This letter focuses on the first result of the preparation and the swelling behavior of a novel hybrid gelatin hydrogel with carbon nanotubes. A novel hybrid gelatin hydrogel with carbon nanotubes was synthesized by a physical mixing method. The structure of the novel hydrogel obtained was characterized by SEM. Besides, the swelling behavior of the synthesized hydrogel was measured at two different temperatures. The results indicate that carbon nanotubes added could maintain the stability of the hybrid hydrogel without cross‐linking at 37 °C. This suggests that the hybrid gelatin hydrogel with carbon nanotubes could be used in biomedical field. Besides, its application in protein separation is discussed.

Energy exchange between the longitudinal and transverse degrees of freedom of nonequipartitioned bunched beams (non-neutral plasmas) is investigated by means of 3D simulation. It is found that collective instability may lead to energy transfer in the direction of equipartition, without full progression to it, in certain bounded regions of parameter space where internal resonance conditions are satisfied, in good agreement with stability charts from an earlier derived 2D Vlasov analysis. Nonequipartitioned stable equilibria, however, exist in relatively wide regimes of parameter space. This provides evidence that such regimes may be safely used in the design of future high-intensity linacs.  相似文献

The B-meson decay constant fB has been calculated from unquenched lattice QCD in the unphysical region. For extrapolating the lattice data to the physical region, we propose a phenomenological functional form based on the effective chiral perturbation theory for heavy mesons, which respects both the heavy quark symmetry and the chiral symmetry, and the non-relativistic constituent quark model which is valid at large pion masses. The inclusion of pion loop corrections leads to non-analytic contributions to fB when the pion mass is small. The finite-range regularization technique is employed for the re-summation of higher-order terms of the chiral expansion. We also take into account the finite volume effects in lattice simulations. The surface modification of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) by O2 plasma was carried out in this study. In order to achieve a relatively homogeneous treatment of MWCNTs powder, a rotating barrel fixed between the two discharge electrodes was used. The effect of plasma treatment parameters, such as power, time, and positions of samples (inside and outside the barrel), on the morphology and structure of MWCNTs surface was systematically analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the direct discharge (outside the barrel) could result in not only a quick grafting of polar functional groups but also an easy damage of MWCNTs after longer time, particularly under intensive power. It was found that the surface of MWCNTs powder might be changed in three steps—expansion (loosed structure formed), peel off and oxidization with increasing of treatment time during the irradiation. In this way, a complete purification of MWCNTs powder could be finished within 30 min via plasma treatment. Our work suggested that plasma treatment could be a simple and nonpolluting method for a large scale purification of MWCNTs.  相似文献

In this Letter, a hyperchaotic Lorenz system is constructed via state feedback control. Abundant dynamics of the hyperchaotic system is studied using the Lyapunov exponents, Poincaré section and bifurcation diagram. Furthermore, effective linear feedback controllers are designed for stabilizing hyperchaos to unstable equilibrium, periodic orbits and quasi-periodic orbit. SiO2 films have been prepared on sapphire by radio frequency magnetron reactive sputtering in order to increase the optical and mechanical properties of infrared windows and domes of sapphire at elevated temperatures. Infrared transmission and flexural strength of uncoated and coated sapphires have been investigated at different temperatures. SiO2 films were shown to have apparent antireflective effect on sapphire substrate at room temperature. With increasing temperature, the coated sapphires have larger average transmission than the uncoated ones. The temperature was proven to only weakly affect the absorption coefficient and antireflection capability of the deposited films. It is also indicated that the flexural strengths of the c-axis sapphire samples coated with SiO2 films are increased by 1.2 and 1.5 times than those of uncoated at 600 and 800 °C, respectively.  相似文献

Compact-like discrete breathers in discrete one-dimensional monatomic chains are investigated by discussing a generalized discrete one-dimensional monatomic model. It is proven that compact-like discrete breathers exist not only in soft Ф^4 potential but also in hard Ф^4 potential and K4 chains. The measurements of compact-like discrete breathers' core in soft and hard Ф^4 potential are determined by coupling parameter K4, while the measurements of compact-like discrete breathers' core in K4 chains are not related to coupling parameter K4. The stabilities of compact-like discrete breathers correlate closely to coupling parameter K4 and the boundary condition of lattice.  相似文献

A focused gallium ion (Ga+) beam is used to fabricate micro/submicron spacing gratings on the surface of porous NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA ). The crossing type of gratings with double-frequency (25001/mm and 50001/mm) using the focused ion beam (FIB) milling are successfully produced in a combination mode or superposition mode. Based on the double-frequency gratings, high-quality scanning electron microscopy (SEM) Moird patterns are obtained to study the micro-scale deformation of porous NiTi SMA. The grating fabrication technique is discussed in detail. The experimental results verify the feasibility of fabricating high frequency grating on metal surface using FIB milling.  相似文献
