Synthesis and characterization of novel conjugated polymers based on 3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione moiety

Three novel conjugated polymers bearing 3,4-bis（4-hexylthiophen-2-yl）-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione unit in their main chain have been synthesized successfully in good yields through Suzuki or Stille coupling reaction.Their molecular structures have been confirmed by FT-IR,¹H NMR and ¹³C NMR.All these copolymers exhibit broad and strong absorption bands in UV-vis region,and their optical band gaps are calculated to be 1.6-2.0 eV.suggesting that they have good coverage with the solar spectrum.These polymers have good thermostability and solubility in common organic solvents.Moreover,all these objective macromolecules possess high electron affinity of～3.8 eV determined from cyclic voltammetry measurement,implying that they are potential n-type polymeric photovoltaic materials.

Properties of ionic liquids containing silver(I) or protic alkylethylenediamine cations with a bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide anion

Ionic liquids of an N-alkylethylenediamine-silver(I) complex cation (alkyl=hexyl, 2-ethylhexyl, and octyl) or a protic N-alkylethylenediaminium cation (alkyl=butyl, hexyl, 2-ethylhexyl, octyl, decyl, and dodecyl) with a bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide counter anion (Ag-ILs and PILs, respectively) were prepared and their physicochemical properties were investigated. The trend of solidification decreased in the order octyl?hexyl>2-ethylhexyl for the Ag-ILs, and butyl>dodecyl>decyl>octyl>hexyl?2-ethylhexyl for the PILs. The diffusion coefficients of the cations indicated stronger intermolecular interactions in PILs than in the Ag-ILs because of hydrogen-bonding networks, and it has been revealed that the intermolecular interactions increase in the order, hexyl相似文献

Two New Eremophilenolides from Cacalia pilgeriana

Two new eremophilenolides, 1β-hydroxy-2β-methylsenecioyloxyeremophil-7 （11）-en- 8β （12）-olide （1）, 1β-hydroxy-2β-methylsenecioyloxy-8α-methoxyeremophil-7 （11）-en-8β （12）- olide （2）, were isolated from the roots of Cacalia pilgeriana. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods and X-ray diffraction analysis.     

Optical Generation of mm-Wave Signal Through Optoelectronic Phase-Locked Loop

In this paper, we propose a scheme for the generation of low phase noise tunable mm-wave signal by beating two lightwaves in a photodiode. These two lightwaves are made phase coherent by an optoelectronic phase locked loop.Calculated mm-wave power at a frequency of 60 GHz is found to be -4 dBm.     

Machine-Shop Problems: An Operational Research Approach

Production planning and scheduling in a batch production environment presents management with many problems, ranging from long-term capital investment in machine tools to short-term batch sequencing. This paper, which is aimed at the production manager, introduces the general concept of model building and then discusses the more specific technique of computer simulation modelling. A simple example of the latter is used to illustrate the basic properties of such a model and then the actual model currently being used is described. The possible applications of such models are discussed and developed. Finally, a case study is presented which shows how the model has been employed in an actual production environment.     

An iterative solution to the generalized Towers of Hanoi problem

An iterative solution to the generalized Towers of Hanoi problem, and its derivation are presented. In this generalization, one or more towers, consisting of a total ofn discs, are given as an initial legal configuration, and the task is to move them to a specified peg under the usual restrictions. An analysis of the iterative algorithm is also discussed.     

The fabrication of superhydrophobic copper films by a low-pressure-oxidation method

The lotus-leaf-like superhydrophobic copper was fabricated by a facile two-step method without the chemical modification, on which the water contact angle can reach 158° and the water-sliding angle is less than 10°. Reversible superhydrophobicity to superhydrophilicity transition was observed and controlled by alternation of UV irradiation and dark storage. More interestingly, the superhydrophobic surface exhibits superoleophilicity and all those properties can be well used in reversible switch, separating the water and oil and so on.
