In the present study, we report a recyclable, nanocrystalline CdS thin film mediated efficient one‐pot, three component synthesis of Hantzsch 1, 4 Dihydropyridine in good yields. The catalyst is also effective for the efficient synthesis of Polyhydroquinoline and 1, 8‐dioxodecahydroacridine derivatives in good to excellent yields. The CdS thin film catalyst was prepared by chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique. The cadmium sulphide thin film was characterized by powder XRD and FT‐IR studies. The average crystallite size (D) was calculated from powder XRD by using Scherrer formula and SEM analysis. The elemental composition of the CdS thin film was established by EDS analysis. The effect of temperature, substituent's, catalyst loading and mole ratio on the reaction was also studied. All the products were thoroughly characterized by 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, FT‐IR, Mass spectral and CHN analysis. A plausible mechanism for the CdS thin film catalyzed synthesis of 1, 4 DHP's is proposed. The heterogeneous catalyst could be easily recovered from the reaction mixture and successively reused at least five times without loss of activity. 相似文献

AbstractThis study focuses on isolation of pigment producing bacteria from fresh water sediment. The isolated bacteria were grown in nutrient broth and the maximum absorbance of 2.512 was obtained for the extracted pigment at 500 nm. The effective strains were optimized, pH 11 and temperature 30 °C was found to be more favorable for its maximum growth. The isolates were identified based on their molecular characterestics as Microbacterium arborescens and Sphingomonas paucimobilis, molecular size of the amplified 16S rRNA gene sequence was found to be approximately 1270 and 765 bp respectively. The antioxidant property of the pigment was analyzed using DPPH and ABTS assay. The IC50 value of Microbacterium arborescens was higher in all the three assays in comparison with Sphingomonas paucimobilis. The extracted pigment was characterized for the presence of compounds using GC-MS and FTIR analysis to determine the functional groups. As the pigment obtained from M. arborescens had shown better antioxidant activity it may be used as colorant in food industrial applications. 相似文献

A new fluorescent chemosensor based on bithiophene coupled dimesitylborane (BMB-1) was synthesized and characterized. BMB-1 was used for colorimetric and turn-on fluorescent sensing of cyanide (CN−) and fluoride (F−) ions, in the presence of other competitive anions in an aqueous (CH3CN–H2O) medium. BMB-1 showed a hypsochromic shift (blue shift) with addition of CN− and F− ions in absorption studies. The lower detection level of CN− and F− ions is 1.37 × 10−9 and 1.75 × 10−9 M, respectively. The BMB-1 binding mechanism is based on the nucleophilic addition of CN− and F− ions in the internal charge transfer transition of bithio moiety to the boranylmesitylene unit, and the color changes were observed under UV light. This result is further confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and density functional theory calculations. Also, the BMB-1 probe is found to be a good adsorbent for the removal of F− ions in real water samples using the adsorption technique. 相似文献

The domino reactions of pyridine/isoquinoline, bromoacetonitrile/ethyl bromoacetate and a series of β-nitrostyrenes in the presence of triethylamine afforded novel tri-/disubstituted indolizines and pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinolines regioselectively, presumably via substitution-dipole generation-1,3-dipolar cycloaddition-elimination and/or aromatisation sequence. In vitro screening of all the seventeen compounds synthesized against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv discloses that ethyl 2-(4-fluorophenyl)pyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinoline-3-carboxylate displays maximum potency with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 1.0 μM, being 7.6 and 4.7 times more potent than the standard first line TB drugs, ethambutol and ciprofloxacin, respectively. 相似文献

Epibatidine (EPB) (1), an alkaloid isolated from the skin of the Ecuadorian poison frog, Epipedobates tricolor has attracted attention because of its exceptionally powerful analgesic properties: several hundred times greater than those of morphine, and the fact that it acts at nicotine rather than opiate receptors. Absorption and emission spectra of 9-N,N-dimethylaniline decahydroacridinedione (DMAADD) have been studied in different solvents. The fluorescence spectra of DMAADD are found to exhibit dual emission in aprotic solvents and single emission in protic solvents. The effect of solvent polarity and viscosity on the absorption and emission spectra has also been studied. The fluorescence excitation spectra of DMAADD monitored at both the emission bands are different. The presence of two different conformation of the same molecule in the ground state has lead to two close lying excited states, local excited (LE) and charge transfer (CT), and thereby results in the dual fluorescence of the dye. A CTstate involving the N,N-dimethylaniline group and the decahy droacridinedione chromophore as donor and acceptor, respectively, has been identified as the source of the long wavelength anomalous fluorescence. The experimental studies were supported by ab initio time dependent-density functional theory (TDDFT) calculations performed at the B3LYP/6-31G* level. The molecule possesses photoinduced electron transfer (PET) quenching in the LE state, which is confirmed by the fluorescence lifetime and fluorescent intensity enhancement in the presence of transition metal ions. 相似文献
