Reaction of pentamethylcyclopentadienyl(pentachloro)disilane (2), prepared from hexachlorodisilane and potassium pentamethylcyclopentadienide (Cp*K), with a further equivalent of Cp*K leads selectively to the title compound Cp* 2 Si 2 Cl 4 (3) which was characterized by NMR and X-ray structural data. Dehalogenation of 3 with four equivalents of sodium naphthalenide offers an alternative route for the synthesis of decamethylsilicocene (1). A method for the determination of trace impurities (U, Th, Ca, Fe, Cr, Ni, Cu, and Cd) in the refractory metals molybdenum and tungsten with isotope dilution mass Spectrometry (IDMS) has been developed. This method enables determinations of uranium and thorium down to the lowest pg/g level with high precision and accuracy. Selective chromatographic, extractive and electrolytic methods for the trace-matrix separation were combined with positive thermal ionization mass spectrometry. Different samples of high purity (4N) and of ultra high purity (UHP) materials for advanced technologies were analysed. The detection limits reached are (in ng/g): U 0.006, Th 0.008, Ca 10, Fe 19, Cr 0.5, Ni 0.6, Cu 2.7, and Cd 0.12. A comparison of results with other sensitive analytical methods (ICP-MS, GDMS, SIMS) makes obvious the urgent necessity of a reliable calibration method like IDMS because the analytical results obtained by the other methods often spread over a wide range.  相似文献

The effects of the pressure drop across the column on retention and efficiency in SFC have been studied. Numerical methods are described which enable the prediction of hold-up time and pressure drop in both packed and open tubular columns. Predictions of both hold-up time and pressure drop are in good agreement with experimental data. The density gradient along the column can be calculated using the numerical methods and a procedure is described which enables the calculation of the overall capacity factors of the solutes from the density profile in the column. Significant variations of the capacity factor are observed along the column. The effect of the density gradient along the column on local diffusivity and dispersion is studied. The column efficiency in systems with significant pressure drops is affected by changes in: the linear velocity of the mobile phase; the diffusion coefficients; and the capacity factors of the solutes along the column. The overall efficiency of the chromatographic system can be calculated if, as is the case for open tubular columns, adequate plate height equations are available.  相似文献

Summary Bis-(5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline)platinum(II) dichloride and diperchlorate have been prepared. The reaction between the parent cation and hydroxide ion has been studied using 1 FI n.m.r. spectroscopy and found to involve attack at the ligand. The bis-(2,2-bipyridyl)platinum(II) ion has been shown to be highly reactive towards methoxide ion. The dissociation of a 2,2-bipyridyl ligand is preceded by attack at the ligand.Part XI: R. D. A total synthesis of cyclothialidine ( 1 ), a new DNA gyrase inhibitor isolated from Streptomyces filipinensis, is described. The synthetic concept was tested by preparing the lactone 13 (Scheme 2) which contains the characteristic bicyclic core entity of 1 . Key features of the synthesis of 1 are: preparation of 3,5-dihydroxy-2,6-dimethylbenzoic acid ( 23 ) from 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid ( 19 ) by two consecutive Mannich aminomethylation/hydrogenation sequences; benzylic N-bromosuccinimide bromination of an ester derivative 25 thereof and its subsequent coupling with Boc-Ser-Cys-OMe ( 11 ); cyclization of the ω-hydroxy acid 29 29 to the 12-membered lactone 30 using preferably Mitsunobu conditions; completion of the peptidic side chains of 1 using Boc strategy (Scheme 4). Optically pure cis-N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-3-hydroxy-L -proline ((–)- 14 ) was obtained by resolution of the racemate via an efficient reaction sequence containing a lipase-catalyzed enantiospecific acetate hydrolysis (Scheme 3). The structure of natural 1 was confirmed by comparison with the synthetic material. The synthetic route described provides also easy access to analogues of 1 , e.g., via the intermediate 30 .  相似文献

In the crystalline N,N′-dimethylated uracil derivatives 2a , b , the kinetically stabilized enol group forms an H-bond with O? C(4), as demonstrated by increased shielding of specifically labelled 2a and 2b in the 17O-NMR spectra (Δδ(17O)(C(4)—O) ? ?30 ppm); absence of dilution and solvent effects show that the H-bridge is intra-molecular, forming an eight-membered chelate ring. The (apparent) shielding effect Δδ(17O) in 2a, b is larger than that in salicylamide. The strong H-bond explains why the enols 2 , in spite of the absence of steric hindrance, are kinetically stabilized.  相似文献

The [M]+˙ → [M ? Cl]+ reaction in a series of m- and p-X substituted chlorobenzenes has been studied, utilizing a simple kinetic approach, comparison of metastable ion relative abundances, and by measurement of ionization and appearance potentials. All evidence obtained is consistent with rearrangement prior to cleavage in the molecular ions, in which substituent position becomes effectively randomized. These findings are related to known hydrogen randomization reactions occurring in either the molecular ion or [M ? Cl] ion of chlorobenzenes. Mechanisms involving carbon scrambling via such species as ionized benzvalenes or prismanes, or ring-opening to isomeric acyclic molecular ions in which hydrogen randomization might occur can be entertained, but mechanisms involving simple hydrogen shifts in the intact benzene ring appear less likely.  相似文献

Singlet oxygen has been detected in single nerve cells by its weak 1270 nm phosphorescence (a1deltag --> X3sigmag-) upon irradiation of a photosensitizer incorporated in the cell. Thus, one can now consider the application of direct optical imaging techniques to mechanistic studies of singlet oxygen at the single-cell level.  相似文献

We describe the development of photolabile protecting groups based on the 3,4,5-trimethoxyphenacyl group (TMP). Orthogonal safety-catches were created by introducing an acid-activatible dimethyl ketal (AA-TMP) and an oxidatively activatible 1,3-dithiane (OA-TMP) into the photolabile TMP group. We demonstrate the application of these protecting groups in light-directed synthesis of small molecule microarrays with diversity elements radially attached to a hydroxyproline scaffold.  相似文献

A continuing objective in the area of energetic materials is to reduce sensitivity toward impact and shock. One approach is to develop a better understanding of how factors related to the crystal lattice, e.g., defects, influence the initiation and propagation of detonation. Molecular dynamics is a useful tool for this purpose. This paper presents an overview of molecular dynamics treatments of energetic solids. Some of these have simulated initiation and propagation in idealized systems; others have focused on developing a satisfactory procedure for describing molecular crystals of practical significance. Our emphasis in this discussion is on the progress that has been made along the second lines.  相似文献
