The use of a tunable multimode diode laser system based on correlation spectroscopy and wavelength modulation spectroscopy to measure the concentration of the carbon dioxide in ambient air through the 2 υ1 + 2υ2 + υ3 absorption lines around 1570 nm is reported. The carbon dioxide concentrations are derived from the relationship between the normalized second-harmonic signal peak heights of the measurement and reference signals. The validation of the system is conducted by a set of experiments with controlled carbon dioxide and nitrogen mixtures. The correlation and standard deviation between the measured and actual carbon dioxide concentrations are 0.9973 and 4.03%, respectively, over the tested range. A detection limit of 340 ppm m was achieved using 30 successive measurements during 30 min. All these results demonstrated potential utility of the system for carbon dioxide sensing. 相似文献

A novel shooting method with excellent simple control strategy is developed for solving the failure to convergence of the traditional shooting methods themselves in fiber lasers model. Compared with the published literature, the novel shooting method provides a clear physical understanding method for getting the threshold pump power and the exact results with given random functions in Yb3+-doped fiber lasers and Er3+-doped fiber lasers. Then, the results in Er3+-doped fiber lasers and Yb3+-doped fiber lasers demonstrate that the solutions using the novel shooting method has high accuracy of 10−8 W with several iteration steps, which have extended the applicable range of the end-pumped power even lower than 1 mW pump power. Furthermore, compared with 1480 nm pump for the threshold and slope efficiencies of the Er3+-doped fiber lasers, 978 nm fiber lasers can extend wider scope of application and be pump source in the coming future. Finally, the lower threshold and higher slope efficiency at 975 nm than those of 910 nm pump in Yb3+-doped fiber lasers, 975 nm pump laser provides for broad band excellent cladding pump source. 相似文献

Vanadium dioxide thin films have been fabricated through sputtering vanadium thin films and rapid thermal annealing in oxygen. The microstructure and the metal–insulator transition properties of the vanadium dioxide thin films were investigated by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and a spectrometer. It is found that the preferred orientation of the vanadium dioxide changes from(1ˉ11) to(011) with increasing thickness of the vanadium thin film after rapid thermal annealing. The vanadium dioxide thin films exhibit an obvious metal–insulator transition with increasing temperature, and the phase transition temperature decreases as the film thickness increases. The transition shows hysteretic behaviors, and the hysteresis width decreases as the film thickness increases due to the higher concentration carriers resulted from the uncompleted lattice. The fabrication of vanadium dioxide thin films with higher concentration carriers will facilitate the nature study of the metal–insulator transition. 相似文献

Discovering different types of pattern dynamics and exploring how these dynamics depend or/network topologies are tasks of both great theoretical importance and broad practical significance. In this paper we study the oscillatory behaviors of excitable complex networks (ECNs) and find some interesting dynamic behaviors of ECNs in oscillatory probability, the multiplicity of oscillatory attractors, period distribution, and different types of oscillatory patterns (e.g., periodic, quasiperiodic, and chaotic). In these aspects, we further explore strikingly sharp differences among network dynamics induced by different topologies (random or scale-free topologies) and different interaction structures (symmetric or asymmetric couplings). Transparent Tm^3+/Er^3+/yb^3+ co-doped oxyfluorogermanate glass ceramics containing BaF2 nanocrystals are prepared. Under excitation of a 980-nm laser diode (LD), compared with the glass before heat treatment, the Tm^3+/Er^3+/yb^3+ co-doped oxyfluorogermanate glass ceramics can emit intense blue, green and red up-conversion luminescence and Stark- split peaks; X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) results show that BaF2 nanocrystals with an average diameter of 20 nm are precipitated from the glass matrix. Stark splitting of the up-conversion luminescence peaks in the glass ceramics indicates that Tm^3+, Er^3+ and (or) Yb^3+ ions are incorporated into the BaF2 nanocrystals. The up-conversion luminescence intensities of Tm^3+, Er^3+ and the splitting degree of luminescence peaks in the glass ceramics increase significantly with the increase of heat treat temperature and heat treat time extension.
