Excitation functions for the production of68Ga,67Ga,66Ga,65Ga +65Zn and61Cu fromα-induced reactions in natural copper have been measured in the energy range ≈ 10–40 MeV using the stacked foil technique. A stack of nine copper foils was irradiated by a 40 MeVα-beam. Theγ-rays emitted from the irradiated samples were recorded. Excitation functions have also been calculated theoretically using a statistical model with and without the inclusion of pre-equilibrium emission of particles. Pre-equilibrium component simulated by exciton model shows that the inclusion of pre-equilibrium emission gives better agreement between experimental and theoretical excitation functions. Pre-equilibrium fraction depends on the incident energy and the target mass number.  相似文献

We report the effect of compressive strain on magnetic and magneto-electrical properties of lightly doped manganite La0.88Sr0.12MnO3 thin films. Films, having 5-60 nm thickness, were grown on (001) LaAlO3 and (001) SrTiO3 substrate by DC-magnetron sputtering. These films show a magnetoresistance as high as ∼65% at room temperature and insulator-metal transition temperature . Further, we demonstrate that a small variation in strain causes significant changes in their properties. We have discussed the possible origin of these features and compared with the reported literature.  相似文献

We report the appearance and enhancement in intensity of impurity related local vibrational modes in Bi2O3 : Ho micro‐rods along with normal modes. Pure and Ho‐doped Bi2O3 micro‐rods were synthesized by conventional co‐precipitation method at 60 °C. The structural and morphological studies were carried out using powder X‐ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. Raman spectroscopic studies reveal the existence of local phonon vibrational modes (LVM) due to the incorporation of Ho3+. Harmonic approximation method was employed to find the dopant‐related peak in the Raman spectra. Variation in full width at half maximum for LVM with increase in Ho3+ was also investigated. This increase in FWHM indicates the decrease in crystallinity of the doped samples. The phonon lifetime calculation carried out for each samples and the decrease in phonon lifetime with doping concentration make this material a potential candidate for optical and electronic applications. This paper presents an efficient numerical technique for solving a class of time-fractional diffusion equation. The time-fractional derivative is described in the Caputo form. The L1 scheme is used for discretization of Caputo fractional derivative and a collocation approach based on sextic B-spline basis function is employed for discretization of space variable. The unconditional stability of the fully-discrete scheme is analyzed. Two numerical examples are considered to demonstrate the accuracy and applicability of our scheme. The proposed scheme is shown to be sixth order accuracy with respect to space variable and (2 − α)-th order accuracy with respect to time variable, where α is the order of temporal fractional derivative. The numerical results obtained are compared with other existing numerical methods to justify the advantage of present method. The CPU time for the proposed scheme is provided.  相似文献

A hybrid near-field fluorescence microscopy, which combines near-field scanning optical microscopy and photon scanning tunneling microscopy, is demonstrated for nanoscale optical memory and photofabrication on spin-coated dye-doped polymer films. Storage capacity and readout signal-to-noise ratio with near-field one-photon and two-photon excitations are studied.  相似文献

A chemically modified poly(fluorene-alt-benzothiadiazole) (PFBT) polymer film is reported to exhibit high two-photon absorbing capability and chemical/physical stability upon the action of high-power laser pulses of ~780 nm wavelength and ~160 fs duration. A nonlinear transmission measurement is conducted by varying the input intensity from ~20 to ~600 GW/cm2, the corresponding nonlinear transmission of a ~70 μm thick film is reduced from ~0.8 to 0.18, indicating a superior optical limiting behavior. In the meantime, intensity fluctuation of laser pulses can be significantly reduced after passing through the same film sample. Based on the intensity-dependent nonlinear attenuation mechanism, a straightforward optical reshaping effect on spatio-temporal profiles of the laser pulses has also been demonstrated.  相似文献

Abstract

A 3D dislocation dynamics study to ascertain the probable path of stage-I fatigue crack propagation across the persistent slip band (PSB) in austenitic stainless steel is presented. Cyclic plasticity and the resulting crack tip slip displacement (CTSD) are evaluated for cracks of varying length introduced at PSB-center and at two PSB-matrix interfaces. CTSD attains high value at either of the two interfaces irrespective of the proximity of crack front to the grain boundary. Further, a difference in microcrack propagation rate is also observed among the two interfaces. The present results assert microcrack propagation preferrentially along one of the two PSB-matrix interfaces rather than at the PSB-center. A pre-existing PSB dislocation structure localises the cyclic slip for crack lengths up to approximately half of the grain depth for an applied strain range of 2 × 10?4.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The stages of crystallization of magnetron sputter-deposited Ni63Zr37 film with mostly amorphous structure have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and in-situ annealing at 300°C by use of heating stage on a high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). These results have been further confirmed by grazing incidence X-ray diffraction analyses of thin film specimens annealed ex-situ at 300°C for various durations. The temperature for crystallization found by DSC has been found to increase from 371°C to 434°C with an increase in heating rate from 3°C/min to 10°C/min, and the apparent activation energy for amorphous to crystalline transformation has been found as ~260.2?kJ/mol from the Kissinger plot. Studies on HRTEM using in-situ heating stage have shown the crystallization to occur on annealing at 300°C for ~10?min. Crystallization at a temperature lower than that found by DSC is attributed to structural relaxation with reduction of free volume due to thermal activation. It has been observed that Ni3Zr forms first due to its large negative enthalpy of formation, and is followed by the formation of Ni-rich solid solution (Niss) grains. HRTEM studies have shown grain rotation with the formation of partial dislocations at Ni3Zr-Niss interfaces as well as twinning followed by detwinning with dislocation formation in the Niss matrix possibly to reduce the interfacial energy.  相似文献
