A combination of in situ time-resolved DXAFS and ICP-MS techniques reveals that the formation process of Rh nanoparticles (NPs) from rhodium trichloride trihydrate (RhCl(3)·3H(2)O) in ethylene glycol with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) at elevated temperature is a first-order reaction, which indicates that uniform size Rh NPs appear consecutively and these Rh NPs do not aggregate with each other.  相似文献

Herein, we successfully fabricated a highly sensitive label-free electrochemical aptasensor for thrombin based on the amplification of graphene (Gra). The excellent electrochemical probe of nickel hexacyanoferrate nanoparticles (NiHCFNPs) was introduced to form Nafion-Graphene-NiHCFNPs (Nf-Gra-NiHCFNPs) nanocomposites membrane on the gold electrode. The employment of graphene not only enhanced the surface area of the electrode with increased NiHCFNPs immobilization, but also improved the conductivity of the electrode, which further effectively improved the sensitivity of this proposed aptasensor. Subsequently, AuNPs layer was formed to immobilize the thrombin aptamer (TBA) and enhance the stability of the composite monolayer mentioned above. Then, thiol-modified TBA was assembled onto the AuNPs layer. Thereafter, hexanethiol (HT) was employed to block the possible remaining active sites. With the dual amplification of Gra and AuNPs, the resulting aptasensor exhibited good current response to target thrombin with a wide linear range extended from 1 pM to 80 nM (the detection limit was 0.3 pM). Additionally, the morphologies of bare Au substrate, nickel hexacyanoferrate nanoparticles (NiHCFNPs) and nanocomposites were successfully characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM).  相似文献

Cross-linking of the reverse micelles (RMs) of a triallylammonium surfactant afforded organic nanoparticles with introverted cationic groups. The cross-linked reverse micelles catalyzed size-selective biphasic reaction between sodium azide and alkyl bromides. Size selectivity of up to 9:1 was obtained for alkyl bromides with similar structures. The selectivity was influenced strongly by the size of the water pool and proposed to happen as a result of the "sieving" effect of the alkyl corona.  相似文献

Two near isomeric clusters containing a novel {Mn8W4} Keggin cluster within a [W36Mn10Si4O136(OH)4(H2O)8]24? cluster are reported: K10Li14 [W36Si4O136MnII10(OH)4(H2O)8] ( 1 ) and K10Li13.5Mn0.25[W36Si4O136MnII10(OH)4(H2O)8] ( 1′ ). Bulk characterization of the clusters has been carried out by single crystal X‐ray structure analysis, ICP‐MS, TGA, ESI‐MS, CV and SQUID‐magnetometer analysis. X‐ray analysis revealed that 1′ has eight positions within the central Keggin core that were disordered W/Mn whereas 1 contained no such disorder. This subtle difference is due to a differences is how the two clusters assemble and recrystallize from the same mother liquor and represents a new type of isomerism. The rapid recrystallization process was captured via digital microscopy and this uncovered two “intermediate” types of crystal which formed temporarily and provided nucleation sites for the final clusters to assemble. The intermediates were investigated by single crystal X‐ray analysis and revealed to be novel clusters K4Li22[W36Si4Mn7O136(H2O)8]?56 H2O ( 2 ) and Mn2K8Li14[W36Si4Mn7O136(H2O)8]?45 H2O ( 3 ). The intermediate clusters contained different yet related building blocks to the final clusters which allowed for the postulation of a mechanism of assembly. This demonstrates a rare example where the use X‐ray crystallography directly facilitated understanding the means by which a POM assembled.  相似文献

