Structurally diverse alcohols and phenols were trimethylsilylated in a clean and efficient reaction with hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) based on the use of I2 generated in situ from Fe(NO3)3?9 H2O/NaI. This study aimed to investigate the increase in heat transfer in the indirect heater at a city gate station (CGS) with the addition of copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles to water–ethylene glycol base fluids. Indirect heaters are typically used at CGSs to raise the heat transfer coefficient of output gas flow from ? 5 to 15 °C. Moreover, manufacturing laboratory equipment in the presence of water–ethylene glycol base fluid and the nanoparticle in volume fractions of 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 at a temperature of 40–70 °C was discussed using dimensional simulation and analysis. The physical properties of the base fluid and nanofluid were measured using precise devices. Heat transfer tests for the base and nanofluid, as well as replacing of the air by gas, were conducted in a simulated and developed device. According to the obtained results with respect to the changes in convection and conduction heat transfer, enhancement of temperature difference at a rate of 36% was observed in the indirect heater with nanoparticle volume concentration of 0.2% at a temperature of 70 °C. Moreover, the Nusselt number showed a relatively good agreement with theoretical discussions.
We construct infinite families of pairwise non-isomorphic indecomposable totally reflexive modules of high multiplicity. Under suitable conditions on the totally reflexive modules M and N, we find infinitely many non-isomorphic indecomposable modules arising as extensions of M by N. The construction uses the bimodule structure of \({Ext^{1}_{R}}((M,N)\) over the endomorphism rings of N and M. Our results compare with a recent theorem of Celikbas, Gheibi and Takahashi, and broaden the scope of that theorem. 相似文献
Tissue engineering approach aims to overcome the transplant drawbacks and facilitate tissue repair and regeneration. Here, a new conductive, highly porous, and flexible polycaprolactone/gelatin/polypyrrole/graphene 3D scaffolds for nerve tissue repair is presented. A simple and efficient porogen leaching fabrication method is applied to create a 3D network with a pore radius of 3.8 ± 0.7 to 4.2 ± 0.8 μm with an exceptional uniform circular porous structure. The conductivity of the polymeric scaffold without graphene, in wet conditions, was found to be 0.78 ± 0.1 S.m−1 and it increased to 3.3 ± 0.2 S.m−1 for the optimized sample containing 3wt% graphene (G3). Tensile strength was measured at 163 KPa for the base sample (without graphene) and improved to 526 KPa for G3 sample. Following 42 days of incubation in PBS, 32.5% degradation for the base sample (without graphene) was observed. The cell study demonstrated a non-cytotoxic nature of all scaffolds tested and the cells had mostly stretched and covered the surface. Overall, the sum of results presented in this study demonstrate a simple fabrication platform with extraordinary aspects that can be utilized to mimic the native conductive tissue properties, and also because of its flexibility it can easily be rolled into a nerve conduit to fill gaps in nerve tissue regeneration. 相似文献

Growth and ordering of GeSi islands in Ge-Si multilayer systems during deposition by Low-Pressure Chemical Vapour Deposition (LPCVD) at 700°C on Si (001) substrates have been investigated for different layer distances by transmission electron microscopy of cross-section and plane-view specimens. Vertical ordering of GeSi islands with almost perfect correlation is observed for distances between the Ge layers of 100 nm. At larger interlayer distances, a continuous decrease of the correlation is found. Vertical ordering in the multilayer system is modelled in terms of the elastic interaction between island nuclei in a newly forming layer and close islands in a buried layer below. Lateral ordering parallel to < 100 >, as observed previously in larger Ge-Si multilayer systems is not found in our systems, consisting of two Ge layers. This difference indicates that lateral ordering in the upper Ge layers of a large multilayer system is triggered by vertical ordering. 相似文献
