We report a design of delay coupling for lag synchronization in two unidirectionally coupled chaotic oscillators. A delay term is introduced in the definition of the coupling to target any desired lag between the driver and the response. The stability of the lag synchronization is ensured by using the Hurwitz matrix stability. We are able to scale up or down the size of a driver attractor at a response system in presence of a lag. This allows compensating the attenuation of the amplitude of a signal during transmission through a delay line. The delay coupling is illustrated with numerical examples of 3D systems, the Hindmarsh-Rose neuron model, the Ro?ssler system, a Sprott system, and a 4D system. We implemented the coupling in electronic circuit to realize any desired lag synchronization in chaotic oscillators and scaling of attractors. 相似文献
Constructing a spanning tree of a graph is one of the most basic tasks in graph theory. Motivated by several recent studies of local graph algorithms, we consider the following variant of this problem. Let G be a connected bounded‐degree graph. Given an edge e in G we would like to decide whether e belongs to a connected subgraph consisting of edges (for a prespecified constant ), where the decision for different edges should be consistent with the same subgraph . Can this task be performed by inspecting only a constant number of edges in G ? Our main results are:
We show that if every t‐vertex subgraph of G has expansion then one can (deterministically) construct a sparse spanning subgraph of G using few inspections. To this end we analyze a “local” version of a famous minimum‐weight spanning tree algorithm.
We show that the above expansion requirement is sharp even when allowing randomization. To this end we construct a family of 3‐regular graphs of high girth, in which every t‐vertex subgraph has expansion . We prove that for this family of graphs, any local algorithm for the sparse spanning graph problem requires inspecting a number of edges which is proportional to the girth.
A total synthesis of largazole that proceeds in 8 steps from commercial materials is reported, along with some structure-activity relationships. A combination of NMR studies and molecular modeling have also provided a preliminary picture of the conformation of largazole. 相似文献
Here, the effect of solvent on the stability of non-covalent complexes, was studied. These complexes were from previously published S22, S66, and X40 datasets, which include hydrogen-, halogen- and dispersion-bonded complexes. It was shown that the charge transfer in the complex determines whether the complex is stabilized or destabilized in solvent. 相似文献
Dichrostachys cinerea (L.) Wigth & Arn. (DC) is widely used in traditional medicine against several inflammatory diseases, especially rheumatoid arthritis, because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. This study aimed to characterize the polyphenol-rich DC fruit extracts and investigate the analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects in a rat inflammation model induced by complete Freund’s adjuvant (CFA). Water and ethanolic extracts were characterized using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS), Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The polyphenol-rich extracts were administered in three different concentrations for 30 days. Pain threshold, thermal hyperalgesia, edema, and serum biomarkers specific to inflammatory processes or oxidative stress were evaluated. Both extracts were rich in polyphenolic compounds, mainly flavan-3-ols, proanthocyanidins, and flavone glycosides, which had important in vitro antioxidant capacity. DC fruit extracts administration had the maximum antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects after one day since the CFA injection and showed promising results for long-term use as well. The measurement of pro-inflammatory cytokines, cortisol, and oxidative stress parameters showed that DC extracts significantly reduced these parameters, being dose and extract-type dependent. These results showed potential anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antioxidative properties and revealed the necessity of using a standardized polyphenolic DC extract to avoid result variability. 相似文献
The process of shrinkage of calcium silicate hydrate was investigated by dilatometry up to 350 °C. The properties of this material are based on the formation of C–S–H phases during the reaction at temperatures between 180 and 205 °C and water vapor pressure lower than 16 bars. The main C–S–H phases are 11.3 Å tobermorite and xonotlite. 11.3 Å tobermorite converts to 9.3 Å tobermorite on air at temperatures around 300 °C. The hydrosilicate materials were prepared from quicklime and finely ground sand with different CaO/SiO2 ratios under different hydrothermal conditions. The reaction time was 24 h. Materials based on xonotlite and tobermorite were produced, and the calcium silicate phases were characterized by XRD and TG/DTA methods. Dilatometry measurements were used to study the effect of heating conditions on sample shrinkage. Dehydration of hydrated calcium silicate minerals occurred during heating. The results show that sample shrinkage is dependent on the type and amount of C–S–H phases, the amount of bound water and formation of 9.3 Å tobermorite. All samples showed shrinkage after heating up to 350 °C, but this change was not irreversible for all samples after cooling to room temperature.
We show that the four studied 4-hydrindenones (with or without a methyl substituant at C3 or C7a) give by hydrogenation on Raney nickel or on Pd/C, in various solvants, the cis 4-hydrindanones, by a kinetically controlled process. During the hydrogenation, the double bond can migrate only in the positions conjugated to the carbonyl group. In contrast, when the carbonyle is protected as a dioxolanne, the double bond is free to migrate around the five membered ring. In spite of this mobility the optical purity of the saturated dioxolannes formed is high. In the case of the (+)3-methyl Δ3(3a) 4-hydrindenone, the enantiomeric hydrindanones obtained by direct hydrogenation or with isomerization of the double bond are not the same. Therefore, the optical purity of the product is low, but its value allows an estimation of the relative importance of the two reaction pathways. 相似文献
Hydroboration of β-acetylenic alcohols followed by NaOH/H2O2 oxidation leads to hemiacetals of γ-aldols which are easily dehydrated to 2,3-dihydrofuran compounds. The reaction gives good yields with hindered alcohols and its stereochemistry may be controlled during the organometallic synthesis of the starting alcohol. 相似文献
A series of neutral mononuclear lanthanide complexes [Ln(HL)2(NO3)3] (Ln = La, Ce, Nd, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho) with rigid bidentate ligand, HL (4′-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)biphenyl-4-carboxylic acid) were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. The coordination compounds have been characterized by infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, powder X-ray diffraction and elemental analysis. According to X-ray diffraction, all the complexes are a series of isostructural compounds crystallized in the P2/n monoclinic space group. Additionally, solid-state luminescence measurements of all complexes show that [Eu(HL)2(NO3)3] complex displays the characteristic emission peaks of Eu(III) ion at 593, 597, 615, and 651 nm. 相似文献
