In this paper, we present pilot-scale solar Photo-Fenton and TiO2 treatment of a model compound (α-methylphenylglycine) dissolved in 500 mg/l concentration in water. Not only contaminant disappearance and mineralisation were evaluated, but also enhancement of biodegradability. The solar photoreactors, composed of 4.16 m2 of compound parabolic collectors, had a total volume of 82 l (44.6 l illuminated). Treatment was successful with both Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) tested, but photo-Fenton was shown to be by far more efficient from the kinetic and practical point of view. To find out the conditions for biocompatibility using the AOPs as a pre-treatment, waste water after certain degradation time, unacclimated municipal sludge and mineral nutrients were placed together and evaluated by the Zahn-Wellens (Z-W) test. Biodegradability was enhanced (70% biodegradable) by both AOPs, but photo-Fenton was demonstrated to be more efficient, requiring a treatmen time one order of magnitude shorter than TiO2. Hydrogen peroxide management for reduced consumption and elimination prior to discharging water to the biotreatment step is also discussed in detail.  相似文献

A series of half-sandwich ruthenium(II) complexes containing κ3(N,N,N)-hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borate (κ3(N,N,N)-Tp) and the water-soluble phosphane 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane (PTA) [RuX{κ3(N,N,N)-Tp}(PPh3)2−n(PTA)n] (n = 2, X = Cl (1), n = 1, X = Cl (2), I (3), NCS (4), H (5)) and [Ru{κ3(N,N,N)-Tp}(PPh3)(PTA)L][PF6] (L = NCMe (6), PTA (7)) have been synthesized. Complexes containing 1-methyl-3,5-diaza-1-azonia-7-phosphaadamantane(m-PTA) triflate [RuCl{κ3(N,N,N)-Tp}(m-PTA)2][CF3SO3]2 (8) and [RuX{κ3(N,N,N)-Tp}(PPh3)(m-PTA)][CF3SO3] (X = Cl (9), H (10)) have been obtained by treatment, respectively, of complexes 1, 2 and 5 with methyl triflate. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis for complexes 1, 2 and 4 have been carried out. DNA binding properties by using a mobility shift assay and antimicrobial activity of selected complexes have been evaluated.  相似文献

Uric acid (UA) was determined in the presence of ascorbic acid (AA) by using a carbon paste electrode modified superficially by a β‐cyclodextrin film (CPE/β‐CD). The surface carbon paste electrode was prepared applying a 30 cycles potential program and using a 1 M HClO4+0.01 M β‐CD electrolytic solution. The UA and AA solutions were used to evaluate the electrode selectivity and sensitivity by cyclic voltammetric and amperometric methods. In these experiments the detection limit for UA was (4.6±0.01)×10?6 M and the RSD calculated from the amperometric curves was 10%. From the data obtained it was possible to quantify UA in the urine and saliva samples. Selective detection of UA was improved by formation of an inclusion complex between β‐CD and UA. The results show that the CPE/β‐CD is a good candidate due to its selectivity and sensitivity in the UA determination in complex samples like the biological fluids.  相似文献

Rapid leaching procedures by Pressurized Liquid Extraction (PLE) have been developed for As, Cd, Cr, Ni and Pb leaching from environmental matrices (marine sediment and soil samples). The Pressurized Liquid Extraction is completed after 16 min. The released elements by acetic acid Pressurized Liquid Extraction have been evaluated by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. The optimum multi-element leaching conditions when using 5.0 ml stainless steel extraction cells, were: acetic acid concentration 8.0 M, extraction temperature 100 °C, pressure 1500 psi, static time 5 min, flush solvent 60%, two extraction steps and 0.50 g of diatomaceous earth as dispersing agent (diatomaceous earth mass/sample mass ratio of 2). Results have showed that high acetic acid concentrations and high extraction temperatures increase the metal leaching efficiency. Limits of detection (between 0.12 and 0.5 μg g− 1) and repeatability of the over-all procedure (around 6.0%) were assessed. Finally, accuracy was studied by analyzing PACS-2 (marine sediment), GBW-07409 (soil), IRANT-12-1-07 (cambisol soil) and IRANT-12-1-08 (luvisol soil) certified reference materials (CRMs). These certified reference materials offer certified concentrations ranges between 2.9 and 26.2 μg g− 1 for As, from 0.068 to 2.85 μg g− 1 for Cd, between 26.4 and 90.7 μg g− 1 for Cr, from 9.3 to 40.0 μg g− 1 for Ni and between 16.3 and 183.0 μg g− 1 for Pb. Recoveries after analysis were between 95.7 and 105.1% for As, 96.2% for Cd, 95.2 and 100.6% for Cr, 95.7 and 103% for Ni and 94.2 and 105.5% for Pb.  相似文献

