Zero-moment laminated cylindrical shells with variable elasticity parameters obtained by the continuous winding method

Conclusions The general solution in the displacements of the problem of thermal-force loading of a zero-moment laminated cylindrical shell with variable elasticity parameters has been obtained in analytic form. Calculation of contact pressures in the cable pressing of a cylindrical plastic shell subjected to a nonstationary temperature field

Algorithms for approximate calculation of the minimum of a convex function from its values

The paper deals with a numerical minimization problem for a convex function defined on a convexn-dimensional domain and continuous (but not necessarily smooth). The values of the function can be calculated at any given point. It is required to find the minimum with desired accuracy. A new algorithm for solving this problem is presented, whose computational complexity asn is considerably less than that of similar algorithms known to the author. Ideals of the semigroup of ultrafilters of a topological group

We construct two new series of closed left ideals of the semigroup of ultrafilters of a topological group (G, ). The first series gives a disjunctive decomposition of -absorbing ultrafilters. Under certain restrictions on the topology of the group (G, ), the second series gives a disjunctive decomposition of the semigroup of free ultrafilters. A model for <Emphasis Type="Italic">A</Emphasis> = 3 antinuclei production in proton-nucleus collisions

A simple coalescence model based on the same diagrammatic approach of antimatter production in hadronic collisions as used previously for antideuterons is used here for the hadroproduction of mass-3 antinuclei. Brightness-Spectrum Characteristics of the Surface Laser Plasma of Polymeric Targets in the VUV Spectral Region

The brightness-spectrum and energy parameters in the VUV range of the spectrum (h 9–70 eV) of the surface laser plasma of polymeric targets in vacuum are determined experimentally. Using the experimental technology of double open and closed ionization chambers (as radiation detectors) requiring no absolute energy calibration in a wide range of regulation parameters of the effect of standard laser frequencies, we obtained new data on multifactor radiative gasdynamic processes of effect which are needed to determine emission and mass-output characteristics of the targets irradiated under vacuum.
