Two new diglycolamide‐based task‐specific ionic liquids (DGA? TSILs) were evaluated for the extraction of actinides and lanthanides from acidic feed solutions. These DGA? TSILs were capable of exceptionally high extraction of trivalent actinide ions, such as Am3+, and even higher extraction of the lanthanide ion, Eu3+ (about 5–10 fold). Dilution of the DGA? TSILs in an ionic liquid, C4mim+ ? NTf2?, afforded reasonably high extraction ability, faster mass transfer, and more efficient stripping of the metal ion. The nature of the extracted species was studied by slope analysis, which showed that the extracted species contained one NO3? anion, along with the participation of two DGA? TSIL molecules. Time‐resolved laser fluorescence spectroscopy (TRLFS) analysis showed a strong complexation with no inner‐sphere water molecule in the EuIII? DGA? TSIL complexes in the presence and absence of C4mim+ ? NTf2? as the diluent. The very high radiolytic stability of DGA? TSIL 6 makes it one of the most‐efficient solvent systems for the extraction of actinides under acidic feed conditions.  相似文献

We make the case for benzo[c]quinolin‐6‐ylidene ( 1 ) as a strongly electron‐donating carbene ligand. The facile synthesis of 6‐trifluoromethanesulfonylbenzo[c]quinolizinium trifluoromethanesulfonate ( 2 ) gives straightforward access to a useful precursor for oxidative addition to low‐valent metals, to yield the desired carbene complexes. This concept has been achieved in the case of [Mn(benzo[c]quinolin‐6‐ylidene)(CO)5]+ ( 15 ) and [Pd(benzo[c]quinolin‐6‐ylidene)(PPh3)2(L)]2+ L=THF ( 21 ), OTf ( 22 ) or pyridine ( 23 ). Attempts to coordinate to nickel result in coupling products from two carbene precursor fragments. The CO IR‐stretching‐frequency data for the manganese compound suggests benzo[c]quinolin‐6‐ylidene is at least as strong a donor as any heteroatom‐stabilised carbene ligand reported.  相似文献

The thermal and photochemical reactions of a newly synthesized complex, [RuII(TPA)(tpphz)]2+ ( 1 ; TPA=tris(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine, tpphz=tetrapyrido[3,2‐a:2′,3′‐c:3′′,2′′‐h: 2′′′,3′′′‐j]phenazine), and its derivatives have been investigated. Heating a solution of complex 1 (closed form) and its derivatives in MeCN caused the partial dissociation of one pyridylmethyl moiety of the TPA ligand and the resulting vacant site on the RuII center was occupied by a molecule of MeCN from the solvent to give a dissociated complex, [RuII3‐TPA)(tpphz)(MeCN)]2+ ( 1′ , open form), and its derivatives, respectively, in quantitative yields. The thermal dissociation reactions were investigated on the basis of kinetics analysis, which indicated that the reactions proceeded through a seven‐coordinate transition state. Although the backwards reaction was induced by photoirradiation of the MLCT absorption bands, the photoreaction of complex 1′ reached a photostationary state between complexes 1 and 1′ and, hence, the recovery of complex 1 from complex 1′ was 67 %. Upon protonation of complex 1 at the vacant site of the tpphz ligand, the efficiency of the photoinduced recovery of complex 1 +H+ from complex 1′ +H+ improved to 83 %. In contrast, dinuclear μ‐tpphz complexes 2 and 3 , which contained the RuII(TPA)(tpphz) unit and either a RuII(bpy)2 or PdIICl2 moiety on the other coordination edge of the tpphz ligand, exhibited 100 % photoconversion from their open forms into their closed forms ( 2′ → 2 and 3′ → 3 ). These results are the first examples of the complete photochromic structural change of a transition‐metal complex, as represented by complete interconversion between its open and closed forms. Scrutinization by performing optical and electrochemical measurements allowed us to propose a rationale for how metal coordination at the vacant site of the tpphz ligand improves the efficiency of photoconversion from the open form into the closed form. It is essential to lower the energy level of the triplet metal‐to‐ligand charge‐transfer excited state (3MLCT*) of the closed form relative to that of the triplet metal‐centered excited state (3MC*) by metal coordination. This energy‐level manipulation hinders the transition from the 3MLCT* state into the 3MC* state in the closed form to block the partial photodissociation of the TPA ligand.  相似文献

The reactions of laser‐ablated Au, Ag, and Cu atoms with F2 in excess argon and neon gave new absorptions in the M? F stretching region of their IR spectra, which were assigned to metal‐fluoride species. For gold, a Ng? AuF bond was identified in mixed neon/argon samples. However, this bonding was much weaker with AgF and CuF. Molecules MF2 and MF3 (M=Au, Ag, Cu) were identified from the isotopic distribution of the Cu and Ag atoms, comparison of the frequencies for three metal fluorides, and theoretical frequency calculations. The AuF5 molecule was characterized by its strongest stretching mode and theoretical frequency calculations. Additional evidence was observed for the formation of the Au2F6 molecule.  相似文献

