A complete phenomenological analysis of the applications of Critical Reggeon Field Theory at collider energies is presented. It includes total as well as different elastic cross sections, and the ratio real to imaginary part of the amplitude. Finite energy corrections have been taken into account to improve the agreement with the available SPS data. Predictions for the TEVATRON and future colliders at \(\sqrt s = 2\) , 10, 20, and 40 TeV are also presented. Some results concerning the perturbative version of Reggeon Field Theory are included. The general conclusion of the study is that SPS energies are still far from the truly asymptotic regime.  相似文献

Using solution strontium and pH as independent variables, the metastable equilibrium solubility (MES) behavior of two carbonated apatite (CAP) samples has been examined, a high-crystallinity CAP (properties expected to be similar to dental enamel) and a low-crystallinity CAP (properties expected to be similar to bone mineral). CAP samples were prepared by precipitation/digestion: (CAP A: high-crystallinity, 1.3 wt% CO3, synthesized at 85 degrees C; CAP B: low-crystallinity, 6.4 wt% CO3, synthesized at 50 degrees C). Baseline MES distributions were determined in a series of 0.1 M acetate buffers containing only calcium and phosphate (no strontium) over a broad range of solution conditions. To assess the influence of strontium, MES profiles were determined in a similar fashion with 20, 40, 60, and 80% of the solution calcium being replaced on an equal molar basis by solution strontium. To determine the correct function governing CAP dissolution, ion activity products (IAPs) were calculated from the compositions of buffer solutions based on the hydroxyapatite template (Ca(10-n)Sr(n)(PO4)6(OH)2 (n = 0-10)) and the calcium/hydroxide deficient hydroxyapatite template (Ca(9-n)Sr(n)(HPO4)(PO4)5OH (n = 0-9)). Findings: (a) for CAP A, at high solution strontium/calcium ratios, the MES profiles were essentially superimposable when the solution IAPs were calculated using the stoichiometry of Ca6Sr4(PO4)6(OH)2 and for CAP B by a stoichiometry of Ca7Sr2(HPO4)(PO4)5OH; (b) for CAP A, at low strontium/calcium ratios, the stoichiometry yielding MES data superpositioning was found to be that of hydroxyapatite and for CAP B, that of calcium/hydroxide deficient hydroxyapatite. When other stoichiometries were assumed, good superpositioning of the data was not possible.  相似文献

We present new experimental data on the energies and quantum defects of the highly excited states in mercury using the laser optogalvanic detection technique in conjunction with a RF discharge cell. The 6snp 3P2 (12 ≤ n ≤ 25) and 6snf 3F4 (9 ≤ n ≤ 52) Rydberg series have been observed via two photon excitation from the 6s6p 3P2 intermediate state, which is collisionally populated in the RF discharge. Three lines corresponding to transitions from the 6s6p 3P0 metastable state to 6s8p 3P0,2 and 6s5f 3F2 states are also located. The 6snf 3F4 Rydberg series to such high n-values are reported for the first time.  相似文献

The ionic species present in the laser ablated plume from the surface of the Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3Oysuperconducting target have been investigated using a non-commercial laboratory developed linear time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. The recorded TOF mass spectra reveal the presence of all the atomic species of the target material, monoxide and cluster ions. The occurrence of clusters in the mass spectra is the evidence of aggregation processes at higher laser fluence. The dependence of the ionic yield of the species has been studied using the fundamental (1064 nm), second harmonic (532 nm) and fourth harmonic (266 nm) of a Nd:YAG laser. The maximum ionization of the species present in the plume is observed at 266 nm even at lower laser fluence. The effect of the laser fluence on the total and individual ionic yields of the ablated species is also presented.  相似文献

The Al–C–N films are deposited on Si substrates by using a dense plasma focus(DPF) device with aluminum fitted central electrode(anode) and by operating the device with CH_4/N_2 gas admixture ratio of 1:1. XRD results verify the crystalline Al N(111) and Al_3CON(110) phase formation of the films deposited using multiple shots. The elemental compositions as well as chemical states of the deposited Al–C–N films are studied using XPS analysis, which affirm Al–N, C–C, and C–N bonding. The FESEM analysis reveals that the deposited films are composed of nanoparticles and nanoparticle agglomerates. The size of the agglomerates increases at a higher number of focus deposition shots for multiple shot depositions. Nanoindentation results reveal the variation in mechanical properties(nanohardness and elastic modulus)of Al–C–N films deposited with multiple shots. The highest values of nanohardness and elastic modulus are found to be about 11 and 185 GPa, respectively, for the film deposited with 30 focus deposition shots. The mechanical properties of the films deposited using multiple shots are related to the Al content and C–N bonding.  相似文献

An extension of the critical Reggeon Field Theory that includes both the Pomeron and thef-Reggeon fields is constructed. The quantum numbers of thef-Reggeon allows specific Reggeon-Pomeron couplings that have not been considered previously in standard works on secondary trajectories. We show the existence of a single fully stable fixed point among a total of 11 points. Unfortunately this point does not satisfy the factorization requirements imposed by thef-dominance of the Pomeron hypothesis and, in consequence, the critical Pomeron can not bef-dominated in aP+f model. We have also evaluated the value of the intercept of the bare critical Pomeron, using the method of integral representations of the propagators. The value obtained is clearly higher than the one previously obtained without thef-Pomeron interplay. With an adequate choice of the values of the bare coupling constants its value is in good agreement with the phenomenological one.  相似文献

Free amino acids were quantitatively determined in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma samples from patients with aseptic meningitis by a newly developed high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method. The method of analysis was based on precolumn derivatization of orthophthaladehyde in the presence of 2-mercaptoethanol and detection was made at Eex = 340 nm and Eem = 450 nm. The method was sensitive and the limit for detection was less than 1 pmol for most of the amino acids. It took 45 min to separate 26 amino acids with highly reproducible results, giving a coefficient of variance for retention times and integrated areas less than 0.4% and 2%, respectively, after five replicate runs. The results accumulated in 10 patients were compared statistically with 11 age-matched healthy controls. Among the amino acids almost all the neurotransmitter candidates, such as aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, tyrosine, phenylalanine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), were significantly increased in the patients' CSF, whereas arginine and threonine were low. No change was observed in plasma amino acids in patients as compared to healthy controls. The higher levels of most of the neurotransmitters, especially GABA, aspartic acid and glutamic acid, could be used diagnostically in assessing the progression and remission in aseptic meningitis.  相似文献
