A method using capillary zone electrophoresis was developed for the simultaneous separation of 14 antiarrhythmic drugs belonging to various classes. The drugs are separated on a fused-silica capillary, 90 cm x 75 microm (72 cm effective length), with phosphate and acetate buffers as background electrolytes and UV detection at 217 nm. The effects of buffer pH, temperature, and applied voltage on the migration of the drugs were studied. The pH was found to be the most significant factor determining effective separation. The antiarrhythmic compounds are completely separated within a relatively short time (< 7 min) by using 70 mM phosphate buffer at pH 7.91, an applied voltage of 28 kV, and a temperature of 32 degrees C. Mexiletine (MEX) and flecainide (FLE) were quantified under conditions of the optimum separation. The calibration graphs were constructed over the concentration range of 4.0-14.0 microg/mL for both drugs with good correlation (r > or = 0.9999). Detection and quantitation limits were found to be 0.5 and 1.5 microg/mL for FLE and 0.7 and 2.1 microg/mL for MEX, respectively. The proposed method was used for the determination of both drugs in their commercial forms with satisfactory precision (relative standard deviations of 0.36-1.21% for FLE and 0.78-1.66% for MEX) and accuracy (relative standard errors of 0.13-1.17% for FLE and 0.35-1.18% for MEX).  相似文献

A series of diradical containing salts CxF2x(CNSSS)2(**2+0(AsF6-)2 {x = 2, 1[AsF6]2; x = 3, 3[AsF6]2; x = 4, 2[AsF6]2} have been prepared. 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2 were fully characterized by X-ray, variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility, and solid-state EPR measurements, further allowing us to extend the number of examples of the family of rare 7pi RCNSSS(*+) radical cations. 1[AsF6]2: a = 6.5314(7) A, b = 7.5658(9) A, c = 9.6048(11) A, alpha = 100.962(2) degrees , beta = 96.885(2) degrees , gamma = 107.436(2) degrees , triclinic, space group P, Z = 1, T = 173 K. 2[AsF6]2: a = 10.6398(16) A, b = 7.9680(11) A, c = 12.7468(19) A, beta = 99.758(2) degrees , monoclinic, space group P21/c, Z = 2, T = 173 K. In the solid-state, CxF2x(CNSSS)2(**2+) (x = 2, 4) formed one-dimensional polymeric chains of dications containing discrete centrosymmetric radical pairs in which radicals were linked by four centered two-electron pi*-pi* bonds [12+, d(S...S) = 3.455(1) A; 22+, d(S...S) = 3.306(2) A]. The exchange interactions in these bonds were determined to be -500 +/- 30 and -900 +/- 90 cm-1, by variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements, respectively, providing rare experimental data on the singlet-triplet gaps in the field of thiazyl radicals. For 2[AsF6]2, the thermally excited triplet state was unambiguously characterized by EPR techniques [/D/ = 0.0254(8) cm(-1), /E/ = 0.0013(8) cm(-1)]. These experimental data implied a weakly associated nature of the radical moieties contained in the solids 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2. Computational analysis of the dimerization process is presented, and we show that the 2c 4 electron pi*-pi* bonds in 1[AsF6]2 and 2[AsF6]2 have ca. 50% and 40% diradical character, respectively. In contrast, 3[AsF6]2.SO2, containing diradical C3F6(CNSSS)2(**2+) with an odd number of CF2 spacers, showed magnetic behavior that was consistent with the presence of monomeric radical centers in the solid state.  相似文献

The processes employing ionic liquids to obtain enantiomers of secondary alcohols have become sustainable. Furthermore, physico-chemical properties of ionic liquids opened new possibilities to design “solvent free” processes for the resolution of racemic secondary alcohols. Results from several commonly used approximate methods of evaluating electrostatic interactions have been compared to the rigorous, nonexpanded electrostatic energies at both uncorrelated and correlated levels of theory. We examined a number of energy profiles for both hydrogen bonded and stacked configurations of the nucleic acid base pairs. We found that the penetration effects play an extremely important role and the expanded electrostatic energies are significantly underestimated with respect to the ab initio values. Apart from the inability to reproduce the magnitudes of the ab initio electrostatic energy, there are other problems with the available approximate electrostatic models. For example, the distributed multipole analysis, one of the most advanced methods, is extremely sensitive to the basis set and level of theory used to evaluate the multipole moments. Detailed ab initio results are provided that other researchers could use to test their approximate models.  相似文献

