In this paper we use symmetry of Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs) to generate some types of virtual sub-bands that are lower in number than the real sub-bands obtained through conventional-TB. It is shown that the virtual sub-bands maintain the value of band gap. In obtaining the sub bands, the interactions of the nearest and the second and third-nearest neighbors are taken into account. As the consequence of lower number of sub-bands, a significant reduction in computational effort has occurred and made the approach useful.   相似文献

For a finite morphism f : X Y of smooth varieties such that f maps X birationally onto X=f(X), the local equations of f are obtained at the double points which are not triple. If C is the conductor of X over X, and are the subschemes defined by C, then D and are shown to be complete intersections at these points, provided that C has the expected codimension. This leads one to determine the depth of local rings of X at these double points. On the other hand, when C is reduced in X, it is proved that X is weakly normal at these points, and some global results are given. For the case of affine spaces, the local equations of X at these points are computed.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the simultaneous effects of both deteriorating product items and deteriorating production processes on economic production quantity, inspection schedules, and the economic design of control charts. Deterioration times for both product and process are assumed to follow arbitrary probability distributions. The product quality characteristic, however, is assumed to be normally distributed. Optical power splitter is an important building element in the photonic systems. Here, a 1 × 3 power divider using magneto-optical photonic crystal is proposed. The mechanism of operation is based on spatial field distribution, the mode matching of the fields and the effect of gyrotropy. It has a wide branching angle and the input power can either be switched completely to one of the output ports or divided equally between the three output ports by using an external magneto-static bias signal. A very good power transmission between the input and the output ports is observed.  相似文献

An efficient approach was employed to simultaneously functionalize and reduce the graphene oxide (GO) with p-phenylene diamine (PPD) using simple refluxing. There was a possibility of nucleophilic substitution of amino moieties of PPD with the epoxy groups of GO. The polythiophene (PTh) and polythiophene-co-poly(methylmethacrylate) (PTh-co-PMMA) nanocomposites with chemically modified GO were prepared using in situ polymerization technique. Two series of nanocomposites that is PTh/PPD-GO and PTh-co-PMMA/PPD-GO were designed. The nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity measurement. The FTIR spectra depicted the characteristic absorption peaks for the formation of copolymer and their composites with PPD-GO. The SEM micrographs showed that the PPD-GO nanosheets were homogeneously dispersed in copolymer matrix forming nano-granular morphology. The nanofluids were prepared by suspending modified GO particles inside the basefluid of polythiophene and PTh-co-PMMA. The thermal conductivity of nanocomposites was significantly improved even with low PPD-GO loading. The thermal conductivity of PTh-co-PMMA/PPD-GO with 1.5 wt.% filler was increased to 1.42 W/mK at a higher temperature. The XRD patterns confirmed the presence of chemical interactions between the copolymer and filler particles. The electrical conductivity of PTh-co-PMMA/PPD-GO was also found to increase in the range of 6.1 × 10?3–2.5 × 10?2 S/cm. Novel PTh-co-PMMA/PPD-GO-based nanocomposite is potentially significant in high-performance thermal systems.  相似文献
