Fast-flow spherical homogeneous agarose beads were prepared by an emulsification method, and were cross-linked and activated by repeated treatment with allylbromide and bromine/water, followed by alkali. Bis(2-aminopyridyl)dioxime (APD) was synthesized by the reaction of 2-aminopyridine, and dichloroglyoxime and characterized by melting-point as well as IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and MS spectroscopies. APD was chemically linked to activated agarose beads to be employed for the column preconcentration of metal ions. Capacity measurements for eight metal ions indicated a high selectivity of the adsorbent towards Cu2+ with a capacity of 25.7 micromol per ml packed adsorbent. A factorial design was used for optimization of the effects of 5 different variables on the recovery of Cu2+. Under the optimized conditions, Cu2+ was quantitatively accumulated on a 0.25 ml packed column of the adsorbent in the pH range of 4 to 6, and simply eluted with 2 ml of a 1 mol 1(-1) hydrochloric acid solution. The column could tolerate salt concentrations up to 0.5 mol 1(-1), sample flow rates up to 15 ml min(-1), and sample volumes beyond 1000 ml. Matrix ions of Na+, Mg2+ and Ca2+ and potentially interfering ions of Ni2+, Cd2+, Zn2+, Fe3+ and Co2+ with relatively high concentrations did not show any significant effect on the analyte's signal. Preconcentration factors up to 500 and a detection limit of 0.16 microg 1(-1) were obtained for the determination of the analyte by flame AAS. Application of the method to the determination of natural and spiked copper in river water and seawater samples resulted in quantitative recoveries.  相似文献

An analytical, visual and open source model based on solving the rate equations for InGaN/GaN single quantum well (QW) lasers has been carried out. In the numerical computations, the fourth-order Runge–Kutta method has been used for solving the differential rate equations. The rate equations which have been considered in this simulation include the two level rate equations for the well and separate confinement heterostructure (SCH) layers. We present a new and inexpensive modeling method with analytical, visual and open source capabilities to investigate and comprehend the QW laser characteristics such as time behavior of carriers in SCHs and QW, photon density, output power and gain, and also the output power versus current which presents the threshold current of the laser. The characteristics of the QW lasers, which include laser time response (Pt), turn-on delay time of lasing and output power–current (PI) characteristic and related features such as threshold current and slope efficiency have been investigated. Our model accurately computes the Pt and PI characteristics such as turn-on delay time, threshold current and slope efficiency, and also illustrates the effects of parameters such as the injection current and geometry.  相似文献

A polytyramine-copper oxalate nanocomposite modified copper(PTCOxNMC) electrode prepared by electropolymerization was examined for electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of methanol in alkaline solution using cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. The prepared PTCOxNMC electrode showed a significantly high response for adsorbed methanol oxidation. The effects of various parameters such as potential scan rate and methanol concentration on the electrocatalytic oxidation at the surface of the PTCOxNMC electrode were investigated. Spectrometry techniques such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used to determine the surface physical characteristics of the modified electrode and revealed that the polytyramine-copper oxalate nanocomposite particles were highly dispersed on the surface of the copper electrode with a narrow size up to 40 nm. The very high current density obtained for the catalytic oxidation may have resulted from the high electrode surface area caused by modification with the poly-tyramine-copper oxalate nanocomposite.  相似文献

Traditionally, Brassica species are widely used in traditional medicine, human food, and animal feed. Recently, special attention has been dedicated to Brassica seeds as source of health-promoting phytochemicals. This review provides a summary of recent research on the Brassica seed phytochemistry, bioactivity, dietary importance, and toxicity by screening the major online scientific database sources and papers published in recent decades by Elsevier, Springer, and John Wiley. The search was conducted covering the period from January 1964 to July 2022. Phytochemically, polyphenols, glucosinolates, and their degradation products were the predominant secondary metabolites in seeds. Different extracts and their purified constituents from seeds of Brassica species have been found to possess a wide range of biological properties including antioxidant, anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, and neuroprotective activities. These valuable functional properties of Brassica seeds are related to their richness in active compounds responsible for the prevention and treatment of various chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cancer, and COVID-19. Currently, the potential properties of Brassica seeds and their components are the main focus of research, but their toxicity and health risks must also be accounted for.  相似文献

The excitation of theΔ resonance is observed in proton collisions on C, Nb and Pb targets at 0.8 and 1.6 GeV incident energies. The mass E0 and widthΓ of the resonance are determined from the invariant mass spectra of correlated (p, π±)-pairs in the final state of the collision: The mass E0 is smaller than that of the free resonance, however by comparing to intra-nuclear cascade calculations, this reduction is traced back to the effects of Fermi motion, NN scattering and pion reabsorption in nuclear matter.  相似文献

On the basis of the affinity of alumina towards hydroxyl functional groups, a solid phase microextraction (SPME) fiber was constructed using alumina powder and poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC). Different compositions were tested and alumina:PVC (97:3) was selected as an optimun composition. A piece of silver wire was used as fiber support. The fiber producing was simple and could be completed in a few minutes. The mechanical durability of the fiber was so good that only a single fiber was used during this study. Ethanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol, 1-pentanol, 2-pentanol and cyclohexanol were selected as target analytes. Finally, ethanol concentration in the fruit juices and vinegar was measured using SPME-capillary gas chromatography followed by flame ionization detection.  相似文献

We consider the Schrödinger equation with a combination of Deng–Fan-type and harmonic terms. To solve the corresponding differential equation, we split the equation to two parts: the parent and the perturbation terms. We use the Nikiforov–Uvarov technique to solve the parent part. For the perturbation part, we apply the series expansion method. Next, using the calculated wave function, we investigate some bottom and charm mesons within the Isgur–Wise function formalism. We present especially semileptonic \({\bar{B} \rightarrow D\ell \bar{\nu}}\) and \({\bar{B}_{s} \rightarrow D_s \ell \bar{\nu }}\) decay widths, branching ratios and \({|V_{cb}|}\) (element of the CKM matrix). Masses of some pseudoscalar mesons are also indicated. Comparisons of our results with experimental values and other approaches are included.  相似文献
