent years. In this Review article, the fundamental processes that can lead to either the homolytic cleavage of polymer chains, or the sonolysis of solvent (or other) small molecules, under the application of ultrasound are described. These reactions promote the production of reactive radicals, which can be utilized in chain-growth radical polymerizations under the right conditions. A full historical overview of the development of ultrasound-assisted radical polymerization is provided, with special attention given to the recently described systems that are “controlled” by methods of reversible (radical) deactivation. An efficient palladium catalyst was synthesized using nicotine, benzyl chloride and palladium chloride. The structure of this catalyst was characterized and it was then used for the synthesis of diaryl sufides. A variety of diaryl thioethers were synthesized under relatively mild reaction conditions. This protocol avoids foul‐smelling thiols via cross‐coupling of aryl halides with potassium thiocyanate and all substrates give the corresponding products in good to excellent yields in the presence of low amounts of the catalyst.
