Summary Binuclear iron(III) derivatives, Fe2Cl(anth)5, Fe2Cl(salH)5, Fe2Cl(acac)5 and Fe2Cl(quin)5 · quinH have been prepared by reacting Fe2Cl(OH)2(AcO)3 · 2AcOH with anthranilic acid (anthH), salicylic acid (salH2), acetylacetone (acacH) and 8-hydroxyquinoline (quinH), respectively. We address the following question: is the causal coupling method as strong as the conductance method in showing rapid mixing of Markov chains? A causal coupling is a coupling which uses only past and present information, but not information about the future. We answer the above question in the negative by showing that there exists a bipartite graph G such that any causal coupling argument on the Jerrum–Sinclair Markov chain for sampling almost uniformly from the set of perfect and near perfect matchings of G must necessarily take time exponential in the number of vertices in G. Pulsatile flow of a viscous fluid between two permeable beds is analyzed. The flow between and through the permeable beds are governed by the Navier-Stokes equations and Darcy's law, respectively. The velocity field and the volume flux are obtained for several cases and discussed. Further, when the permeability parameter k→0, the results agree with those of Wang (J. Appl. We demonstrate narrow band optical filter like frequency response with full width half maximum (FWHM) of nearly (1.75 ± 0.25) Hz in fluorescein doped boric acid glass films [10−4 M], using modulated optical phase conjugation and a nearly non-degenerate four wave mixing technique. Modulated optical phase conjugation signals are described in the limit of a weak probe and relatively strong pump beams. Both pump beams are of nearly equal intensity at a wavelength of 514.5 nm from a continuous-wave Ar+ laser. Due to high resistivity and low microwave losses, gadolinium iron garnets (GdIG) are useful materials for non-reciprocal devices such as circulators or isolators. Keeping the miniaturization and cost reduction in mind, the trend is to modify the conventional methods of preparation of samples. In this connection we have synthesized nanocystalline GdIG by using the Microwave Hydrothermal method at 160 °C/45 min. As synthesized powders were characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy. XRD patterns show the formation of a garnet phase with crystallite size varying between 19 nm and 40 nm. Differential Thermal Analysis studies were also carried out on the nanopowders. The powders were densified at a lower sintering temperature of 1100 °C/45 min using a microwave sintering method. The sintered samples were characterized by XRD and atomic force microscopy. The frequency dependence of complex permittivity and ferromagnetic resonance were measured in the Ka band frequency (27–40 GHz). Magnetic properties were also measured at room temperature. 相似文献

We report a large and nonvolatile bipolar-electric-field-controlled magnetization at room temperature in a Co(40)Fe(40)B(20)/Pb(Mg(1/3)Nb(2/3))(0.7)Ti(0.3)O(3) structure, which exhibits an electric-field-controlled looplike magnetization. Investigations on the ferroelectric domains and crystal structures with in situ electric fields reveal that the effect is related to the combined action of 109° ferroelastic domain switching and the absence of magnetocrystalline anisotropy in Co(40)Fe(40)B(20). This work provides a route to realize large and nonvolatile magnetoelectric coupling at room temperature and is significant for applications. 相似文献

In this work, we investigate the electrical, structural, and thermal properties of composite polymer electrolytes (CPEs). Different mass fractions of antimony trioxide filler, Sb2O3, are added into poly(acrylic acid) (PAA)-based polymer electrolytes with N-lithiotrifluoromethane sulphonamide [LiN(SO2CF3)2] (LiTFSI) as doping salt. Characteristics such as alternating current (AC)–impedance spectroscopy, attenuated total reflectance–Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) are analyzed. The highest ionic conductivity of (2.15?±?0.01)?×?10?4 S cm?1 is achieved at room temperature with addition of 6 wt% of fillers. The ionic transportation is further proven in a transference number study under DC polarization, whereas ATR-FTIR is employed to explore the complexation between PAA, LiTFSI, and Sb2O3. TGA reveals the improved thermal stability of CPEs. The glass transition temperature (T g) is reduced upon addition of Sb2O3 as shown in DSC analysis. 相似文献

Biodegradable and natural rice starch (RS) polymer with lithium iodide salt (LiI) was used to prepare polymer electrolytes using solution cast technique. Polymer electrolyte films were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). TGA and DSC thermograms demonstrate that decomposition temperature (Tdc) and glass transition temperature (Tg) for rice starch shift upon complexation with lithium iodide salt. Thermolysis studies using TGA show decomposition temperature decreases with the addition of lithium iodide salt. XRD patterns show increase in amorphous behavior with doping of lithium iodide salt. The morphology studies were observed using SEM in terms of smoothness and miscibility. 相似文献
