Synthesis, IR Spectrum, and Crystal Structure of N,N'-Bis(trimethylsilyl)benzamidinium Tetrachloroferrate(III) The title compound [C6H5? C(NHSiMe3)2][FeCl4] is obtained by the reaction of FeCl3 with N,N,N'-tris(trimethylsilyl)benzamidine in the presence of tetrahydrofurane, forming yellow, moisture sensitive crystals. The compound is characterized by its IR spectrum as well as by an X-ray structure determination. Space group P21/n, Z = 8, 5974 independent observed reflexions, R = 0.066. The lattice dimensions are at ?70°C: a = 2110.7, b = 1109.5, c = 2120.4 pm; β = 111.17º. The compound forms ion pairs, in which the H atoms of the amidinium cation are coordinated with one chlorine ligand of the FeCl4? ion in a chelating manner. 相似文献

The chromatic sequential lability between a tert-butyl ketone-derived linker (sensitive to irradiation at 305 nm) and a nitroveratryloxycarbonyl (NVOC) group (sensitive at 360 nm) was exploited to prepare Leu-Enkephalin in a 55% overall yield. Summary A method is proposed for the determination of stibine, applicable to its solutions in organic solvents and also to the solvent-free liquid or solid substance. The procedure involves oxidation of SbH3 with an excess of bromine to SbV, reduction to SbIII with SO2, and oxidimetric titration of the trivalent antimony with iodine or bromate.

The efficient esterification of various sulfonic acids and sulfonates using polymer-bound triazenes based on the triazene T2 linker is described. Esterification of enantiopure alpha-substituted sodium sulfonates was performed in the presence of an alkylating resin without racemization. Racemization is a serious drawback in the esterification route via sulfonyl chlorides because of intermediate sulfene formation. To demonstrate the versatility of this protocol, phosphoric and phosphinic acids have been converted into the corresponding esters as well. Fermentation of a reconstituted skim milk concentrate (8% protein) was investigated to elucidate the effects of various fermentation parameters on the structural, rheological and visual (wheying-off) properties of the resulting gels (pH 4.60). Fermentation trials were performed with non-exocellular polysaccharide-producing strains of Streptococcus thermophilus at various fermentation temperatures and at various chymosin levels. Oscillatory vane rheometry carried out on the intact gels (at 4 °C) showed that the level of chymosin had a significant impact on the gel strength (storage modulus G′). This can be explained by the arrangement of casein micelles into more compact aggregates and the enhanced fusion of aggregated casein micelles as revealed by transmission electron microscopy for the gels fermented with chymosin. Wheying-off of the stirred gels as measured by a centrifugation test (at 4 °C) and pore size of the intact gel structures investigated by scanning electron microscopy both increased with increasing level of chymosin and increasing fermentation temperature (resulting in an increase in acidification rate). A higher level of syneresis (wheying-off) is explained by the larger pore size, since larger pores present a lower resistance to the outflow of whey from the gel. 相似文献