There is heterogeneity in the way cyanobacteria respond to P starvation and subsequently how they adapt to environments with low or fluctuating P concentrations. In this study, we have fused the promoterless lux operon luxCDABE to the promoter regions of Anabaena sp. PCC 7120 phoA genes putatively encoding alkaline phosphatases, phoA (all2843) and phoA-like (alr5291) and to the promoter region of one operon putatively encoding a high affinity phosphate transporter pst1 (all4575-4572). The self-bioluminescent strains constructed in this way, Anabaena AP (phoA promoter), Anabaena AP-L (phoA-like promoter), and Anabaena PST (pst1 promoter) have been used to study the expression of these genes in response to P starvation and P re-feeding with inorganic and organic phosphate sources. Our data showed that the pst1 promoter was activated at much higher level than the phoA-like promoter following P starvation; however, we did not observe activation of the phoA promoter. The P re-feeding experiments revealed that both strains, Anabaena (A.) PST and A. AP-L could be used as novel bioreporters of P availability in environmental samples. Both strains were used to estimate bioavailable P in environmental samples (fresh- and wastewaters) with a wide range of soluble P concentrations. The results indicated that most of the P in the water samples was in chemical forms available to the cyanobacterium; however there were some differences in the estimates given by both strains as A. PST appeared to be more adequate for the samples with the lowest P load while A. AP-L gave similar or even higher values of P concentrations than those chemically measured in samples with higher P load.  相似文献

In this work, a rapid and sensitive analytical multiresidue method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of 48 pesticides and 19 metabolites in waters (tap, leaching and sewage), using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) with triple quadrupole in selected reaction monitoring (SRM) mode. The procedure involves initial single phase extraction of samples with acetonitrile by sonication, followed by liquid-liquid partition aided by “salting out” process using NaCl. Matrix influence on recoveries was evaluated for the three waters. More than 50% of the compound presented very low signal suppression. The method presents good linearity over the range assayed 10-500 μg L−1 and the most frequent detection limits was 0.05 ng mL−1. The average recovery by the LC-MS/MS method obtained for these compounds varied from 74.6 to 111.2% with a relative standard deviation between 2.5 and 8.9%. The proposed method was used to determine pesticides levels in leaching water samples from 5 lysimeters from an experimental greenhouse located in Murcia.  相似文献

Enzymatic hydrolysis of seafood materials for isolating arsenic species (As(III), As(V), DMA and AsB) has been successfully performed by assisting the procedure with ultrasound energy (35 kHz) supplied by an ultrasound water-bath. The use of pepsin, as a proteolytic enzyme, under optimized operating conditions (pH 3.0, temperature 40 °C, enzyme to sample ratio of 0.3) led to an efficient assistance of the enzymatic process in a short period of time (from 4.0 to 30 min). The enzymatic extract was then subjected to a clean-up procedure based on ENVI-Carb™ solid phase extraction (SPE). An optimized anion exchange high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled to inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) permitted the fast separation (less than 15 min) of six different arsenic species (arsenite, As(III); arsenate, As(V); dimethylarsinic acid, DMA; and arsenobetaine, AsB; as well as monomethylarsonic acid, MMA; and arsenocholine, AsC) in a single run. Relative standard deviations (n = 11) of the over-all procedure were 7% for AsB and DMA, 11% for As(III) and 9% for MMA. HPLC–ICP-MS determinations were performed using aqueous calibrations covering arsenic concentrations of 0, 5, 10, 25, 100 and 200 μg L−1 (expressed as arsenic) for As(III), As(V), MMA, DMA and AsC; and 0, 125, 250, 500, 750, 1000 and 2000 μg L−1 (expressed as arsenic) for AsB. Germanium (5 μg L−1) was used as an internal standard. Analytical recoveries from the anion exchange column varied from 96 to 105% (enzymatic digests spiked with low target concentrations), from 97 to 104% (enzymatic digests spiked with intermediate target concentrations), and from 98 to 103% (enzymatic digests spiked with high target concentrations). The developed method was successfully applied to two certified reference materials (CRMs), DORM-2 and BCR 627, which offer certified AsB and DMA contents, and also to different seafood samples (mollusks, white fish and cold water fish). Good agreement between certified and found AsB concentrations was achieved when analyzing both CRMs; and also, between certified and found DMA concentrations in BCR 627. In addition, the sum of the different arsenic species concentrations found in most of the analyzed samples was statistically similar to the assessed total arsenic concentrations after a total sample matrix decomposition treatment.  相似文献

