La2O(CN2)2 was synthesized from a 1:1:2 molar reaction mixture of LaCl3, LaOCl, and Li2(CN2) at 650 °C. Well developed single crystals were grown from a LiCl‐KCl flux. The crystal structure was refined as monoclinic (space group C2/c, Z = 2, a = 13.530(2) Å, b = 6.250(1) Å, c = 6.1017(9) Å, β = 104.81(2)°) from single crystal X‐ray diffraction data. The La3+ and (CN2)2— ions in the crystal structure of La2O(CN2)2 can be compared to Fe3+ and S22— ions in the cubic pyrite structure, being arranged like in a distorted NaCl type structure with their centers of gravity. In addition, the O2— ions in La2O(CN2)2 are occupying 1/4 of the tetrahedral voids formed by the arrangement of metal ions. 相似文献

A detailed investigation on the effect of solvent polarity, temperature, and microwave irradiation on periselectivity in cycloaddition reactions of pentafulvenes with 3-oxidopyrylium betaine is described. The base catalyzed generation of 3-oxidopyrylium betaine in CHCl3 resulted in the exclusive formation of [6+3] adducts. With increase in solvent polarity and temperature, mixtures of [6+3] and [3+2] adducts were formed, where as under microwave irradiation, [3+2] adducts were formed exclusively. Herein we describe an efficient one pot strategy toward highly functionalized isoquinolone fused azabicycles having great synthetic potential via C–H activation of N-pivaloyloxy benzamides under very mild conditions. The reaction is accomplished at room temperature within one hour in good to excellent yields and is found to be compatible with a range of diazabicyclic olefins and benzamides. The present strategy offers an easy route for the synthesis of biologically relevant compounds which possess multiple points for divergent synthesis. A popular strategy in the de novo design of stable β‐sheet structures for various biomedical applications is the incorporation of aromatic pairs at the non‐hydrogen‐bonding (NHB) position. However, it is important to explicitly understand how aryl pair packing at the NHB region is coordinated with backbone structural rearrangements, and to delineate the benefits and drawbacks associated with stereopositional choice of dissimilar aromatic pairs. Here, we probe the consequences of flipped Trp/Tyr pairs by using engineered permutants at the NHB position of dodecapeptide β‐hairpins, proximal and distal to the turn. Extensive conformational analysis of these peptides using NMR and CD spectroscopy reveal that a classic Edge‐to‐Face and Face‐to‐Edge geometry at the proximal and distal aromatic pairs, respectively, in YW‐WY, is the most stabilizing. Such a preferred packing geometry in YW‐WY results in a highly twisted β‐sheet backbone, with Trp always providing a ‘Face’ orientation to its dissimilar aromatic partner Tyr. Flipping the proximal and/or distal aromatic pair distorts the ideal T‐shaped geometry, and results in alternate aryl arrangements that can adversely affect strand twist and β‐sheet stability. Our study reveals the existence of a strong stereopositional influence on the packing of dissimilar aromatic pairs. Our findings highlight the importance of modeling physical interaction forces while designing protein and peptide structures for functional applications. 相似文献

The current study describes the synthesis, electrochemical, computational, and photochemical properties of octa (3-hydroxypropylthio) substituted cobalt (II) ( 4 ), copper (II) ( 5 ), nickel (II) ( 6 ) and zinc(II) ( 7 ) phthalocyanine derivatives. These novel compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,1H,13C NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and MS. The redox behaviors of these metallo-phthalocyanines were investigated by the cyclic voltammetric method. The optimized molecular structure and gauge-including atomic orbital (GIAO)1H and13C NMR chemical shift values of these phthalocyanines in the ground state had been calculated by using B3LYP/6–31G(d,p) basis set. The outcomes of the optimized molecular structure were given and compared with the experimental NMR values. The photochemical properties including photodegradation and singlet oxygen generation of zinc(II) phthalocyanine were studied in DMSO solution for the determination of its photosensitizer behaviors. 相似文献
