The organocatalytic enantioselective syntheses of functionalized hydroisochromenes and chromenes by trienamine‐mediated [4+2]‐cycloaddition/nucleophilic ring‐closing and iminium‐ion/aminal‐mediated oxa‐Michael/Michael/nucleophilic ring‐closing with 2‐nitroallylic alcohols are presented. The corresponding cycloadducts, with up to five stereocenters, are formed in good yield and excellent enantioselectivities. The synthetic applications of the obtained products have been demonstrated.  相似文献

A practical stereoselective iodide–lithium exchange was used in the first general preparation of functionalized stereodefined acyclic secondary nonstabilized lithium reagents from the corresponding secondary alkyl iodides. These lithium reagents react with various electrophiles including carbon electrophiles with high retention of configuration. Kinetic data on the configurational stability of these acyclic alkyllithium reagents are given. This methodology offers a new entry to chiral synthons for the stereoselective synthesis of open‐chain molecules.  相似文献

Parallel factor analysis 2 (PARAFAC2) has been shown to be a powerful tool for resolution of complex overlapping peaks in chromatographic analyses. It is particularly useful because of its ability to handle shifts in the elution time mode and peak shape changes. Like all curve resolution techniques, PARAFAC2 will only find chemically meaningful parameters (elution time profiles and mass spectra) if the correct number of factors are determined. So far, the primary way to determine an appropriate number of factors, when using PARAFAC2, is to calculate models with different number of factors and then inspect the models manually. This approach is time consuming, and the result may be biased because of the manual assessment of the model quality, making PARAFAC2 inaccessible for analytical chemists in general. Here, we develop a method that can determine an appropriate number of factors in an automated way. The automation is based on a number of model diagnostics (quality criteria) collected from models with different numbers of factors. Combining these diagnostics, it is possible to assess what the appropriate number of components is. In this work, only gas chromatography–mass spectrometry data are considered. However, it will most likely be fairly straightforward to expand the work to also cover liquid chromatography data (with a multivariate detector). Automating the model quality evaluation of the PARAFAC2 model enables both the inexperienced and trained user to perform comprehensive and advanced analysis of chromatographic data with a minimum of manual work. © 2013 The Authors. New homologous ammonium-, pyridinium-, and pyrrolidinium-based sulfonamido functionalized ionic liquids have been synthesized in two steps using monoethanolamine, methanesulfonyl chloride, and tosyl chloride as precursors with ethanol as solvent. Attempts to synthesize dual amino functionalized ionic liquid containing both a primary and a secondary amine group in the same ionic liquid are also reported. All functionalized ionic liquids were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR. Melting point and thermal stability of the functionalized ionic liquids were measured by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis.  相似文献

Porous shape-persistent organic cages have become the object of interest in recent years because they are soluble and thus processable from solution. A variety of cages can be achieved by applying dynamic covalent chemistry (DCC), but they are less chemically stable. Here the transformation of a salicylimine cage into a quinoline cage by a twelve-fold Povarov reaction as the key step is described. Besides the chemical stability of the cage over a broad pH regime, it shows a unique absorption and emission depending on acid concentration. Furthermore, thin films for the vapor detection of acids were investigated, showing color switches from pale-yellow to red, and characteristic emission profiles.  相似文献

Secondary ion mass spectrometry studies have been made of the removal of the degraded layer formed on polymeric materials when cleaning focused ion beam (FIB)-sectioned samples comprising both organic and inorganic materials with a 30-keV Ga+ FIB. The degraded layer requires a higher-than-expected Ar gas cluster ion beam (GCIB) dose for its removal, and it is shown that this arises from a significant reduction in the layer sputtering yield compared with that for the undamaged polymer. Stopping and Range of Ions in Matter calculations for many FIB angles of incidence on flat polymer surfaces show the depth of the damage and of the implantation of the Ga+ ions, and these are compared with the measured depth profiles for Ga+-implanted flat polymer surfaces at several angles of incidence using an Ar+ GCIB. The Stopping and Range of Ions in Matter depth and the measured dose give the sputtering yield volume for this damaged and Ga+-implanted layer. These, and literature yield values for Ga+ damaged layers, are combined on a plot showing how the changing sputtering yield is related to the implanted Ga density for several polymer materials. This plot contains data from both the model flat poly(styrene) surfaces and FIB-milled sections showing that these 2 surfaces have the same yield reduction. The results show that the damaged and Ga+-implanted layer's sputtering rate, after FIB sectioning, is 50 to 100 times lower than for undamaged polymers and that it is this reduction in sputtering rate, rather than any development of microtopography, that causes the high Ar+ GCIB dose required for cleaning these organic surfaces.  相似文献

