A new method has been developed for monitoring the degradation of paintings. Two inorganic pigments (ultramarine blue and red ochre) were blended with linseed oil and spread on canvas. Each canvas was subjected to simulated accelerated ageing in the presence of typical degradation agents (UV radiation and acidic solution). Periodically the painted surfaces were analysed by FT-Raman, to investigate the status of the surface. The data obtained were analysed by principal component analysis (PCA). Finally the Shewhart and cumulative sum control charts based on the relevant principal components (PC) and the so called scores monitoring and residuals tracking (SMART) charts were built. The method based on the use of PC to describe the process was found to enable identification of the presence of relevant modification occurring on the surface of the samples studied.Electronic supplementary material Supplementary material is available for this article at 相似文献

A bifunctional amido-thiophene namely hexamethylene (bis-3-thiophene acetamide) (HMTA) was synthesized by the reaction of 3-thiophene acetic acid with hexamethylene diamine. Copolymerization in the presence of thiophene was achieved electrochemically in tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate/acetonitrile (TBAFB/AN). Spectroelectrochemical analysis of the resulting copolymer [P(HMTA-co-Th)] reflected electronic transitions at 505 nm, 740 nm and ∼1000 nm, revealing π to π* transition, polaron and bipolaron band formation respectively. Switching ability was evaluated by a kinetic study via measuring the transmittance (%T) at the maximum contrast. Dual type polymer electrochromic devices (ECDs) based on P(HMTA-co-Th) and poly(ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) have been constructed. Spectroelectrochemistry, switching ability and stability of the devices were investigated by UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. These devices exhibit low switching voltages (between 0.0 V and +1.6 V), short switching times with reasonable switching stability under atmospheric conditions. 相似文献

The molecular structure and rotational motion of the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM][PF6]) were studied over a wide temperature range using the Bloembergen–Purcell–Pound 13C NMR spin–lattice relaxation method and NOE factors. Examination of the spin–lattice relaxation times (T

1) of the 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium cation reveals the relative motions of each carbon in the imidazolium cation. The rotational characteristics of the [BMIM] cation are supported by ab-initio molecular structures of [BMIM][PF6] using density functional theory (DFT) and Hartree–Fock (HF) methods. The ab-initio gas phase structures of [BMIM][PF6] indicate that the 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium C2 hydrogen, the ring methyl group, and the butyl side-chain hydrogen atoms form hydrogen bonds with the hexafluorophosphate anion. 相似文献

We have accomplished the synthesis of 13C‐labeled tautomycin at the C18, C19, C21, and C22 positions starting from 100 % [13C]triethylphosphonoacetate for the purpose of elucidating the dynamics and conformation of the C17–C26 moiety. The alkaline 1-phenyl-1H-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrazole-5-thiolate salts, M[C6H5N4CS] (M = Li ( 1 ), Na ( 2 ), K ( 3 ), Rb ( 4 ) and Cs ( 5 )) were obtained and characterized by means of mass spectrometry (FAB+) and NMR (1H; 13C) spectroscopy. The structures of Na ( 2 ), K ( 3 ), Rb ( 4 ) and Cs ( 5 ) compounds were determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The ligand shows a rich variety of coordination patterns with the alkaline cations. The formation of a four-membered ring MSCN in the compounds with heavier alkali cations (K, Rb and Cs) is shown. In all the cations the coordination number around it increases with the ionic radius. Compounds with Cs+ and Rb+ exhibited the formation of Cs-C and Rb-C interactions with the phenyl group. 相似文献

=–10 Cl/mole.Racemization does not occurvia bond forming or breaking; the value for the inversion barrier is not affected by substituents in position 4 and therefore corresponds to the value of unsubstituted [2.2]metacyclophane, whereas substituents in the bridge exert a distinct influence. These results can easily be explained on the basis of the isoconformational concept.

The importance of the rheological behaviour of solutions of macromolecules is briefly evaluated. The viscosity of the solutions depends on concentration, shear rate and time of shear, this relation being determined by the structure of the dissolved molecules. In dilute solutions shear dependence of viscosity is very frequently caused by the preferential orientation of anisotropic molecules. In such a case the particle dimensions can be calculated from the true limiting viscosity number, an anisotropy factor, the rotational diffusion constant and the effective particle density. These numbers can be derived from the flow curve, which has been extrapolated to zero concentration. It is necessary to measure the flow curve at shear gradients, which are sufficiently low to allow for an extrapolation to vanishing shear rate. By comparing the experimental flow curve with a choice of theoretical ones, the rotational diffusion constant and the anisotropy factor (axial ratio) can be found. From the limiting viscosity number and the axial ratio, the particle density can be calculated. 相似文献

Compared to the general ionic liquids (ILs), a significant deviation of the binary mixtures of 1-decyl-3-methylimidazolium tri(hexafluoroacetylaceto)-copper(II) ([C10mim][Cu(hfacac)3]) with methanol was found, indicating the way methanol interacts with ILs might be governed by the special structure of the chelating anion. IR results showed that the (C2-H) of 1-decyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluoroacetylacetonate ([C10mim][hfacac]) blue-shifted more significantly than that of [C10mim][Cu(hfacac)3], meanwhile the (C=O) red-shifted in [C10mim][Cu(hfacac)3], which is contrast with that in [C10mim][hfacac]. Two-dimensional correlation analysis of the FTIR spectra indicated that the chelating cavity has little effect on the sequence of the ILs sites that interact with methanol. Combined with small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) results, the picture of mixing processes in these two systems were proposed. Methanol interacts directly with the anion followed by the cation in [C10mim][hfacac], while methanol preferentially enters the chelating cavity and enhances the packing effect in the [C10mim][Cu(hfacac)3] system. 相似文献
