A three-dimensional Ising-like model doped with anti-ferromagnetic (AFM) bonds is proposed to investigate the magnetic properties
of a doped triangular spin-chain system by using a Monte-Carlo simulation. The simulated results indicate that a steplike
magnetization behavior is very sensitive to the concentration of AFM bonds. A low concentration of AFM bonds can suppress
the stepwise behavior considerably, in accordance with doping experiments on Ca3Co2O6. The analysis of spin snapshots demonstrates that the AFM bond doping not only breaks the ferromagnetic ordered linear spin
chains along the hexagonal c-axis but also has a great influence upon the spin configuration in the ab-plane.

A metal-metal waveguide quantum cascade laser with an abutted silicon hyperhemispherical lens is demonstrated at ~4.1 THz. The device produced 145 mW of peak pulsed power at 5 K with a wall-plug power efficiency of 0.7%, lasing up to a maximum operating temperature of 160 K. The far-field beam pattern has a full width at half-maximum value of ~4.8 degrees in the H plane. The same device produced ~26 mW of peak power using a Winston cone instead of a lens, lasing up to 165 K. Multifunctional core–shell composite nanoparticles (NPs) have been developed by the combination of three functionalities into
one entity, which is composed of a single Fe3O4 NP as the magnetic core, mesoporous silica (mSiO2) with cavities as the sandwiched layer, and thermosensitive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylamide) (P(NIPAAm-co-AAm)) copolymer as the outer shell. The mSiO2-coated Fe3O4 NPs (Fe3O4@mSiO2) are monodisperse and the particle sizes were varied from 25 to 95 nm by precisely controlling the thickness of mSiO2-coating layer. The P(NIPAAm-co-AAm) were then grown onto surface-initiator-modified Fe3O4@mSiO2 NPs through free radical polymerization. These core–shell composite NPs (designated as Fe3O4@mSiO2@P(NIPAAm-co-AAm)) were found to be superparamagnetic with high r
2 relaxivity. To manipulate the phase transition behavior of these thermosensitive polymer-coated NPs for future in vivo applications,
the characteristic lower critical solution temperature (LCST) was subtly tuned by adjusting the composition of the monomers
to be around the human body temperature (i.e. 37 °C), from ca. 34 to ca. 42 °C. The thermal response of the core–shell composite

The adsorption of CO, NH3 and O2 gas molecules on Fe site of La0.875Sr0.125FeO3 (0 1 0) surface has been investigated based on the density functional theory (DFT) with the spin polarized generalized gradient approximation (GGA). The optimal adsorption orientations as well as the adsorption energies for these molecules adsorption on Fe site of La0.875Sr0.125FeO3 (0 1 0) surface are derived. Results show that adsorption configurations with C-down for CO, N-down for NH3 are stable. 对于半波振子阵列天线,可用感应电动势法算得其阻抗矩阵,依据等效电路原理计入单元间的互耦计算辐射场.将其推广至考虑互耦的散射场计算,基于此辐射场和散射场的计算公式,提出一种考虑互耦同时综合半波振子阵列天线辐射和散射方向图的新方法.运用粒子群优化算法,通过优化振子的间距,同时综合指定辐射和散射方向图.运用该方法,通过对中心工作频率处的辐射和散射特性以及在威胁角度给定频带内的散射特性优化,有效降低半波振子阵在中心工作频率处的辐射和散射方向图的副瓣电平,并减小其在威胁角度给定频带内的雷达散射截面.计算结果与FEKO仿真结果吻合良好,验证方法的正确性. 相似文献

应用红外光谱法,研究了不同pH值和Cu2+浓度条件下,合成赤铁矿和三羟铝石吸附Cu2+后表面羟基结构及其特征吸收峰的变化。结果表明:(1)随Cu2+浓度增加,赤铁矿表面H—O—H和OH的变形振动参与了吸附反应,Cu2+强烈地缔结在Fe—O上,形成了Fe—O—(Cu)结构。(2)酸性条件下,H+破坏了赤铁矿表面的O—H结构,NO3-促使弱峰1 131 cm-1的产生。随pH值增大,赤铁矿表面OH-逐渐由伸缩振动转变为变形振动,Fe—OH和Fe3+—O2-结构不断发生改变。(3)三羟铝石对Cu2+的吸附发生在高波位,随Cu2+浓度增大,其表面游离羟基的O—H弯曲振动、水分子的OH-伸缩振动和H—O—H弯曲振动均参与了吸附反应,Al—O基中的Al3+渐被Cu2+取代从而加强了较低波位的振动强度。(4)随pH值增加,三羟铝石Al—OH的弯曲振动和Al—O的伸缩振动逐渐发生着改变,表明吸附Cu2+后,在其表面形成了AlOCu+与AlOCuOH结构。 相似文献
