LaPO4 single crystals lightly doped with Er3+, and codoped with Er3+ and Yb3+ have been grown by spontaneous nucleation in a lead phosphate flux. Absorption and luminescence spectra have been measured in the visible and near-IR regions and the excited state dynamics has been studied upon pulsed laser excitation. The obtained results have allowed the evaluation of the effective emission cross-sections around 1.5 μm, that have been found to be similar to important oxide laser crystals doped with Er3+. Efficient visible upconversion has been observed upon excitation at 980 nm in the codoped crystals. This behaviour is attributed to Yb3+-Er3+ energy transfer processes. 相似文献

The complex of Fe(II) ions of general formula [Fe L 2](BF4)2 with triphenylamine-hydrazone ligand L has been synthesized and characterized. Oxidative electropolymerization of the complex proceeded smoothly on the working electrode producing a homogenous thin film of metallopolymer. The film thickness and morphology of the layer was investigated by microscopy techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy, and the composition of the film was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis. It was found that fifty successive oxidation/reduction cycles resulted in a 120 nm thick film on the electrode surface. The metallopolymer was also characterized using cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemical methods. The film was found to change its color from yellow to green-blue, exhibit high change in transmittance of 60 % at 770 nm, and possess good electrochemical stability during 375 cycles of switching of the potential between −0.1 V and +1.5 V, owing to the presence of metal ions that link two ligand molecules resulting in formation of highly cross-linked film. The switching times (coloration and bleaching) were calculated to be 34.2 s and 7.3 s, respectively. Coloration efficiency of the formed film of polymeric complex was found to be 144 cm2 C−1. 相似文献

The paper approaches in an abstract way the spectral theory of operators in abstract interpolation spaces. We introduce entropy numbers and spectral moduli of operators, and prove a relationship between them and eigenvalues of operators. We also investigate interpolation variants of the moduli, and offer a contribution to the theory of eigenvalues of operators. Specifically, we prove an interpolation version of the celebrated Carl–Triebel eigenvalue inequality. Based on these results we are able to prove interpolation estimates for single eigenvalues as well as for geometric means of absolute values of the first n eigenvalues of operators. In particular, some of these estimates may be regarded as generalizations of the classical spectral radius formula. We give applications of our results to the study of interpolation estimates of entropy numbers as well as of the essential spectral radius of operators in interpolation spaces. 相似文献

Summary: In the present work, various surface modifications have been applied to titanium surface. The aim of the modifications was to improve cell adhesion and to determine their influence on the properties of titanium surface. The unmodified and modified surfaces were observed using SEM. Subtle changes in modified surface layer of titanium samples were examined using the Auger Electron Microanalysis and Photoelectron Spectroscopy. The properties of surfaces were evaluated by contact angle and roughness measurements. The results revealed large differences in morphology of Ti modified with different procedures whereas only minor differences in the chemistry of the surfaces were detected. Preliminary quantitative measurements (cell number, viability and differentiation) of the MG 63 osteoblast-like cells in the direct contact with the surface of the investigated materials show that both the not pre-treated titanium surface and the surfaces modified by the methods used in the this work are all well tolerated by the living cells. Within the experimental scatter all the surfaces provided good substrate for proliferation and growth of the cells. 相似文献

We formulate some special conditions for the integrable functions and moduli of continuity. We give the results on rate of approximation of such functions by matrix means of their Fourier series, where the entries of the rows of the matrix generate the sequences belonging to the classes MRBVS and MHBVS, We also present some results on norm approximation for functions from the generalized integral Lipschitz classes. 相似文献