A new family of amine- and ammonium-terminated hyperbranched polycarbosilanes (PCS) and dendrimers has been synthesized. The functionalization of a polycarbosilane matrix was carried out with peripheral allyl groups by two strategies in the case of PCS: 1) hydrosilylation of allyl amines with PCS containing terminal Si-H bonds, or 2) hydrosilylation of PCS-allyl with an aminosilane. Dendrimers with terminal amine groups were synthesized by hydrosilylation of allydimethylamine. Quaternized systems with MeI are soluble and stable in water or other protic solvent. The antibacterial properties of the ammonium-terminated hyperbranched polycarbosilanes and dendrimers have been evaluated showing that they act as potent biocides against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains.  相似文献

The reaction of [NBu(4)](2)[(C(6)F(5))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pd(μ-PPh(2))(2)Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)] (1a) with [AgPPh(3)](+) results in the oxidation of two bridging diphenylphosphanides to give the 46e species [(PPh(3))(C(6)F(5))(2)Pt(2)(μ-P(2)Ph(2))Pd(μ-PPh(2))(μ-Ph(2)P(4)-P(3)Ph(2))Pt(1)(C(6)F(5))(2)] (3). Complex 3 displays two tetracoordinated terminal platinum centers and a central Pd atom that is bonded to three P atoms and that completes its coordination sphere by a rather long (3.237 ?) dative Pt(2) → Pd bond. Complex 3 is also obtained when [(R(F))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))Pd(μ-PPh(2))(μ-Ph(2)P-PPh(2))Pt(R(F))(2)] (2) is reacted with PPh(3). Analogously, the addition of PPh(2)Et, CO or pyridine to 2 affords the 46e complexes of general formula [(L)(C(6)F(5))(2)Pt(2)(μ-P(2)Ph(2))Pd(μ-PPh(2))(μ-Ph(2)P(4)-P(3)Ph(2))Pt(1)(C(6)F(5))(2)] (L = PPh(2)Et, 4; L = CO, 6; L = pyridine, 7). The geometry around Pt(2) is determined by the bulkiness of L bonded to Pt. Thus, in complexes 3 (L = PPh(3)) and 4 (L = PPh(2)Et), the ligand L occupies the trans position with respect to μ-P(2), and in 6 (L = CO), the ligand L occupies the cis position with respect to μ-P(2). Interestingly, for 7 (L = py), both isomers 7-trans and 7-cis, could be isolated. Although 4 did not react with an excess of PPh(2)Et, the reaction with the less sterically demanding CH(3)CN ligand resulted in the opening of the Pt(2)-P(2)-Pd cycle with formation of the saturated 48e species [(PPh(2)Et)(C(6)F(5))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))Pd(MeCN)(μ-PPh(2))(μ-Ph(2)P-PPh(2))Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)] (8). The saturated 48e complex [(CO)(C(6)F(5))(2)Pt(μ-PPh(2))Pd(MeCN)(μ-PPh(2))(μ-Ph(2)P-PPh(2))Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)] (9) was obtained by acetonitrile addition to 6. Beside the hindered rotation of the pentafluorophenyl groups and a flip-flop motion of the Pd-P-Pt(1)-P-P ring observed at low T, a rotation about the Pt(2)-P(2) bond and a P-C oxidative addition/reductive elimination process occur for 3 and 4 at room temperature. A "through-space" (19)F-(31)P spin-spin coupling between an ortho-F and the P(4) is observed for complexes 3 and 4, having the C(6)F(5) groups bonded to Pt(2) in mutually trans position. The XRD structures of complexes 3, 6, 7-trans, 7-cis, 8, and 9 are described.  相似文献
