A simple, fast and precise reversed phase liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination of artesunate (AS) and amodiaquine (AD) in combined pharmaceutical dosage form. Chromatographic separation of the two drugs was performed on a BDS Hypersil C18, 100 mm × 4.6 mm, 3 μm particle size column as stationary phase with a mobile phase comprising of phosphate buffer (pH 3.0 with orthophosphoric acid) and acetonitrile in the proportion of 50:40 (v/v), at a flow rate of 0.8 mL min?1 and UV detection at wavelength 210 nm for AS and 300 nm for AD using photo diode array detection. The proposed method was validated for specificity, accuracy, linearity, range, precision and was successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of AS and AD in the combined fixed dosage form without any excipient’s interference. 相似文献
The dependence of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) and thermoluminescence (TL) response due to crystal phase in Cu and Cu,Mg-doped Na2SO4 was studied. Study shows that the slowly cooled samples which crystallize in phase V show good OSL sensitivity whereas the quenched samples of Na2SO4 which crystallize in phase III irrespective of doping show no OSL sensitivity. However, during storage when phase III samples get converted to phase V, samples show OSL sensitivity comparable to freshly prepared samples in phase V. Hence, it is observed that TL–OSL properties of doped Na2SO4 are phase dependent .This study will be helpful in developing OSL phosphors in which phase plays an important role in deciding the desired properties. 相似文献

The simple recrystallization process is innovatively used to obtain the nanoparticles of copper phthalocyanine by a simple method. Liquid-liquid interface recrystallization technique (LLIRCT) has been employed successfully to produce small sized copper phthalocyanine nanoparticles with diameter between 3-5 nm. The TEM-SAED studies revealed the formation of 3-5 nm sized with beta-phase dominated mixture of alpha and beta copper phthalocyanine nanoparticles. The XRD, SEM, and the UV-vis studies were further carried out to confirm the formation of copper phthalocyanine thin films. The cyclic voltametry (CV) studies conclude that redox reaction is totally reversible one electron transfer process. The process is attributed to Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox reaction. 相似文献
We have studied the dynamic structure of thin (approximately a few nanometers) liquid films of a nearly spherical, nonpolar molecule tetrakis(2-ethylhexoxy)silane (TEHOS) by using a combination of atomic force microscopy (AFM) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS). Ultra-sensitive interferometer-based AFM was used to determine the stiffness (force gradient) and the damping coefficient of the liquid film. The experiments show oscillations in the damping coefficient with a period of approximately 1 nm, which is consistent with the molecular dimension of TEHOS as well as previous X-ray reflectivity measurements. Additionally, we performed FCS experiments for direct determination of the molecular dynamics within the liquid film. From the fluctuation autocorrelation curve, we measured the translational diffusion of the probe molecule embedded within the fluid film formed on a solid substrate. The autocorrelation function was best fitted with two components, which indicate that the dynamics are heterogeneous in nature. However, the heterogeneity is not as pronounced as had been previously observed for molecularly thin liquid films sandwiched between two solid substrates. 相似文献
Various extracts of Ficus bengalensis bark was screened for it's antiallergic and antistress potential in asthma by milk-induced leucocytosis and milk-induced eosinophilia. Aqueous, ethanol, and ethyl acetate extracts showed significant decrease in leucocytes and eosinophils in the order given while petroleum ether and chloroform extracts were inactive. This shows the application of polar constituents of F. bengalensis bark as antistress and antiallergic agents in asthma. 相似文献
Summary: The morphology and tensile deformation behaviour of a highly asymmetric styrene/butadiene star block copolymer (polystyrene (PS) content = 74%) containing random PS‐co‐PB (polybutadiene) copolymer as a rubbery phase were investigated. The existence of double yielding, similar to that observed in some semicrystalline polymers, was detected in this nanostructured amorphous polymer. The observed phenomenon may be correlated with two different micromechanical processes taking place at the initial stage of deformation.

We have developed a simple model potential with a hard core and the correct large-r Coulombic behaviour, to describe the interaction of an electron with a closed shell. One has an exact, analytic ground state
wave function for this potential. This potential is used to develop two-electron perturbed and unperturbed wave functions,
with the correct asymptotic behaviour and cusp conditions. These wave functions allow us to obtain accurate values for the
two-electron energies, polarisabilities, hyperpolarisabilities, and dispersion coefficients of alkaline earth sequences. Many
of these results are the only ones available in the literature.

Injection moulded copolymer specimens containing between 6 to 11% ethylene were impacted using the drop weight method at 23°C and −20°C. Their response to the impact event was analysed in terms of failure mechanisms by considering their initiation and propagation energies at the respective temperatures. At −20°C, the results indicated that the multiple shear yielding toughening mechanism is predominant whereas room temperature tests show evidence of multiple crazing behaviour. The peak force sustained by the specimens decreased with the testing temperature. 相似文献
