Recovery-Based Error Estimator for Natural Convection Equations Based on Defect-Correction Methods

In this paper, we propose an adaptive defect-correction method for natural convection (NC) equations. A defect-correction method (DCM) is proposed for solving NC equations to overcome the convection dominance problem caused by a high Rayleigh number. To solve the large amount of computation and the discontinuity of the gradient of the numerical solution, we combine a new recovery-type posteriori estimator in view of the gradient recovery and superconvergent theory. The presented reliability and efficiency analysis shows that the true error can be effectively bounded by the recovery-based error estimator. Finally, the stability, accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are confirmed by several numerical investigations.

基于Hill动力学与Michaelis-Menten方程,建立理论模型研究发状分裂相关增强子1(hairy and enhancer of split 1,Hes1)调控蛋白激酶B (Protein Kinase B,AKT)-鼠双微体2 (Murine Double Minute2,MDM2)-抗癌基因p53(p53)-第10号染色体缺失的磷酸酶及张力蛋白同源的基因(Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten,PTEN)通路的一种物理机制.研究发现,Hes1通过与PTEN结合抑制PTEN表达,并调控AKT信号.表明了Hes1蛋白的合成,以及Hes1与PTEN相互作用调控AKTMDM2-p53-PTEN通路信号,将会有效地控制细胞结果 . Analysis of guanosine-5′-monophosphate at nM level based on the co-luminescence effect of Tb-Gd-GMP system

This paper first found the co-luminescence effect of guanosine-5′-monophosphate (GMP) system. Experiment showed that La³⁺, Gd³⁺, Sc³⁺ and Y³⁺ all could enhance the luminescence of Tb-GMP system, among which Gd³⁺ has the greatest enhancement. Under the optimum conditions, the enhanced intensity of the system is in proportion to the concentration of GMP in the range from 3×10⁻⁸ to 3×10⁻⁵ mol/l. The detection limit is 3.9×10⁻⁹ mol/l. In the study of mechanism, we propose that both Tb and Gd complexes can form bigger netlike compound by the link of the oxygen bridge, through which the energy absorbed by Gd complex may transfer to Tb³⁺ in Tb complex.     

Consistency in formulation of spin current and torque associated with a variance of angular momentum

Based on the Noether's theorem, we develop systematically and rigorously the spin-dependent formulation of the conservation laws. The effect of the electronic polarization due to the spin-orbit coupling is included in the Maxwell equations. The polarization is related to the antisymmetric components of spin current, and it provides a possibility to measure the spin current directly. The variances of spin and orbit angular momentum currents imply a torque on the "electric dipole" associated with the moving electron. The dependencies of the torque on the polarization and the force on the motions of spin-polarized electrons in a two-dimensional electron gas with the Rashba spin-orbit coupling are discussed.     

Discontinuous Galerkin method for the coupled Stokes‐Biot model

In this paper, a semi‐discrete scheme and a fully discrete scheme of the Stokes‐Biot model are proposed, and we analyze the semi‐discrete scheme in detail. First of all, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the semi‐discrete scheme, and a‐priori error estimates are derived. Then, we present the same conclusions for the fully discrete scheme. Finally, under both matching and non‐matching meshes some numerical tests are given to validate the analysis of convergence, which well support the theoretical results.     

Neural network applied to reconstruction of complex objects based on fringe projection

The neural network has been introduced into the reconstruction of the complex object based on fringe projection. In this method, the neural network with powerful property of approximation is used to get the continuous approximate function of a discrete fringe pattern captured by an image frame grabber. The depth-related phase of the measured object modulated into the fringe pattern can be demodulated by dealing with the approximate function. Compared with the Fourier transform profilometry (FTP), in the network method, one deformed fringe pattern is needed to reconstruct the tested object, and a high spatial resolution is maintained for no filtering process. Therefore, this method performs better than FTP in the measurement of the complex object. Moreover, the network method is capable of demodulating more depth-related phase even in the case that the local shadow exists in the fringe pattern. Computer simulations and experiments validate the feasibility of this method.