We describe herein the synthesis of novel donor–acceptor conjugated polymers with dithienobenzodithiophenes (DTBDT) as the electron donor and 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole as the electron acceptor for high‐performance organic photovoltaics (OPVs). We studied the effects of strategically inserting thiophene into the DTBDT as a substituent on the skeletal structure on the opto‐electronic performances of fabricated devices. From UV/Vis absorption, electrochemical, and field‐effect transistor analyses, we found that the thiophene‐containing DTBDT derivative can substantially increase the orbital overlap area between adjacent conjugated chains and thus dramatically enhance charge‐carrier mobility up to 0.55 cm2 V?1 s?1. The outstanding charge‐transport characteristics of this polymer allowed the realization of high‐performance organic solar cells with a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.1 %. Detailed studies on the morphological factors that enable the maximum PCE of the polymer solar cells are discussed along with a hole/electron mobility analysis based on the space‐charge‐limited current model.  相似文献

This article describes a simple method for the generation of multicomponent gradient surfaces on self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) on gold in a precise and predictable manner, by harnessing a chemical reaction on the monolayer, and their applications. A quinone derivative on a monolayer was converted to an amine through spontaneous intramolecular cyclization following first‐order reaction kinetics. An amine gradient on the surface on a scale of centimeters was realized by modulating the exposure time of the quinone‐presenting monolayer to the chemical reagent. The resulting amine was used as a chemical handle to attach various molecules to the monolayer with formation of multicomponent gradient surfaces. The effectiveness of this strategy was verified by cyclic voltammetry (CV), matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight (MALDI‐TOF) mass spectrometry (MS), MS imaging, and contact‐angle measurements. As a practical application, cell adhesion was investigated on RGD/PHSRN peptide/peptide gradient surfaces. Peptide PHSRN was found to synergistically enhance cell adhesion at the position where these two ligands are presented in equal amounts, while these peptide ligands were competitively involved in cell adhesion at other positions. This strategy of generating a gradient may be further expandable to the development of functional gradient surfaces of various molecules and materials, such as DNA, proteins, growth factors, and nanoparticles, and could therefore be useful in many fields of research and practical applications.  相似文献

Restacking of graphene sheets to a graphite‐like structure is a prevailing problem that is known to compromise the performance of individual graphene sheets in an assembled bulk form. To address this common problem efficiently and monitor the structure and quality of graphene products comprehensively, it is highly desirable to develop reliable metrology techniques for characterising graphene‐based materials on a bulk assembly level and in a quantitative manner. Here, by revisiting the physicochemical principle of electrosorption, we propose a simple electrochemical approach, namely dynamic electrosorption analysis (DEA), as an easily accessible and effective technique for evaluation of the self‐stacking behaviour of graphene. Taking multilayered chemically converted graphene films as a model, we demonstrate that the DEA technique can effectively reveal very subtle variation in accessible surface area and pore size of graphene assemblies in the liquid phase and thus can provide useful insights to the experimental design relating to restacking control. This work also reveals the huge effect some routine processing conditions, such as heat treatment and drying, can have on the structure and performance of graphene‐based bulk materials, providing useful guidance for future manufacturing of this class of materials.  相似文献

A variety of N‐alkyl‐α,α‐dichloroaldimines were vinylated by terminal acetylenes in the presence of Lewis acids such as In(OTf)3 or BF3 ? OEt2 and hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) as an additive. The reaction proceeds at ambient temperature and leads to geometrically pure allylic β,β‐dichloroamines. This approach is complementary to previously reported transition‐metal‐catalyzed vinyl‐transfer methods, which are not applicable to aliphatic imines and are restricted to imines that contain an electron‐withdrawing nitrogen substituent. In the present approach, terminal alkynes were used as a source of the vinyl residue, and the N‐alkyl moiety of the imine acts as a sacrificial hydrogen donor. The additional advantage of this methodology is the fact that no external toxic or hazardous reducing agents or molecular hydrogen has to be used. This new methodology nicely combines a C(sp2)? C(sp) bond formation, hydride transfer, and an unusual cleavage of an unactivated C? N bond, thereby giving rise to functionalized primary allylic amines. A detailed experimental study supported by DFT calculations of the mechanism has been done.  相似文献

The highly Z‐selective asymmetric conjugate addition of 3‐substituted oxindoles to alkynyl carbonyl compounds has been developed by using scandium complexes of chiral N,N′‐dioxides under mild conditions. The thermodynamically unstable Z‐olefin derivatives were obtained in excellent yields and high enantiomeric and geometric control. The catalyst was also found to be effective in the asymmetric acetylenic substitution reaction of 3‐substituted oxindoles, giving excellent enantioselectivities.  相似文献