Zn2GeO4/N‐doped graphene nanocomposites have been synthesized through a fast microwave‐assisted route on a large scale. The resulting nanohybrids are comprised of Zn2GeO4 nanorods that are well‐embedded in N‐doped graphene sheets by in situ reducing and doping. Importantly, the N‐doped graphene sheets serve as elastic networks to disperse and electrically wire together the Zn2GeO4 nanorods, thereby effectively relieving the volume‐expansion/contraction and aggregation of the nanoparticles during charge and discharge processes. We demonstrate that an electrode that is made of the as‐formed Zn2GeO4/N‐doped graphene nanocomposite exhibits high capacity (1463 mAh g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1), good cyclability, and excellent rate capability (531 mAh g?1 at a current density of 3200 mA g?1). Its superior lithium‐storage performance could be related to a synergistic effect of the unique nanostructured hybrid, in which the Zn2GeO4 nanorods are well‐stabilized by the high electronic conduction and flexibility of N‐doped graphene sheets. This work offers an effective strategy for the fabrication of functionalized ternary‐oxide‐based composites as high‐performance electrode materials that involve structural conversion and transformation.  相似文献

Two kinds of inorganic gadolinium(III)‐hydroxy “ladders”, [2×n] and [3×n], were successfully trapped in succinate (suc) coordination polymers, [Gd2(OH)2(suc)2(H2O)]n ? 2n H2O ( 1 ) and [Gd6(OH)8(suc)5(H2O)2]n ? 4n H2O ( 2 ), respectively. Such coordination polymers could be regarded as alternating inorganic–organic hybrid materials with relatively high density. Magnetic and heat capacity studies reveal a large cryogenic magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in both compounds, namely (ΔH=70 kG) 42.8 J kg?1 K?1 for complex 1 and 48.0 J kg?1 K?1 for complex 2 . The effect of the high density is evident, which gives very large volumetric MCEs up to 120 and 144 mJ cm?3 K?1 for complexes 1 and 2 , respectively.  相似文献

The unique features of high porosity, shape selectivity, and multiple active sites make metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) promising as novel stationary phases for high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). However, the wide particle size distribution and irregular shape of conventional MOFs lead to lower column efficiency of such MOF‐packed columns. Herein, the fabrication of monodisperse MOF@SiO2 core–shell microspheres as the stationary phase for HPLC to overcome the above‐mentioned problems is reported. Zeolitic imidazolate framework 8 (ZIF‐8) was used as an example of MOFs due to its permanent porosity, uniform pore size, and exceptional chemical stability. Unique carboxyl‐modified silica spheres were used as the support to grow the ZIF‐8 shell. The fabricated monodisperse ZIF‐8@SiO2 packed columns (5 cm long × 4.6 mm i.d.) show high column efficiency (23 000 plates m?1 for bisphenol A) for the HPLC separation of endocrine‐disrupting chemicals (bisphenol A, β‐estradiol, and p‐(tert‐octyl)phenol) and pesticides (thiamethoxam, hexaflumuron, chlorantraniliprole, and pymetrozine) within 7 min with good relative standard deviations for 11 replicate separations of the analytes (0.01–0.39, 0.65–1.7, 0.70–1.3, and 0.17–0.91 % for retention time, peak area, peak height, and half peak width, respectively). The ZIF‐8@SiO2 microspheres combine the advantages of the good column packing properties of the uniform monodisperse silica microspheres and the separation ability of the ZIF‐8 crystals.  相似文献

Understanding the interactions between proteins and ligands is critical for protein function annotations and drug discovery. We report a new sequence‐based template‐free predictor (TargetATPsite) to identify the Adenosine‐5′‐triphosphate (ATP) binding sites with machine‐learning approaches. Two steps are implemented in TargetATPsite: binding residues and pockets predictions, respectively. To predict the binding residues, a novel image sparse representation technique is proposed to encode residue evolution information treated as the input features. An ensemble classifier constructed based on support vector machines (SVM) from multiple random under‐samplings is used as the prediction model, which is effective for dealing with imbalance phenomenon between the positive and negative training samples. Compared with the existing ATP‐specific sequence‐based predictors, TargetATPsite is featured by the second step of possessing the capability of further identifying the binding pockets from the predicted binding residues through a spatial clustering algorithm. Experimental results on three benchmark datasets demonstrate the efficacy of TargetATPsite. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献
