Single crystals of bis (glycine) lithium molybdate [BGLM] with dimensions 20 mm × 10 mm × 5 mm were grown by slow evaporation technique. The grown crystals were subjected to powder X-ray diffraction studies. Functional groups of the crystallized molecules were confirmed by FTIR analyses. Transmission range of the crystal was determined by UV–vis–NIR spectra. Vickers microhardness test was performed on the prominent plane (0 1 1) of the grown crystal. The NLO property of the crystal was confirmed by Kurtz SHG test and compared with NLO efficiency of KDP crystal. 相似文献

The free vibration and stability of axially functionally graded tapered Euler–Bernoulli beams are studied through solving the governing differential equations of motion. Observing the fact that the conventional differential transform method (DTM) does not necessarily converge to satisfactory results, a new approach based on DTM called differential transform element method (DTEM) is introduced which considerably improves the convergence rate of the method. In addition to DTEM, differential quadrature element method of lowest-order (DQEL) is used to solve the governing differential equation, as well. Nanographene- and graphene-based nanohybrids have garnered attention in the biomedical community owing to their biocompatibility, excellent aqueous processability, ease of cellular uptake, facile surface functionalization, and thermal and electrical conductivities. NiO nanoparticle-graphene nanohybrid (G-NiO) was synthesized by first depositing Ni(OH)2 onto the surface of graphene oxide (GO) sheets. The Ni(OH)2-GO hybrids were then reduced to G-NiO using date palm syrup at 85 °C. The prepared G-NiO nanohybrids were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The NiO nanoparticles, with a diameter of approximately 20–30 nm, were uniformly dispersed over the surface of the graphene sheets. The G-NiO hybrids exhibit biocompatibility in human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) up to 100 μg/mL. The nanohybrids do not cause any significant changes in cellular and nuclear morphologies in hMSCs. Prediction of tides is very much essential for human activities and to reduce the construction cost in marine environment. This paper presents two methods (1) an application of the functional networks (FN) and (2) sequential learning neural network (SLNN) procedures for the accurate prediction of tides using very short-term observation. This functional network model predicts the time series data of hourly tides directly while using an efficient learning process by minimizing the error based on the observed data for 30 days. Using the functional network, a very simple equation in the form of finite difference equation using the tidal levels at two previous time steps is arrived at. Sequential learning neural network uses one hidden neuron to predict the current tidal level using the previous four levels quite accurately. Hourly tidal data measured at Taichung harbor and Mirtuor coast along the Taiwan coastal region have been used for testing the functional network and sequential neural network model. Results show that the hourly data on tides for even a month can be predicted efficiently with a very high correlation coefficient. 相似文献
