Infrared bands mainly associated with v(M—X2) stretching modes (M = Pd or Pt, and X = Cl, Br, or P) have been identified in the spectra of 35 carbene complexes. Based on these results and on |1J| (31 P—195 Pt) the trans-influence of the carbene ligands is assessed.  相似文献

The extraction of iodine and bromine under various conditions from their saturated aqueous solutions by CCl4, C6H6 and o-xylene has been studied. The data obtained from the experiments carried out at various temperatures, for H2O(I2)−CCl4 and H2O(I2)−C6H6 systems, exhibit an Arrhenius behaviour. The overall activation energy calculated for the extraction in the H2O(I2)−CCl4 system, 650±50 cal·mol−1 is lower than that of H2O(I2)−C6H6, 3600±300 cal·mol−1. The use of the solubility parameter for the interpretation of the data in the extraction of iodine is investigated. The data obtained in multiple extractions are treated by using the analogy between extraction and radioactive decay. The half number of extraction for each system is determined. The complex curves obtained in the H2O(I2)−CCl4 and H2O(I2) −Br2)−CCl4 systems are resolved into two components.  相似文献

We rigorously prove that the probabilityP n that the origin of ad-dimensional lattice belongs to a cluster of exactlyn sites satisfiesP n > exp(–n (d–1)/d ) whenever percolation occurs. This holds for the usual (noninteracting) percolation models for any concentrationp > p c , as well as for the equilibrium states of lattice spin systems with quite general interactions. New Hofmann-type complexes and clathrates of the forms M(piperidine)2Ni(CN)4 and M(piperidine)2Ni(CN)4·1.5G (M=Cd, Co, Ni or Cu; G=benzene) were prepared in powder form and their infrared and Raman spectra are reported. The spectral features suggest that these compounds are similar in structure to the Hofmann-type clathrates except for the copper compounds. The complex and clathrate of Cu have different spectral features in comparison with its analogues due to the Jahn-Teller effect.  相似文献

Block copolyurethanes with N-alkylated polyurethanes as nonself-associating soft segments are prepared. The polymers compare well in hydrolytic stability with block copoly(N-alkylamide urethane)s prepared in an earlier study but have better dimensional stability on exposure to moist heat. They show comparable hydrolytic stability and better oxidative stability than a poly(ether urethane) from the earlier study. The effect of different alkyl substituents on tensile properties and thermostability is studied. The tensile properties are also examined as a function of soft-segment molecular weight at constant weight-percent of hard-block. It is shown that yield stress and ultimate stress increase and elongations decrease as the soft-block M?n increases. DSC measurements do not generally show well defined endotherms with few exceptions but dynamic mechanical testing of some samples does show transitions between 14 and 23°C.  相似文献

The title compounds, (E)‐2‐[(2‐bromo­phenyl)imino­methyl]‐4‐methoxy­phenol, C14H12BrNO2, (I), (E)‐2‐[(3‐bromo­phenyl)­imino­methyl]‐4‐methoxy­phenol, C14H12BrNO2, (II), and (E)‐2‐[(4‐bromo­phenyl)imino­methyl]‐4‐methoxy­phenol, C14H12BrNO2, (III), adopt the phenol–imine tautomeric form. In all three structures, there are strong intra­molecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds. Compound (I) has strong inter­molecular hydrogen bonds, while compound (III) has weak inter­molecular hydrogen bonds. In addition to these inter­molecular inter­actions, C—H⋯π inter­actions in (I) and (III), and π–π inter­actions in (I), play roles in the crystal packing. The dihedral angles between the aromatic rings are 15.34 (12), 6.1 (3) and 39.2 (14)° for (I), (II) and (III), respectively.  相似文献

Poly(N‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone‐crotonic acid) [P(VP/CrA)] hydrogels were prepared by irradiating the ternary mixture of VP/CrA and crosslinking agent ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) in water by γ rays at ambient temperature. Differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis were performed to evaluate the thermal properties of ionized networks and to establish if they showed thermal differences that could be related to the CrA content in the gel system. The volume swelling ratio of P(VP/CrA) hydrogels were investigated as a function of the pH in the immersing solution. The volume swelling ratio of these hydrogels increased with an increase in pH and a decrease CrA content in the hydrogel. The volume swelling ratio of the hydrogels was also evaluated using an equation, based on the Flory—Huggins thermodynamic theory, the phantom network theory of James–Guth and Donnan theory of swelling of weakly charged ionic gels for determination of the molecular weight between crosslinks and the polymer–solvent interaction parameter (χ). The novel bis(cyclohexylaminium) cyclohexylaminebis(orotate–N,O)cuprate(II) dihydrate, (C6H15N)2[Cu(C5H2N2O4)2(C6H14N)] · 2H2O, has been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, FT-IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy, thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The Cu(II) complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c. The copper atom in the five-coordinated (chaH)2[Cu(HOr–N,O)2(cha)] · 2H2O is chelated by a deprotonated pyrimidine nitrogen atom and carboxylate oxygen atom as a bis(bidentate) ligand and the cyclohexylamine ligand completes the square-pyramidal coordination. The thermal decomposition of the complex has been predicted by the help of thermal analysis (TG, DTG and DTA).  相似文献
