The dynamic complexity of a three species food chain model

In this paper, a three-species food chain model is analytically investigated on theories of ecology and using numerical simulation. Bifurcation diagrams are obtained for biologically feasible parameters. The results show that the system exhibits rich complexity features such as stable, periodic and chaotic dynamics.

Deep‐red light‐emitting phosphorescent dendrimer encapsulated tris‐[2‐benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl‐pyridyl] iridium (III) core for light‐emitting device applications

New deep‐red light‐emitting phosphorescent dendrimers with hole‐transporting carbazole dendrons were synthesized by reacting tris(2‐benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐yl‐pyridyl) iridium (III) complex with carbazolyl dendrons by DCC‐catalyzed esterification. The resulting first‐, second‐, and third‐generation dendrimers were found to be highly efficient as solution‐processable emitting materials and for use in host‐free electrophosphorescent light‐emitting diodes. We fabricated a host‐free dendrimer EL device with configuration ITO/PEDOT:PSS (40 nm)/dendrimer (55 nm)/BCP (10 nm)/Alq₃ (40 nm)/LiF (1 nm)/Al (100 nm) and characterized the device performance. The multilayered devices showed luminance of 561 cd/m² at 383.4 mA/cm² (12 V) for 15 , 1302 cd/m² at 321.3 mA/cm² (14 V) for 16 , and 422 cd/m² at 94.4 mA/cm² (18 V) for 17 . The third‐generation dendrimer, 17 (η_ext = 6.12% at 7.5 V), showed the highest external quantum efficiency (EQE) with an increase in the density of the light‐harvesting carbazole dendron. Three dendrimers exhibited considerably pure deep‐red emission with CIE 1931 (Commission International de L'Eclairage) chromaticity coordinates of x = 0.70, y = 0.30. The CIE coordinates remained very stable with the current density. The integration of rigid hole‐transporting dendrons and phosphorescent complexes provides a new route to design highly efficient solution‐processable materials for dendrimer light‐emitting diode (DLED) applications. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 吡唑类化合物是一类具有广泛生物活性的杂环化合物,在医药和农药领域均有商品化的品种问世.在寻找新的吡唑类化合物的过程中,以草酸二乙酯为起始原料,分别与不同的一元酮反应,经过缩合、环合、烷基化、(溴化)、水解,合成了a～d 4个未见文献报道的取代吡唑甲酸乙酯、取代吡唑甲酸中间体,收率78%～90%,结构均经元素分析、1H NMR、MS和IR确证.     

钯-碳/NaHCO3催化下2,4-二氯嘧啶的区域选择性脱氯反应：一种合成2-氯嘧啶的有效方法

本文报道了一种合成2-氯嘧啶的有效方法。易得原料2,4-二氯嘧啶在钯-碳/NaHCO3作用下可以区域选择性地脱除2位氯原子得到2-氯嘧啶。2-氯嘧啶可以用作多种复杂嘧啶衍生物的有效合成砌块。     

Target Syntheses of Two New Bivanadyl Capped Keggin Polyoxometalate Derivatives

Two new bivanadyl capped Keggin polyoxometalate-based inorganic–organic hybrid compounds, [M(2,2′-bipy)₂(H₂O)]₂[AsMo₁₂O₄₀(VO)₂]}(M = Co 1, Zn 2; bipy = bipyridine), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions by directly using Li₃[AsMo₁₂O₄₀] · nH₂O as starting materials. Single crystal X-ray analysis revealed that compounds 1 and 2 were isostructural, consisting of a neutral bivanadyl capped Keggin POMs bigrafted by [M(2,2′-bipy)₂(H₂O)]²⁺ fragments. Other characterizations by elemental analysis, IR spectra, XPS spectra, power X-ray diffraction and TG analysis were also described in the paper. The study of the electrochemical properties of compounds 1 and 2 exhibit similar redox behaviors, undergoing three two-electron reversible redox processes, and the electrocatalysis of 1 has also been studied in detail. For a given set A of nonnegative integers the representation functions R₂(A,n), R₃(A,n) are defined as the number of solutions of the equation n=a+a^′,a,a^′∈A with a<a^′, a?a^′, respectively. In this paper we give a simple proof to two results by Sándor.     

Synthesis, characterization and crystal structures of tri- and tetraphenylantimony(V) compounds containing arylcarbonyloxy moiety

A series of tri- and tetraphenylantimony(V) compounds containing arylcarbonyloxy moiety have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR spectroscopy. Attempts to grow crystals led to colorless blocks identified by X-ray diffraction as (ArCOO)₂SbPh₃ or (ArCOO)SbPh₄.
