A quantitative method using silica gel 60F254 high performance thin layer chromatography plates, automated bandwise sample application, and automated visible mode densitometric
method has been developed for the determination of 24β-ethylcholesta-5,22E,25-triene-3β-ol (ECTO) in the aerial part of Clerodendrum phlomidis. ECTO was used as a chemical marker for the standardization of C. phlomidis plant extracts. The separation was performed on silica gel 60F254 TLC plates using chloroform-methanol (98.5: 1.5, v/v) as mobile phase. The quantitation of ECTO was carried out using the densitometric reflection/absorption mode at 650 nm after
post chromatographic derivatization with anisaldehyde reagent. A precise and accurate quantification can be performed in the
linear working concentration range of 150–400 ng band−1 with good correlation (r
2 = 0.996). The method was validated for peak purities, precision, robustness, limit of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ),

We introduce an algorithm to solve the secular equation that arises in the time independent multimode expansion of the quadratic vibronic coupling problem in parallel. The implementation can handle expansions of arbitrary length, with the open-ended character of the algorithm achieved through the use of fine grained parallelism to partition the trial vectors. The characteristics of the algorithm are discussed and its utility is illustrated by determining a model photoelectron spectrum of the ethoxy radical (C2H5O) using a vibronic expansion involving more than 1 billion vibronic basis states. This calculation also represents the first determination of a photoelectron spectrum obtained using a diabatic Hamiltonian obtained with a recently introduced ab initio surface reshaping procedure. 相似文献

Photocatalysis is a defendable manner for production of several organic chemicals, energy and its storage from solar energy. For the evolution of metal free, cost-effective catalyst a 2D composite has been appear as a photocatalyst. Here, we had reported the synthesis of a light harvesting composite as a photocatalyst which was assembled by a poly-condensation mechanism between graphitic carbon nitride and tetrakis(4-nitrophenyl) porphyrin and the resulting composite manifest the excellent light harvesting properties, suitable energy band and low charge recombination. The photocatalyst [(NO2)4TPP@g-C3N4] enables the efficient photocatalytic production of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) from consumed NAD+ also the production of organic chemicals like 4-methoxybenzylimines from 4-methoxybenzylamines. The photocatalytic efficiency of the photocatalyst was estimated by the percentage of NADH regeneration and the percentage yield of organic transformations. It shows the tetrakis(4-nitrophenyl) porphyrin could enhance the charge transfer capacity of graphitic carbon nitride which shows excellent photocatalysis activities and organic transformations. 相似文献

The metals intake through tobacco smoking is associated with adverse effects for human health. The present study was aimed to understand the effects of biri smoking on smoker’s serum metal profile. Seven metals, cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn), were analysed in serum samples of 20 biri smokers and 20 non-smokers from North India. The Cd, Ni, Pb, Cr and Cu concentrations were higher while Fe and Zn concentrations were lower in smokers compared to non-smokers. The Fe concentrations, the highest among all metals, seemed to be unassociated with the smoking activity. This study indicated that biri smoking is a contributor to the body burden of Cd, Ni, Cu and Cr in the smoker’s body. The Cd, Ni, Cu and Fe concentrations are non-significantly associated with the age of smokers at p < 0.01 significance level, whereas Pb and Cr concentrations increase and Zn concentrations decrease with the increase in the age of smokers. Serum metal concentrations in the smoker subjects of North India are higher compared to the results of other similar studies. This could be linked to the poor quality of tobacco used in biri. We recommend conducting more detailed and controlled studies in this regard as a smoker is also subjected to other sources of exposure to metals. 相似文献

Polymers are crucial constituents of modern electronic devices. They can be used in their pristine, composite or nanocomposite forms for several domestic and industrial applications with innumerable unique possibilities. Polymer nanocomposites have gained wide theoretical interest and numerous practical applications in diverse fields of science and technology as they bestow the materials not only with virtuous processability but also with exceptional functionalities. It is evidenced that the electrical conductance of polymer nanocomposite is governed by the conductive filler networks within the polymer matrix. Hence, insignificant variation in the conductive networks can result in noteworthy variations in the output electric signal of polymer nanocomposite. Exploiting this stimuli-responsive performance of conductive networks to the physical parameters, polymer nanocomposites can be harnessed to fabricate novel sensitive sensors to detect vital physical parameters viz.strain/stress, pressure, temperature, solvent or vapor. Technical and phenomenological studies on polymer nanocomposites are still enduring.Advanced explanations are being sought but the mechanisms governing the formation of several polymer nanocomposites are still topics of debate in the material science community. Their in-depth investigation requires copious scientific work. This review analytically sketches the synthesis, microstructures, physiochemical properties and the underlying mechanisms for stimuli-responsiveness to the physical parameters of the polymer nanocomposites as well as their applications in various sensitive sensors and detectors. Thus, it became evocative for this review to focus on their processing methodologies, physiochemical physiognomies, classification and probable potentials of polymer nanocomposites.This review primarily presents the current literature survey on polymer composites and the gap areas in the study encourages the objective of the present review article. Finally, the status, perspectives and the advantages of specific polymer nanocomposites at present are summarized. The attention of this review is drawn to the present trends, challenges and future scope in this field of study. Finally, the vital concern and future challenge in utilizing the stimulus responsive behavior of polymer nanocomposites to design versatile sensors for real time applications are elaborately discussed. 相似文献

Poly(phenylene ether) (PPE)/poly(amide-6) (PA6) blends are examined in light of the information provided by two-dimensional chromatography and chemorheology. Chromatography provides a snapshot of the blend composition in the finished material, while rheology presents us with a direct insight into the reactions taking place in the melt. Block copolymer formation is chromatographically confirmed for the blends prepared with a coupling agent, but also for the blend prepared without any coupling agent. No co-continuous morphology is observed by scanning electron microscope. Instead, a coarse structure of PPE droplets in the PA6 matrix is obtained for the blend prepared without coupling agent. This is explained by the combined effects of the low viscosity of PA6 and the inherently formed copolymers. The PPE domains are smaller in the blends prepared with the coupling agents. Their size is correlated with the copolymer formation, surface tension, and interphase relaxation time. The data evidence a complex system where reactions resulting in the formation of copolymer via coupling or grafting take place together with the extension of the PPE and condensation growth of the PA6 polymers. 相似文献

The purpose of the present paper is to introduce a Kantorovich modification of the q-analogue of the Stancu operators defined by Nowak (J Math Anal Appl 350:50–55, 2009). We study a local and a direct approximation theorem by means of the Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness. Further A-statistical convergence properties of these operators are investigated. Next, a bivariate generalization of these operators is introduced and its rate of convergence is discussed with the aid of the partial and complete modulus of continuity and the Peetre‘s K-functional. 相似文献
