Free base and cobalt(II) complexes of six meso-tetraphenylporphyrinoids containing nonpyrrolic heterocycles and of three meso-thienylporphyrins were investigated using electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS). Their fragmentation was studied in a quadrupole ion trap as a function of the porphyrinoid macrocycle structure and compared with the fragmentation behavior of the benchmark compound meso-tetraphenylporphyrin. In situ oxidation of the neutral cobalt(II) complexes under ESI conditions produced singly charged cobalt(III) porphyrinoid ions; the free bases were ionized by protonation. For the porphyrinoids with an intact porphyrin core, the major fragmentation pathways observed were the losses of the meso-substituent (for meso-phenyl groups) and characteristic fragmentations of one or more meso-substituents (for the meso-thienyl group). Complex fragmentation pathways were observed for porphyrinoids with modifications to the porphyrin core but chemically reasonable structures could be assigned to most fragments, thus delineating general patterns for the behavior of pyrrole-modified porphyrins under CID conditions.

Fluoropolymer films have been deposited in the glow and afterglow regions of radio frequency glow discharges fed with C2F6−H2 mixtures. Structure, growth rate, composition, and wettability of the films have been investigated by means of atomic force microscopy, electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis, secondary ion mass spectrometry, and water contact angle measurements.125I labeled baboon fibrinogen in baboon plasma has been used to study the adsorption of the protein onto the films. Protein retention, i.e., the binding affinity of the adsorbed protein, has been examined by elution with a sodium dodecyl sulfate solution. Adsorption and retention of fibrinogen were correlated using multivariate statistical methods with the wettability, the degree of film fluorination, and the CF x (1≤x≤3) group distribution of the coatings. This correlation identified the influence of each variable on the adsorption and retention of fibrinogen onto these substrates. These variables or surface properties can be easily balanced by properly tuning the experimental conditions of the glow discharge deposition process.  相似文献

The preparations and spectroscopic characteristics are reported of a series of (trimethylgermyl)methyl- and (trimethylstannyl)methylplatinum(II) complexes with diene and P-donor ancillary ligands, cis-Pt(CH2GeMe3)2L2 (L = PPh3 or PPh2Me; L2 = dppe or cod) and cis-Pt(CH2SnMe3)2L2 (L = PPh3; L2 =cod). Thermolysis of toluene solutions of cis-Pt(CH2GeMe3)2(PPh3)2 leads to cis-Pt(Me)(CH2GeMe2CH2GeMe3)(PPh3)2 via β-alkyl migration, after (non-rate-limiting) phosphine dissociation. Estimated activation parameters (ΔH298 K = 126 ± 3 kJ mol−1, ΔS = + 17 ± 7 J mol−1 K−1 and hence Δ298 K = 121 ± 5 kJ mol−1) suggest that this system is more migration labile than its silicon analogue, primarily as a result of a lower activation enthalpy. While cis-Pt(CH2GeMe3)2(PPh2Me)2 reacts similarly but less readily, Pt(CH2GeMe3)2(dppe)2 is inert at operable temperatures. Thermolysis of Pt(CH2GeMe3)2(cod) generates 1,1,3,3,-tetramethyldi-1,3-germacyclobutane as the major organogermanium product, while from cis-Pt(CH2SnMe3)2(PPh3)2, 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldi-1,3-stannacyclobutane predominates. Slightly cross-linked polyelectrolytes absorb oppositely charged surfactants in aqueous media. Transfer of amphiphilic ions from solution into the swollen network proceeds as a frontal heterogeneous cooperative reaction causing a collapse of the original polyelectrolyte gel. Small and wide angle X-ray diffraction data show that electrostatic complex formed as a result of the reaction consists of lamellar type surfactant micelles embedded in a polyelectrolyte network. It is also shown that such complexes contain equimolar amount of surfactant ions and ionized polyelectrolyte units paired with amphiphil head groups. In other words a charged network is not able to bind surplus oppositely charged surfactant ions. However, it is still able to solubilize a substantial amount of a nonionized surfactant. Chemical structure of surfactants strongly affect internal structure of lamellae and stability of the complexes.  相似文献

Thermal cyclizations of appropriate dienes, enynes and related unsaturated systems, some of them carried out on an industrial scale, demonstrate increasingly the preparative power of the intramolecular ene reaction. A variety of substituted, fused and bridged ring systems, including natural products, are thus easily accessible in a regio- and stereo-selective manner. Nickel can be separated from Zn, Co, Cu(II), Mn(II), Fe(III), U(VI) and other elements which readily form chloro complex ions, by eluting them with 0.5 M HCl/93% acetone from AG50W-X4 resin. Nickel is then eluted selectivity with 0.5 M HCl/95% acetone containing 0.1 M dimethylglyoxime, while the alkali and alkaline-earth elements, Al, Ti(IV), Sc, Y, La, lanthanides, Zr, Hf and Th are still retained. Solid-state structures have been determined for cis- and trans-1-cyclohexyl-2-phenyl-3-(p-toluyl)aziridines using single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The cis isomer crystallizes in the centrosymmetric monoclinic space group P21/c (No. 14), with a = 18.669(3)Å, b = 5.709(1)Å, c = 17.412(2)Å, β = 96.29(1)° and Z = 4; the trans isomer crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pna21 (No. 33), with a = 17.089(2)Å, b = 18.729(3)Å, c = 5.749(1)Å and Z = 4. Full-matrix least-squares refinement of the structural parameters led to the following final agreement factors: R1 (unweighted, based on F) = 0.040 and R2 (weighted, based on F) = 0.054 for the 2592 independent reflections of the cis isomer having 2θMoK¯α <55° and I>3σ1, and R1 = 0.033 and R2 = 0.031 for the 1504 independent reflections of the trans isomer having 2θMoK¯α <55° and I>3σ1. The statistically significant differences that exist between the two isomers for two bond lengths and ten bond angles (p < 0.05) appear to be the direct result of the p-toluyl group orientation with respect to the cyclohexyl and phenyl substituents. In the cis isomer it is anti with respect to the N-cyclohexyl group and cis with respect to the phenyl group, whereas in the trans isomer it is syn with respect to the N-cyclohexyl and trans with respect to the phenyl group. Three-ring to carbonyl hyperconjugation is correlated with stereoelectronic interactions in the trans isomer. Bonding, determined by X-ray and nmr studies, is discussed for the three-membered aziridine ring proper; while bonding, determined by X-ray studies, is discussed for substituents of the aziridine ring. These aziridinyl ketone compounds are of importance as potential mammalian DNA alkylating anti-tumor agents in solid-state solid-state systems. To date only a trans isomer has demonstrated this biological activity in tumor-bearing rats.  相似文献
