A procedure has been developed in previous papers for constructing exact solutions of the equations of linear elasticity in a thick plate of inhomogeneous isotropic linearly elastic material in which the elastic moduli depend in any specified manner on a coordinate normal to the plane of the plate. The essential idea is that any solution of the classical thin plate or classical laminate theory equations (which are two-dimensional theories) generates, by straightforward substitutions, a solution of the three-dimensional elasticity equations for the homogeneous material. Recently this theory has been formulated in terms of functions of a complex variable. It was shown that the displacement and stress fields in the inhomogeneous material could be expressed in terms of four complex potentials that are analytic functions of the complex variable ζ = x + iy in the mid-plane of the plate. However, the analysis performed so far applies only to the case of a plate with traction-free upper and lower faces. The present paper extends these solutions to the case where the plate is bent by a pressure distribution applied to a face. 相似文献

Wave enhanced runaway generation is expected to play an important role in the conversion of plasma current into runaway current during major disruptions. The fast electrons created by electron cyclotron heating (ECH) were used to study this issue in KSTAR. It is found that the fast electrons driven by ECH can enhance runaway production in the flat top phase with high loop voltage. The runaway current in disruptions was not enhanced by the ECH produced fast electron population due to the strong magnetic fluctuations which inhibited the generation of runaway electrons. It is found that a complete loss of existing REs during thermal quench has occurred in KSTAR limiter configuration discharges. 相似文献

In this paper the basic equations governing the plane strain or generalized plane stress deformations of a linear elastic material reinforced by a single family of parallel inextensible fibres are deduced. It is found that a single system of equations will cover all cases. The title compound, cis‐dichloridobis(triethylphosphane)platinum(II) chloroform monosolvate, [PtCl2(C6H15P)2]·CHCl3, has been obtained from ligand scrambling in the cis‐[PtCl2(Cyp2PCl)(PEt3)] (Cyp = cyclopentyl) system in CHCl3 solvent. Unlike the two previously reported unsolvated polymorphs, which are both monoclinic, the compound crystallizes in an orthorhombic setting. Furthermore, the system exhibits a reversible temperature‐dependent structural phase transition, coupling a reduction in anisotropic displacement parameters and a reduction in crystallographic symmetry on cooling. The high‐temperature phase adopts space group Pnma with the complex and solvent molecules sitting across a crystallographic mirror plane (Z′ = 0.5). Tandem carbonyl ylide formation-1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of α-diazo N-acetyl-tetrahydro-β-carbolin-1-one derivatives occur efficiently in the presence of a dirhodium catalyst to afford bimolecular cycloadducts in high yield. The Rh(II)-catalyzed reaction also takes place intramolecularly to give products derived from trapping of the carbonyl ylide dipole with a tethered alkene. Nanoparticle surfaces functionalized with proteins or other biomolecules provide a mechanism for interfacing the unique properties of nanomaterials with biological samples. In most of these studies, the biomolecule is conjugated to a gold nanoparticles (AuNP) surface through the thiol group of native or introduced cysteine residues. Here we demonstrate the direct attachment of a hexa-histidine tagged (His(6)) peptide to a 1.5 nm AuNP. Binding occurs via a specific interaction between the Ne of the His imidazole, forming a 1:1 stoichiometric complex. Given the widespread use of histidine tags in producing recombinant proteins, this approach promises to expand the applications of AuNP in biological applications. 相似文献
