Six coordination compounds: [Li(H2O)4]+·hmta·Cl?, [Li(H2O)4]+·hmta·I?, [Na(H2O)4(hmta)] 2+2 ·2H2O·2Br?, [Na(H2O)4(hmta)] 2+2 ·2H2O·2I?, [K(H2O)(hmta)I] n and [Rb(H2O)(hmta)I] n , have been synthesized and characterised by IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry coupled with differential thermal analysis, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. Both the sodium compounds are isostructural in a solid state, an isostructurality is also observed between compounds containing potassium and rubidium iodides. The sodium compounds exist as dimers (dinuclear core of the complex ion is created by two sodium cations and two water molecules). The molecules of potassium and rubidium compounds are assembled to the two dimensional hybrid nets. The each potentially multifunctional ligand (the hmta) exists in the outer coordination sphere in lithium compounds, acts in a monodentate mode in sodium compounds and in bidentate-bridging modes in potassium and rubidium compounds. The lithium ions are four coordinated, and the sodium, potassium and rubidium ions are six coordinated. Thermal analyses show that the investigated compounds decompose gradually with the formation of alkali metal halides which, during the further heating, are totally removed or they undergo partial decomposition to oxides.

Single crystals of bis(N-benzylpyridozaldiminato) Cu(II) were studied by ESR in three perpendicula planes at 300 K and 9.4 GHz. Only one exchange—narrowed line was observed for the two magnetically inequivalent copper ions in the monoclinic symmetry lattice with space group P21/a and elementary cell parameters a = 9.561(9), B = 16.605(8), C = 17.561(2) Å and β = 104(1°). Each ligand is bidentate via the phenolic oxygen and the imino nitrogen atoms, leading to tetrahedrally distorted square planar environment around the copper atom. The ESR linewidth remained Lorentzian for all orientations considered. The components of the gxx = 2.043(4), gyy = 2.064(4), gzz = 2.259(4). The linewidth anisotropy was analyzed in terms of dipole-dipole interactions, magnetic inequivalence of molecules and hyperfine interactions.  相似文献

 B3LYP calculations in conjunction with natural bond orbital population analysis have been performed for a previtamin D model and corresponding transition structures for the [1,7]-hydrogen migration. In addition the 19,19-difluoro, 19-methoxy and 19-fluoro substituted analogs were investigated. The calculated activation barriers decrease in the following order: CHF2>CH3>CH2OCH3 (24.8, 23.5 and 20.1 kcal/mol). This is in qualitative agreement with experiments. It has been suggested that a decrease of the barrier by a 19-methoxy substituent and its increase by a 19,19-difluoro substituent are phenomena of different origin. In the case of 19-methoxy substitution, the effect is due to the charge redistribution in the triene system and the decrease of the C(19)–H bond energy. The effect of two fluorine substituents at C-19 on the activation barrier is suggested to originate from the combination and balance of several factors: electrostatic repulsion between the negative fluorine atom and the π-electron cloud over the conjugated system, an increase of the HOMO–LUMO gap, and geminal difluoro substitution affecting C–F and C–C bond energies. Fifteen essential oils of pharmaceutical grade were fingerprinted by five techniques: TLC, GC, HPLC, attenuated total reflectance FTIR spectroscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Denoising and baseline removal was found to be a crucial step for correct comparative analysis. Standardization of the signal was not necessary in the presented case; however, it should be considered and checked in each case. Due to small variance explained by first two principal components (below 50%) and outlying observations, the main analysis was performed by Euclidean dendrograms. It was found that almost all techniques besides DSC find real chemical similarities; however, DSC can be used as an additional tool. The similarities among the five techniques were also compared and discussed.  相似文献

The reaction of copper(II) nitrate trihydrate and 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole (pybzim) leads to [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)](NO3). The compound has been studied by IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The electronic structure of the [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)]+ cation has been calculated with the density functional theory (DFT) method. The spin-allowed doublet–doublet electronic transitions of [Cu(pybzim)2(NO3)]+ have been calculated with the time-dependent DFT method, and the UV–Vis spectrum of the title compound has been discussed on this basis.  相似文献

The [ReCl3(MeCN)(PPh3)2] complex reacts with bis(pyrazol-1-yl)methane (bpzm) to give [ReCl3(bpzm)(PPh3)]. This compound has been studied by IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy, magnetic measurement and X-ray crystallography. The molecular orbital diagram of [ReCl3(bpzm)(PPh3)] has been calculated with the density functional theory (DFT) method. The spin-allowed triplet–triplet electronic transitions of [ReCl3(bpzm)(PPh3)] have been calculated with the time-dependent DFT method, and the UV–Vis spectrum of the title compound has been discussed on this basis. The magnetic behavior is characteristic of a mononuclear d4 low-spin octahedral Re(III) complex (3T1g ground state) and arises because of the large spin–orbit coupling (ζ = 2500 cm−1), which gives a diamagnetic ground state.  相似文献

Two new square planar ONNO nickel(II) complexes C2_core and C3_core have been synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, and DFT calculations. The experimental results revealed the effect of the length of diamine bridge in the ligand on the behavior of the studied complexes in the reaction with N-heterocyclic aromatic amines, while DFT calculations provided a basis for the rationalization of this observation. The complex with propylenediamine bridge ( C3_core ) readily reacts with pyridine and its derivatives to form high-spin (paramagnetic) complexes with octahedral geometry as characterized by X-ray diffraction; electron-donating substituents on the pyridine ring facilitate the coordination of axial ligands. In contrast, the complex with ethylenediamine bridge ( C2_core) does not undergo such a reaction because of the high deformation energy of the core required for the formation of C2_Py complex.  相似文献