The strategy to identify cadmium deactivation mechanism in Arabidopsis thaliana has been developed using selective and sensitive hyphenated techniques. Cadmium concentrations, in main parts of the plant, were determined by ICP-MS and total amount was found as 0.43-0.44 μg g−1 in leaves and 3.3-3.4 μg g−1 in roots. Speciation of the metal complexes in cells was investigated by SEC-ICP-MS in order to estimate the accumulation process. Phytochelatins, desglycyl-phytochelatins and phytochelatins homologues lacking the N-terminal γ-linked glutamic acid were extracted from plant and were identified by RPLC-ESI-MS. Two-dimensional chromatography allowed to link the metal complexes separated by SEC with isoforms of phytochelatins analyzed by high resolution RPLC and confirm their significant responsibility for metal accumulation. The potential of the cadmium complexes speciation indicates that obtained results could be reliable source of knowledge to confirm the information coming from the well-known genomic sequence of Arabidopsis and to estimate the role of γ-glutamyl transpeptidase in metabolism of glutathione.  相似文献

In the current study a method of isotachophoretic separation of selected carboxylic acids was developed. The method was used for the determination of carboxylated oligo(ethylene glycol)s and their degradation products in biodegradation tests of PEG 250 DA [a mixture of dicarboxylated oligo(ethylene glycol)s]. Two tests were performed in the studies: the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) screening test and the river water die-away test. Both the biodegradation tests proved relatively fast biodegradation of the studied compounds. In the OECD screening test the biodegradation was faster than in the river water die-away test which can be ascribed to a higher concentration of bacteria in the biodegradation liquor. The minimal sample pretreatment and relatively low cost of analysis by the isotachophoretic method used here make it a good alternative to existing methods of carboxylic acids analysis.  相似文献

In a previous work, we proposed an improvement of the Derjaguin-Broekhoff-de Boer (DBdB) theory for capillary condensation/evaporation in open-ended cylindrical mesopores. In this paper, we report a further extension of this approach to the capillary condensation/evaporation of nitrogen in siliceous spherical cavities. The main idea of this improvement is to employ the Gibbs-Tolman-Koenig-Buff equation to predict the variation of the surface tension in spherical mesopores. In addition, the statistical film thickness (the so-called t-curve), which is evaluated accurately on the basis of adsorption isotherms measured for MCM-41 materials, is used instead of the originally proposed t-curve to take into account the excess chemical potential due to the surface forces. It is shown that the aforementioned modifications of the original DBdB theory that was refined by Ravikovitch and Neimark have significant implications for the pore size analysis of cagelike mesoporous silicas. To verify the proposed improvement of the DBdB pore size analysis (IDBdB), two series of FDU-1 samples, which are well-defined cagelike mesoporous materials (composed of siliceous spherical cavities interconnected by short necks), were used for the evaluation of the pore size distributions (PSDs). The correlation between the spinodal condensation point in the spherical pores predicted by the nonlocal density functional theory (NDFT) developed by Ravikovitch and Neimark and that predicted by the IDBdB theory is very good in the whole range of mesopores. This feature is mirrored to the realistic PSD characterized by the bimodal structure of pores computed from the IDBdB theory. As in the case of open-ended cylindrical pores, the improvement of the classical DBdB theory preserves its simplicity and simultaneously ensures a significant improvement of the pore size analysis, which is confirmed by the independent estimation of the average pore size by the NDFT and the powder X-ray diffraction method.  相似文献

Mathematical assessment of homogenisation progress of the granular material mixing process is presented. The mixing process was realised using a vessel in the form of two partly penetrating horizontal cylinders equipped with two multi-ribbon agitators. The experimental system consisted of three sets of particles of different colour. Random states of the mixed granular material were characterised by the sampling procedure at different moments of the mixing process. Informational entropy as well as the flow of quantum of information were applied to describe the progress of the homogenisation process. Analysis of this process was based on experimental investigations in the form of informational entropy patterns and described by means of the average informational entropy or the quantum of information. The novel catalytic system, composed of a ruthenium alkylidene containing a surfactant fragment in the catalysts molecule, is reported.
