Modified clay/polyethersulfone (PES) mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) were prepared by acid activated montmorillonite (AA-MMT) with different concentrations and used to eliminate dyes and remove heavy metals from aqueous solution.The morphology and physiochemical properties of prepared clay nanoparticles and MMMs were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy (SEM),enegy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis,atomic force microscopy (AFM),contact angle measurement and fouling studies.The filtration study showed that removal of dyes and heavy metals was strongly dependent on pH so that dyes with positive and negative charges showed different separation efficiency in acidic and alkaline conditions.The modified membranes possessed better heavy metal removal in acidic and alkaline pHs.When the rejection of heavy metals was measured in an alkaline environment,it was observed that the rejection had a great increase compared to the neutral values for Zn2+ and Ni2+ ions,while rejection of Cu2+ and Cd2+ did not undergo significant changes.So it can be concluded that modified membranes show good selectivity for elimination of Zn2+ and Ni2+ ions with respect to other cations. 相似文献

In this article, we present a new general algorithm for solving the split common fixed point problem in an infinite dimensional Hilbert space, which is to find a point which belongs to the common fixed point of a family of quasi-nonexpansive mappings such that its image under a linear transformation belongs to the common fixed point of another family of quasi-nonexpansive mappings in the image space. We establish the strong convergence for the algorithm to find a unique solution of the variational inequality, which is the optimality condition for the minimization problem. The aim of this article is to present and analyze first‐order system least‐squares spectral method for the Stokes equations in two‐dimensional spaces. The Stokes equations are transformed into a first‐order system of equations by introducing vorticity as a new variable. The least‐squares functional is then defined by summing up the ‐ and ‐norms of the residual equations. The ‐norm in the least‐squares functional is replaced by suitable operator. Continuous and discrete homogeneous least‐squares functionals are shown to be equivalent to ‐norm of velocity and ‐norm of vorticity and pressure for spectral Galerkin and pseudospectral method. This work considers the propagation of light in a semitransparent layer of vascular tissue, submitted to radiative boundary conditions. The solution procedure must provide accurate light distribution in the layer, so a discrete ordinates method based on the exact transport theory is carried out. An advantage of this method is its ability to account easily for various boundary conditions as well as optical heterogeneity. The influences of anisotropic scattering, optical discontinuity, optical parameters of tissue and refractive index on radiant fluence rate are investigated carefully.
