The effect of γ-ray exposure on the metal–insulator–semiconductor (MIS) structures has been investigated using the electrical characteristics at room temperature. The MIS structures are irradiated with 60Co γ-ray source. The energy distribution of interface states was determined from the forward bias IV characteristics by taking into account the bias dependence of the effective barrier height and ideality factor. The value of series resistance decreases with increasing dose. Experimental results confirmed that γ-ray irradiation have a significant effect on electrical characteristics of MIS structures.  相似文献

Highly swollen hydrogels made by the polymerization of acrylamide (AAm) with some anionic monomers such as citraconic acid (CITA) and sodium acrylate (SA) were investigated as a function of composition to find materials with swelling and dye sorption properties. Highly swollen AAm/CITA/SA or AAm/SA/CITA hydrogels were prepared by free radical solution polymerization in aqueous solutions of AAm with CITA and SA as co‐monomers and two multifunctional crosslinkers such as ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) and 1,4‐butanediol dimethacrylate (BDMA). Swelling experiments were performed in water at 25°C, gravimetrically. Chemically crosslinked AAm/CITA/SA or AAm/SA/CITA hydrogels were used in experiments on sorption of water‐soluble monovalent cationic dye such as “Nil blue” (Basic Blue 12; BB 12). Equilibrium percentage swelling values of AAm/CITA/SA or AAm/SA/CITA hydrogels were calculated in the range of 1797–22,098%. Some swelling kinetic parameters were found. Diffusion behavior of water was investigated. Water diffusion into the hydrogels was found to be non‐Fickian in character. For sorption of cationic dye, BB 12 into the hydrogels was studied by batch sorption technique at 25°C. AAm/CITA/SA or AAm/SA/CITA hydrogels in the dye solutions showed coloration, whereas AAm hydrogel did not show sorption of any dye from the solution. The sorption capacity of AAm/CITA/SA or AAm/SA/CITA hydrogels was investigated. At the end of the experiments, 21.70–78.91% BB 12 adsorptions were determined. Supply chain finance and working capital management are important avenues to reduce supply chain costs. Small suppliers may not have sufficient working capital to finance their operations and efficiently supply their customers. We develop a model that captures the fundamental aspects of financial and operational planning in a two-stage supply chain, with both strong and weak members. A strong member can negotiate for more favorable financing rates, more advantageous payment terms, and shorter lead times than a weaker member. We investigate two working capital allocation scenarios. In the dedicated working capital allocation scenario, the members of the supply chain each have their own working capital. In the joint working capital allocation scenario, the members of the supply chain have a joint pool of working capital. Our results demonstrate significant benefits when the members of the supply chain share the working capital. We also show that extending payment delays to a supplier upstream results in higher overall supply chain costs.  相似文献

m-Plane GaN was grown selectively by metal–organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) on patterned Si(1 1 2) substrates, where grooves aligned parallel to the Si〈1 1 0〉 direction were formed by anisotropic wet etching to expose the vertical Si{1 1 1} facets for growth initiation. The effect of growth conditions (substrate temperature, chamber pressure, and ammonia and trimethylgallium flow rates) on the growth habits of GaN was studied with the aim of achieving coalesced m-plane GaN films. The epitaxial relationship was found to be GaN(1 1? 0 0) || Si(1 1 2), GaN[0 0 0 1] || Si[1 1 –1], GaN[1? 1? 2 0] || Si[1 1? 0]. Among all growth parameters, the ammonia flow rate was revealed to be the critical factor determining the growth habits of GaN. The distribution of extended defects, such as stacking faults and dislocations, in the selectively grown GaN were studied by transmission electron microscopy in combination with spatially resolved cathodoluminescence and scanning electron microscopy. Basal-plane stacking faults were found in the nitrogen-wing regions of the laterally overgrown GaN, while gallium-wings were almost free of extended defects, except for the regions near the GaN/Si{1 1 1} vertical sidewall interface, where high dislocation density was observed.  相似文献
