A new method to prepare the polymer electrolytes for lithium‐ion batteries is proposed. The polymer electrolytes were prepared by reacting poly(phosphazene)s (MEEPP) having 2‐(2‐methoxyethoxy)ethoxy and 2‐(phenoxy)ethoxy units with 2,4,6‐tris[bis(methoxymethyl)amino]‐1,3,5‐triazine (CYMEL) as a cross‐linking agent. This method is simple and reliable for controlling the cross‐linking extent, thereby providing a straightforward way to produce a flexible polymer electrolyte membrane. The 6 mol % cross‐linked polymer electrolyte (ethylene oxide unit (EO)/Li = 24:1) exhibited a maximum ionic conductivity of 5.36 × 10?5 S cm?1 at 100 °C. The 7Li linewidths of solid‐state static NMR showed that the ionic conductivity was strongly related to polymer segment motion. Moreover, the electrochemical stability of the MEEPP polymer electrolytes increased with an increasing extent of cross‐linking, the highest oxidation voltage of which reached as high as 7.0 V. Moreover, phenoxy‐containing polyphosphazenes are very useful model polymers to study the relationship between the polymer flexibility; that is, the cross‐linking extent and the mobility of metal ions. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two seed‐mediated approaches for the growth of silver nanocubes in aqueous solution have been developed. Addition of a silver‐seed solution to a mixture of cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC), silver trifluoroacetate, and ascorbic acid and heating the solution at 60 °C for 1.5 h produces uniform Ag nanocubes with tunable sizes from 23 to 60 nm by simply adjusting the volume of silver‐seed solution introduced. Alternatively, the silver‐seed solution can be injected into a mixture of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), silver nitrate, copper sulfate, and ascorbic acid and heated to 80 °C for 2 h to generate 46 nm silver nanocubes. Plate‐like Ag nanocrystals exposing {111} surfaces can be synthesized by reducing Ag(NH3)2+ with ascorbic acid in a CTAC solution. Relatively large Ag nanocubes were converted to cuboctahedral Au/Ag and Au nanocages and nanoframes with empty {111} faces through a galvanic replacement reaction. The nanocages showed a progressive plasmonic band red‐shift with increasing Au content. The nanocages exhibited high and stable photothermal efficiency with solution temperatures quickly reaching beyond 100 °C when irradiated with an 808 nm laser for large heat and water vapor generation. 相似文献

We use a microfluidic cell culture chip equipped with pneumatic microvalves to analyze the paracrine loop between lung cancer cells and fibroblasts. In order to assess the cellular responses in the paracrine loop, we measure the migration speeds of cancer cells and the aspect ratios of fibroblasts which reflect the phenotype of myofibroblasts. With well-controlled interaction sequences between these two types of cells, we verify that the cytokines from cancer cells effectively stimulate the fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. The cytokines from myofibroblasts, rather than fibroblasts, increase the migration speeds of cancer cells. We confirm that the transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) is involved in the interaction between cancer cells and fibroblasts, and we also interrupt this paracrine loop in the cell culture chip by inhibiting the TGF-β1 receptors on fibroblasts. 相似文献

Programmable 3D cell assembly under physiological pH conditions is achieved using electrodeposited stimuli-responsive alginate gels in a microfluidic device, with parallel sidewall electrodes enabling direct observation of the cell assembly. Electrically triggered assembly and subsequent viability of mammalian cells is demonstrated, along with spatially programmable, multi-address assembly of different strains of E. coli cells. In this paper, we investigate the employment of a ternary line coding technique based on Ungerboeck's trellis-coded method in asynchronous optical CDMA systems. The ternary coding we use is predicated upon the equal-weight orthogonal (EWO) scheme. Each user transmits two mutually orthogonal signature sequences to represent “+1” and “−1”, respectively, and nothing is transmitted for “0”. The receiver employs a maximum-likelihood soft-decoder to select the path with minimum Euclidean distance as the preferred path. This trellis ternary coding scheme applies set partitioning with partially overlapping subsets to increase the free Euclidean distance, which considerably improves system performance. Furthermore, due to line coding technique, such scheme comprises sufficient clock information, and thus benefits for baseband timing extraction (i.e. clock recovery). Numerical results reveal that the proposed trellis ternary coding scheme can significantly reduce the error floor and allow more active users to be accommodated in the network. 相似文献

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin films were deposited on flexible polycarbonate (PC) substrates by radio frequency (RF) reactive magnetron sputtering. The target was metallic titanium, argon was the plasma gas and oxygen was the reactive gas. Taguchi’s method, which uses an L9 (34) orthogonal array, signal-to-noise ratio and analysis of variance (ANOVA), was employed to study the performance of the deposition process. The effects of the deposition parameters on the structure, morphology and photocatalytic performance of the TiO2 films were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction, and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy. Experiments varied RF power (50, 100, 150 W), deposition time (2, 3, 4 h), O2/(Ar + O2) argon/oxygen ratios (40, 60, 80%) and substrate temperatures (room, 80, 120 °C), to optimize the photoinduced decomposition of methylene blue (MB). The present study aimed to examine the size of the acoustic vowel space in talkers who had previously been identified as having slow and fast habitual speaking rates [Tsao, Y.-C. and Weismer, G. (1997) J. Speech Lang. Hear. Res. 40, 858-866]. Within talkers, it is fairly well known that faster speaking rates result in a compression of the vowel space relative to that measured for slower rates, so the current study was completed to determine if the same differences in the size of the vowel space occur across talkers who differ significantly in their habitual speaking rates. Results indicated that there was no difference in the average size of the vowel space for slow vs fast talkers, and no relationship across talkers between vowel duration and formant frequencies. One difference between the slow and fast talkers was in intertalker variability of the vowel spaces, which was clearly greater for the slow talkers, for both speaker sexes. Results are discussed relative to theories of speech production and vowel normalization in speech perception. 相似文献

We study SU(N) scalar quantum chromodynamics in two space-time dimensions in the large-N limit. This is the model of color gauge fields interacting with scalar quarks. We find that the consensual properties of four-dimensional QCD, i.e. infrared slavery, quark confinement, the charmonium picture, etc. are all realized. Moreover, the current in this model mimics nicely the behavior of the current in four-dimensional QCD, in contrast to the original model of 't Hooft. 相似文献
