Using the helium nanodroplet isolation setup at the ultrabright free‐electron laser source FELIX in Nijmegen (BoHeNDI@FELIX), the intermolecular modes of water dimer in the frequency region from 70 to 550 cm?1 were recorded. Observed bands were assigned to donor torsion, acceptor wag, acceptor twist, intermolecular stretch, donor torsion overtone, and in‐plane and out‐of‐plane librational modes. This experimental data set provides a sensitive test for state‐of‐the‐art water potentials and dipole moment surfaces. Theoretical calculations of the IR spectrum are presented using high‐level quantum and approximate quasiclassical molecular dynamics approaches. These calculations use the full‐dimensional ab initio WHHB potential and dipole moment surfaces. Based on the experimental data, a considerable increase of the acceptor switch and a bifurcation tunneling splitting in the librational mode is deduced, which is a consequence of the effective decrease in the tunneling barrier. 相似文献

We perform one- and two-photon high resolution spectroscopy on ultracold samples of RbCs Feshbach molecules with the aim to identify a suitable route for efficient ground-state transfer in the quantum-gas regime to produce quantum gases of dipolar RbCs ground-state molecules. One-photon loss spectroscopy allows us to probe deeply bound rovibrational levels of the mixed excited (A(1)Σ(+)-b(3)Π)0(+) molecular states. Two-photon dark state spectroscopy connects the initial Feshbach state to the rovibronic ground state. We determine the binding energy of the lowest rovibrational level |v' = 0, J' = 0> of the X(1)Σ(+) ground state to be D = 3811.5755(16) cm(-1), a 300-fold improvement in accuracy with respect to previous data. We are now in the position to perform stimulated two-photon Raman transfer to the rovibronic ground state. 相似文献

The interstellar candidate phosphorus mononitride PN, a metastable species, was generated through high-vacuum flash pyrolysis of (o-phenyldioxyl)phosphinoazide in cryogenic matrices. Although the PN stretching band was not directly detected because of its low infrared intensity and possible overlaps with other strong bands, o-benzoquinone, carbon monoxide, and cyclopentadienone as additional fragmentation products were clearly identified. Moreover, an elusive o-benzoquinone-PN complex formed when (o-phenyldioxyl)phosphinoazide was exposed to UV irradiation at λ=254 nm. Its recombination to (o-phenyldioxyl)-λ5-phosphinonitrile was observed upon irradiation with the light at λ=523 nm, which demonstrates for the first time the reactivity of PN towards an organic molecule. Energy profile computations at the B3LYP/def2-TZVP density functional theory level reveal a concerted mechanism. To provide further evidence, UV/Vis spectra of the precursor and the irradiation products were recorded and agree well with time-dependent DFT computations. 相似文献
