Owing to a wide range of industrial applications and fundamental importance, delafossite compounds have gathered tremendous interest in research community. In this study, the formation of hexagonal nanoplates of AgInO2 mainly dominated by (00l) facets with no metallic Ag impurity, reported using a facile hydrothermal route at 180 °C using KOH as mineralizer by adopting a factorial design approach. Rietveld analysis of the powder XRD pattern and SAED confirms the rhombohedral system of AgInO2. FE-SEM image shows a uniform hexagonal plate-like morphology with an average width of about 300 nm and thickness of 70 nm. XPS and EDX analysis confirm potassium ion free AgInO2. A specific surface area of about 48.5 m2 g−1 is arrived from N2 adsorption studies. Temperature-dependent AC impedance measurements revealed an activation energy of 0.24 eV/f.u. Further, TG-DTA studies found that the compound is stable in air up to 595 °C.  相似文献

Attention has shifted from the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC) to chemoprevention using aspirin and folic acid as agents capable of preventing the onset of colon cancer. However, no sensitive analytical method exists to simultaneously quantify the two drugs when released from polymer‐based nanoparticles. Thus, a rapid, highly sensitive method of high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis to simultaneously detect low quantities of aspirin (hydrolyzed to salicylic acid, the active moiety) and folic acid released from biodegradable polylactide‐co‐glycolide (PLGA) copolymer nanoparticles was developed. Analysis was done on a reversed‐phase C18 column using a photodiode array detector at wavelengths of 233 nm (salicylic acid) and 277 nm (folic acid). The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile–0.1% trifluoroacetic acid mixture programmed for a 30 min gradient elution analysis. In the range of 0.1–100 μg/mL, the assay showed good linearity for salicylic acid (R2 = 0.9996) and folic acid (R2 = 0.9998). The method demonstrated good reproducibility, intra‐ and inter‐day precision and accuracy (99.67, 100.1%) and low values of detection (0.03, 0.01 μg/mL) and quantitation (0.1 and 0.05 μg/mL) for salicylic acid and folic acid, respectively. Four new macrocyclic dinuclear dibutyltin(IV) dithiocarbamate complexes of the type [Bu2Sn(dtc)]2, where dtc = hexane‐1,6‐diylbis(4‐fluorobenzyldithiocarbamate) anion ( 1 ), hexane‐1,6‐diylbis(4‐chlorobenzyldithiocarbamate) anion ( 2 ), hexane‐1,6‐diylbis(furfuryldithiocarbamate) anion ( 3 ) and hexane‐1,6‐diylbis(pyrrole‐2‐ylmethyldithiocarbamate) anion ( 4 ), have been prepared. The dithiocarbamate ligands efficiently self‐assemble with Bu2Sn(IV) to form bimetallic 26‐membered macrocycles. All the complexes have been characterized using elemental analysis, infrared and NMR (1H and 13C) spectroscopies and X‐ray crystallography. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis of all the complexes confirms the formation of the dinuclear metallomacrocycles in which dithiocarbamate ligands are asymmetrically bound to the tin atoms. The coordination sphere around the tin atom in 1 – 4 can be described as a skew trapezoidal bipyramid. The dimensions of the cavity of the macrocycles of 1 – 4 are ca 8.0 × 9.0 Å2. Complexes 1 – 4 were evaluated for their in vitro anticancer activity against MCF‐7 and HL‐60 cells. Complexes 1 and 2 are more active against MCF‐7 and HL‐60. Thermal decomposition of 1 and 4 yielded tin sulfides. They were characterized using powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD), high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy and UV diffuse reflectance and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopies. PXRD studies reveal that the as‐prepared tin sulfides are composed of orthorhombic phase of SnS.  相似文献

The distribution of ladder variables is obtained for the class of processes with stationary independent increments for which they are almost surely positive. This result is used to derive some related distributions. Three optically active liquid crystal (LC) homomeric dipeptides, in particular, a pair of enantiomers and a diastereomer formed by joining two half-disc-like entities through a dipeptide spacer comprising L-L, D-D and L-D valine residues, have been synthesised and characterised. Hydrogen-bond-directed self-assembly of these non-discoid supramolecules results in the formation columnar (Col) LC phase. They form a stable organo gel in polar organic solvents through intermolecular hydrogen bond, and their scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) images reveal the presence of entangled network. The interaction of these homomeric dipeptides with nanaoparticles (silica species) has also been investigated by SEM images and UV-visible experiments.  相似文献

In this article, the development of geometry dependent resistance model by considering contact resistance and natural convection effects are used to estimate the effective thermal conductivity of two-phase materials based on the unit cell approach. The algebraic equations have been derived based on isotherm approach for 2-D and 3-D spatially periodic medium. Comparison study has been made between developed models and experimental data. Mumbai Harbour Bay (MHB) is a recipient of low level treated effluents from BARC, Trombay. In addition, the Bay is also a recipient of domestic and industrial wastes from the city of Mumbai and adjoining areas. The average value of uranium concentration reported for Indian Bay water at Tarapur and Mumbai is ~3.0 ppb which is comparable with the reported value for Arabian sea. As such the global average is reported to be ~3.3 ppb by Oceanologists. The present study deals with the distribution of uranium in seawater of MHB. The uranium activity in MHB by alpha spectrometry was found to be between 1.0 and 4.4 ppb with an average concentration of 2.5 ppb which is comparable with the earlier reported average activity of 2.6 ppb in the MHB as well as those reported globally. To compare the results obtained by alpha spectrometry, uranium estimation was also carried out using Laser fluorimeter and the levels of uranium concentration have ranged between 0.8 and 4.9 ppb with an average concentration of 2.7 ppb.  相似文献
