Adsorption equilibria and dynamics ofn-butane on two activated carbon samples prepared from the physical activation of nutshell are studied in this paper. The micropore size distribution (MPSD) is considered as the main source of solid heterogeneity. Lennard-Jones' potential theory and Dubinin's theory (TVFM) are used in the equilibria data to derive the MPSD, which is well fitted by a Gamma distribution function. The adsorption energy distribution derived from the MPSD is very asymmetric for both the samples studied, and this energy distribution used in the HMSD/HMSMD kinetics models for the study of adsorption dynamics ofn-butane.  相似文献

Manganese(Ⅲ) meso-tetraphenylporphyrin acetate [Mn(TPP)OAc] served as an effective catalyst for the oxidative decarboxylation of carboxylic acids with (diacetoxyiodo)benzene [PhI(OAc)2] in CH2CI2-H2O(95:5, volume ratio). The aryl substituted acetic acids are more reactive than the less electron rich linear carboxylic acids in the presence of catalyst Mn(TPP)OAc. In the former case, the formation of carbonyl products was complete within just a few minutes with 〉97% selectivities, and no further oxidation of the produced aldehydes was achieved under these catalytic conditions. This method provides a benign procedure owing to the utilization of low toxic(diacetoxyiodo) benzene, biologically relevant manganese porphyrins, and carboxylic acids.  相似文献

Multilayer of TiO2 and TiO2:SiO2 thin films were grown on a glass substrate by sol?Cgel processes, followed by high temperature treatment at 500?°C. The fine grained TiO2 films controlled by SiO2 dopant showed very good wear resistance and endurance life. Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy was used to indicate the elements in the films. X-ray diffraction analyses indicated that TiO2 and TiO2:SiO2 film contain only anatase phase. The morphologies of the original and worn surfaces of the samples were analyzed by means of scanning tunneling microscope and scanning electron microscopy. The tribological properties of TiO2 and TiO2:SiO2 thin films sliding against AISI52100 steel pin were evaluated on a pin on disk friction and wear tester. The results showed that 25-layer TiO2:SiO2 films are superior in reducing friction and resisting wear compared with the glass substrate.  相似文献

Mesoporous activated carbons were prepared from coconut shell by the combination of chemical and physical activation methods. Zinc chloride and CO2 were used as chemical and physical agents, respectively. Optimum parameters were obtained from investigating the effect of various factors at different levels on the methane storage of wet activated carbons using the Taguchi experimental design method. Soaking time, carbonization temperature, and carbonization time were found as effective parameters in the methane storage. Finally, after achieving optimum levels for each factors based on the enhancement of methane storage, a confirmation experiment was conducted. Methane uptakes of the activated carbons were measured at temperature of 2?°C up to the pressure of 80 bar and it turned out that the maximum amount of methane storage (241?V/V) had a good agreement with the predicted result from the Taguchi method.  相似文献
