To the best of our knowledge, bioanalytical methods to determine rosiglitazone in human plasma reported in literature use internal standards that are not commercially available. Our purpose was to develop a simple method for the determination of rosiglitazone in plasma employing a commercially available internal standard (IS). After the addition of celecoxib (IS), plasma (0.25 mL) samples were extracted into ethyl acetate. The residue after evaporation of the organic layer was dissolved in 750 microL of mobile phase and 50 microL was injected on to HPLC. The separation was achieved using a Hichrom KR 100, 250 x 4.6 mm C(18) with a mobile phase composition potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer (0.01 m, pH 6.5):acetonitrile:methanol (40:50:10, v/v/v). The flow-rate of the mobile phase was set at 1 mL/min. The column eluate was monitored by fluorescence detector set at an excitation wavelength of 247 nm and emission wavelength of 367 nm. Linear relationships (r(2) > 0.99) were observed between the peak area ratio rosiglitazone to IS vs rosiglitazone concentrations across the concentration range 5-1000 ng/mL. The intra-run precision (%RSD) and accuracy (%Dev) in the measurement of rosiglitazone were <+/-10.69 and <-12.35%, respectively across the QC levels (50-1000 ng/mL). The extraction efficiency was >80% for both rosiglitazone and IS from human plasma. The lower limit of quantitation of the assay was 5 ng/mL. In summary, the methodology for rosiglitazone measurement in plasma was simple, sensitive and employed a commercially available IS. 相似文献

Theoretical natural frequencies and modal shapes of the first five modes of vibration are presented for a rotating blade of asymmetric aerofoil cross section, with allowance for shear deflection and rotary inertia. Frequency equations for a rotating blade with asymmetry in one plane are developed by using the Ritz process, in two ways: namely, by proceeding according to the Reissner method and according to the classical potential energy method. In both cases shape functions for the bending moment, shearing force, twisting moment, bending slope, elastic twist and deflection are developed in series form. The results obtained are compared with those existing in the literature; it is found that the Reissner method approach yields more rapid convergence than does the classical potential energy method. 相似文献

Gain and Noise figure (NF) characteristics in dual-pump parametric amplifier based on silicon on insulator (SOI) Rib waveguides are numerically investigated in the presence of nonlinear losses. The impact of structure parameters of the silicon optical parametric amplifiers (SOPAs) on the gain and the NF are also analyzed. The results show that both the height and the width of the silicon on insulator (SOI) can affect the gain and the NF of SOPAs. 354 nm bandwidth (3 dB) and 8.135 maximum gain can be achieved by tailoring the structure parameters of the SOI rib waveguides. Molybdenum trioxide thin films were prepared by reactive pulsed laser deposition on Corning 7059 glass substrates. The influence
of oxygen partial pressure and deposition temperature on the structure, surface morphology and optical properties of these
films was studied to understand the growth mechanism of MoO3 thin films. The films formed at 473 K in an oxygen partial pressure of 100 mTorr exhibited predominantly a (0k0) orientation,
corresponding to an orthorhombic layered structure of α-MoO3. The evaluated optical band gap of the films was 3.24 eV. The crystallite size increased with increase of deposition temperature.
The films formed at an oxygen partial pressure of pO2=100 mTorr and at a deposition temperature greater than 700 K exhibited both (0k0) and (0kl) orientations, representing α-β
mixed phases of MoO3. The films formed at an oxygen partial pressure less than 100 mTorr were found to be sub-stoichiometric with α-β mixed phases.
The investigation revealed the growth of polycrystalline and single-phase orthorhombic-layered-structure α-MoO3 thin films with composition nearly approaching the nominal stoichiometry at moderate substrate temperatures in an oxygen
partial pressure of 100 mTorr.

In this paper, we study the decay rate of solutions to strongly stable, but not exponentially stable linear evolution equations. It is known that the resolvent operator of such an equation must be unbounded on the imaginary axis. Our main result is an estimate of the decay rate when the unboundedness is of polynomial order. We then apply our main theorem to three strongly stable but not exponentially stable systems to obtain the decay rate, which is not available in the literature.Received: July 21, 2003 相似文献

The densities of N(p-n-pentyloxy benzylidene) p-ethylaniline and N(p-n-hexyloxy benzylidene) p-ethylaniline are measured as a function of temperature from the isotropic liquid to the smectic G phase. Both the compounds exhibit enantiotropic smectic G and nematic liquid crystalline phases. The changes in density across the phase transformations and the thermal expansion coefficient confirm the order of the transitions as of first order. The particular importance of the smectic G to nematic transformation is apparent from the density jump across the transition. An estimate of the pressure dependence of the isotropic-nematic transition temperature is found to be in reasonable accord with the literature data. 相似文献