Reductive lithiation of methyl-substituted diarylmethylsilanes using lithium naphthalenide represents a practical method for the preparation of the corresponding silyl lithium reagents. Their addition to chiral sulfinimines affords versatile precursors to silanols and silanediols. The replacement of the currently used diphenylsilane motif by a more labile diarylsilane moiety allows the selective hydrolysis of one or two aryl groups by treatment with TFA.  相似文献

We describe a method for extending radial distribution functions obtained from molecular simulations of pure and mixed molecular fluids to arbitrary distances. The method allows total correlation function integrals to be reliably calculated from simulations of relatively small systems. The long-distance behavior of radial distribution functions is determined by requiring that the corresponding direct correlation functions follow certain approximations at long distances. We have briefly described the method and tested its performance in previous communications [R. Wedberg, J. P. O'Connell, G. H. Peters, and J. Abildskov, Mol. Simul. 36, 1243 (2010); Fluid Phase Equilib. 302, 32 (2011)], but describe here its theoretical basis more thoroughly and derive long-distance approximations for the direct correlation functions. We describe the numerical implementation of the method in detail, and report numerical tests complementing previous results. Pure molecular fluids are here studied in the isothermal-isobaric ensemble with isothermal compressibilities evaluated from the total correlation function integrals and compared with values derived from volume fluctuations. For systems where the radial distribution function has structure beyond the sampling limit imposed by the system size, the integration is more reliable, and usually more accurate, than simple integral truncation.  相似文献

PARAFAC2 is applied in multiple research areas, for example, where data containing shifts are analysed, but it is a challenge to determine the appropriate number of components in the model. In this paper, it is hypothesized that the core consistency diagnostic, which is currently applied in, for example, PARAFAC1 can be used to determine model complexity in PARAFAC2. Theoretically, a PARAFAC1 model is fitted ‘inside’ the PARAFAC2 algorithm, and it should therefore be possible to apply the core consistency diagnostic from PARAFAC1 in PARAFAC2. To support this hypothesis, three different datasets, as well as simulated datasets, have been evaluated by means of PARAFAC2, and the core consistencies have been investigated. There is a general trend that if the core consistency is low, the model is overfitted as in PARAFAC1. Also, core consistency captures the true variation in the data, whereas small peaks are easily overlooked by visual inspection of noisy models. However, for determining the number of components in a PARAFAC2 model, we suggest usage of the core consistency in combination with other model parameters such as residuals, loadings, and split‐half analysis. We reconsider the principle of the 13C bicarbonate (NaH13CO3) method (13C-BM) for the determination of the CO2 production to obtain an estimate of energy expenditure (EE). Its mathematical concept based on a three-compartmental model is related to the [15N]glycine end product method. The CO2 production calculated by the 13C-BM, RaCO2(13C) is compared to the result from the indirect calorimetry, RCO2(IC). In an interspecies comparison (dog, goat, horse, cattle, children, adult human; body mass ranging from 15 to 350?kg, resting and fasting conditions) we found an excellent correlation between the results of 13C-BM and IC with RCO2(IC)?=?0.703?×?RaCO2(13C), (R2?=?0.99). The slope of this correlation corresponds to the fractional 13C recovery (RF(13C)) of 13C in breath CO2 after administration of NaH13CO3. Significant increase in RF(13C) was found in physically active dogs (0.95?±?0.14; n?=?5) vs. resting dogs (0.71?±?0.10, n?=?17; p?=?.015). The 13C recovery in young bulls was greater in blood CO2 (0.81?±?0.05) vs. breath CO2 (0.73?±?0.05, n?=?12, p?<?.001) and in ponies with oral (0.76?±?0.03, n?=?8) vs. intravenous administration of NaH13CO3 (0.69?±?0.07; n?=?8; p?=?.026). We suggest considering the 13C-BM as a ‘stand-alone’ method to provide information on the total CO2 production as an index of EE.  相似文献
