Given a topological space 〈X, T〉 ∈M, an elementary submodel of set theory, we defineX Mto beXM with the topology generated by {UM : UTM}. Two well-accepted methodologies, based on a microbiologic assay (MA) and liquid chromatography (LC), and a novel methodology using micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC), were compared for the determination of cephalexin in commercially available and simulated samples of oral suspensions. The MA, described in the Brazilian Pharmacopeia, was performed with a strain of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 as the test organism, following the cylinder-plate method. The LC analysis followed the European Pharmacopoeia, 3rd Ed., and was used with minor modifications. The MEKC analysis was based on a previous work of the group. Estimates of the repeatability relative standard deviations of the MA, LC, and MEKC methods in the analysis of a commercial sample were 0.34, 0.42, and 0.37%, respectively. The recovery obtained with LC was 99.90 +/- 1.11%; for MEKC, it was 100.09 +/- 0.56%. Although the 3 methodologies were statistically equivalent for the determination of cephalexin in oral suspensions, MA gave suitable repeatability despite being nonspecific and time-consuming. MEKC provided faster analysis and higher column efficiency, whereas LC presented superior sensitivity. The results indicated that MEKC can be used as an alternative method to MA and LC in routine quality control laboratories.  相似文献

Low concentrations of the non-ionic detergent Triton X-100 increase the activity of sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca++-ATPase without major changes in protein conformation, according to FT-IR spectroscopy in H2O and D2O. At higher surfactant concentrations the enzyme activity is inhibited, while changes in protein conformation are seen: The proportion of unordered structure increases at the expenses of-turns and parallel-sheet.  相似文献

The values of the non-zero elements of the diamagnetic and paramagnetic parts of the atomic magnetic susceptibility tensors are reported for nucleic acid bases and for the conjugated parts of some intercalating agents. These quantities are necessary for the computation of the contribution of the local magnetic anisotropy to the intermolecular shielding which is produced by this type of molecule. The intensities of the ring currents as well as the radii of the conjugated rings are reported for these compounds so that the contribution of the magnetic anisotropy of these molecules to the chemical shift of any nucleus located at any point in space may be computed in an NMR study.  相似文献

Summary The capillary rise of aqueous solutions of anionic wetting agents into a compacted powder of an organic chromium complex is discussed on the basis of the Washburn-Rideal equation expanded to account for the porous structure parameters.At the porosity 1 —/6, corresponding to the loosest packing of monodisperse spheres the penetration rate is found to be mostly governed by the effective tensions operative at the moving three phase line of contact in case no deflocculation intervenes.

Heavy-atom tunneling limits the lifetime and observability of bicyclo[4.1.0]hepta-2,4,6-triene, a key intermediate in the rearrangement of phenylcarbene. Bicyclo[4.1.0]hepta-2,4,6-triene had been proposed as the primary intermediate of the rearrangement of phenylcarbene, but despite many efforts evaded its characterization even in cryogenic matrices. By introducing fluorine substituents into the ortho-positions of the phenyl ring of phenylcarbene, the highly strained cyclopropene 1,5-difluorobicyclo[4.1.0]hepta-2,4,6-triene becomes stable enough to be characterized in argon matrices. However, even at 3 K this cyclopropene is only metastable and rearranges via heavy-atom tunneling to the corresponding cycloheptatetraene. Calculations suggest that fluorination is necessary to slow down the tunneling rearrangement of the bicycloheptatriene. The parent bicycloheptatriene rapidly rearranges via heavy-atom tunneling and therefore cannot be detected under matrix isolation conditions.  相似文献

Self-supported translucent films constituted of semi-inorganic polymeric materials were prepared by sol-gel process from poly(phenylsilsesquioxane) (PPSQ) and poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS), modified by diphenylsilanediol (DPS), phenyltriethoxysilane (PTES) and/or tetraethoxysilane (TEOS). These materials were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA). Permeability to N2, O2, CH4 and CO2 and selectivity for a specific gas pair were investigated using the time-lag method. In the gas separation process high permeability and selectivity coefficients were observed, particularly for the membrane containing DPS and PTES as additives, which presented potential applications in the separation of CO2/CH4 and CO2/N2. The materials also showed good thermal stability, which could be correlated to the relative amounts between di-functional (D), tri-functional (T) and tetra-functional (Q) silicon units.  相似文献

Plants of Citrus aurantifolia grown in a greenhouse without solar UV radiation (UVR) were transferred outdoors to evaluate the effect of solar UV-B radiation (UVBR, 280–315 nm) in prior-developed leaves, constituted by apical bud and those fully expanded before being taken outdoors, and post-developed leaves, formed by those expanded outdoors. Results demonstrated that over a 40 d outdoor period leaf chlorophyll content and distribution pattern were different with and without solar UVBR. Chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll contents in both treatments were higher in prior-developed leaves than in post-developed ones. However, highest values were observed in prior-developed leaves under solar UVBR, whereas in post-developed leaves an opposite trend was observed. Carotenoids content in prior-developed leaves was higher with solar UVBR, whereas in post-developed leaves there were no significant differences in both with and without solar UVBR. In addition, prior-developed leaves under solar UVBR accumulated flavonoids, but not anthocyanins. Growth parameters (e.g. DW, DW/FW ratio, LMA, plant height, length and width of foliar lamina) did not show significant differences between plants grown with and without solar UVBR. Thus, our results demonstrated that C. aurantifolia leaves exhibited a different sensibility to solar UVBR according to development stage in relation to photosynthetic pigments and UV-B absorbing compounds production. In addition, the solar UVBR was not necessary as inductor of photosynthetic protection mechanisms in a short-time growth period. On the other hand, our results also demonstrated that solar UVBR acted as an effective feeding deterrent against citrus leafminer.  相似文献

The compound 5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole-thiol (ATT) was anchored onto silica gel surfaces by homogeneous and heterogeneous routes. Both silica modification methodologies resulted in similar products, named SiCTT and SiATT, respectively. These materials were characterized by infrared and Raman spectroscopies, superficial area and elemental analysis as well as 13C and 29Si NMR spectroscopy. Elemental analysis proved that the material SiCTT presented a higher ATT immobilization than SiATT, with values of 0.73 and 0.65 mmol g−1, respectively. NMR, Raman and infrared spectroscopy corroborate to confirm the immobilization of ATT on both surfaces. Raman spectroscopy showed that the reaction of the ATT with silylant agent or pre-modified silica occurred by the thiol group, resulting in a surface with two sulfur groups and one free amine group able to complex soft and hard acids.  相似文献

An experimental method is described for the phase determination of x-ray reflections from noncentrosymmetric crystals. This method results from considerations on the phase dependence of line profiles in three-beam reflection-type diffractions for wavelength above and below a critical absorption edge E of the heaviest constituent atom in the crystals. A relationS p =S L ·S R for phase determination is derived theoretically and verified experimentally for< E ,S p being the sign of the sine of invariant phase,S L the sign defined from the line profile, andS R determined by the rotation of the crystal lattice.  相似文献
