Sr2ScAlO5:Eu2+,a red oxide phosphor with a perovskite-type structure,has been synthesized through a solid-state reaction and its luminescence properties have been investigated.An absorption band centering at 450 nm is observed from the diffuse reflection spectra and the excitation spectra,indicating that the phosphor can match perfectly with the blue light of InGaN light-emitting diodes.A broad red emission band at 620 nm is found from the emission spectra,originating from the 4f 6 5d-4f 7 transition of the Eu 2+ ions.The best doping content of Eu in this material is about 5%.Sr2ScAlO5:Eu2+is a highly promising red phosphor for use in white light-emitting diodes. 相似文献

A new method is developed to construct a cochlear transducer function using modulation of the summating potential (SP), a dc component of the electrical response of the cochlea to a sinusoid. It is mathematically shown that the magnitude of the SP is determined by the even-order terms of the power series representing a nonlinear function. The relationship between the SP magnitudes and the second derivative of the transducer function was determined by using a low-frequency bias tone to position a high-frequency probe tone at different places along the cochlear transducer function. Two probe tones (6 kHz and 12 kHz) ranging from 70 to 90 dB SPL and a 25-Hz bias tone at 130 dB SPL were simultaneously presented. Electric responses from the cochlea were recorded by an electrode placed at the round window to obtain the SP magnitudes. The experimental results from eight animals demonstrated that the SP magnitudes as a function of bias levels are essentially proportional to the second derivative of a sigmoidal Boltzmann function. This suggests that the low-frequency modulated SP amplitude can be used to construct a cochlear transducer function. 相似文献

This paper reports that anomalous local order in
liquid and glassy AlFeCe alloy has been detected by x-ray
diffraction measurements. The addition of the element Ce has a great
effect on this local structural order. The element Ce favours
interpenetration of the icosahedra by sharing a common face and
edges. It argues that frustration between this short-range order
and the long-range crystalline order controls the glass-forming
ability of these liquids. The obtained results suggest that a system
having a stronger tendency to show local icosahedral order should be
a better glass-former. This scenario also naturally explains the
close relationship between the local icosahedral order in a liquid,
glass-forming ability, and the nucleation barrier. Such topological
local order has also been analysed directly using the reverse Monte
Carlo method. It also estimated the fraction of local ordered and
disordered structural units in a glassy AlFeCe alloy. 相似文献

medium involving Zn-salt, ammonium sulfate, aqueous ammonia, and thioure. Results on physical and chemical properties of the
grown layers as a function of ammonia concentration are reported. Physical and chemical properties were analyzed using scanning
electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive (EDX), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Rapid growth of nanostructured ZnO
films on fluorine-doped SnO2 (FTO) glass substrates was developed. ZnO films crystallized in a wurtzite hexagonal structure and with a very small quantity
of Zn(OH)2 and ZnS phases were obtained for the ammonia concentration ranging from 0.75 to 2.0 M. Flower-like and columnar nanostrucured
ZnO films were deposited in two ammonia concentration ranges, respectively: one between 0.75 and 1.0 M and the other between
1.4 and 2.0 M. ZnS films were formed with a high ammonia concentration of 3.0 M. The formation mechanisms of ZnO, Zn(OH)2, and ZnS phases were discussed in the CBD process. The developed technique can be used to directly and rapidly grow nanostructured

Holographic volume index gratings with high diffraction efficiency (greater than 80%) are recorded in a thick sample of Disperse Red 1-doped poly(methyl methacrylate) with red light (647 nm), which is far away from the absorption peak (488 nm) of the material. Measurements of photoinduced birefringence and polarization holography recording confirm that the azo-dye reorientation mechanism is responsible for the grating formation. The fast parallel restoration (FPR) scheme is proposed to achieve the fast setup of restoration label switched path (LSP) in the distributed optical networks. The scheme is derived by dividing the whole restoration LSP into several segments of sub-LSP and triggering each sub-LSP along the new route to finish the signaling procedure concurrently, and subsequently merging all sub-LSPs into a whole LSP. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the FPR scheme outperforms the other two typical restoration schemes in terms of connection setup time. 相似文献
