Penetrant technique is a sensitive non-destructive testing (NDT) method for detecting and locating the presence of cracks in sample surface. Today, NDT is used in a wide range of industries including aerospace, biotechnology, defence, marine, oil–gas and energy plants. This work focuses on potential use of radiolabeled ZnS coated CdTe quantum dots (QDots) as a penetrant for liquid penetrant testing. The synthesized QDots as a precursor were tested for surface defects detection in welded joints. The experimental results show the highest activities were found in defects on the sample surface. These finding are consistent with the sample NDT inspection test report. 相似文献

The aim of this study is to examine biological behaviour of radiolabeled guanine with [Tc(CO)3]+ core in vitro and in vivo. In vitro biological behavior of 99mTc(CO)3–Gua was evaluated on Lung (A-549), Breast (MCF-7), Colonic (Caco) carcinoma cell lines and normal human bronchial epithelial
(NHBE). 99mTc(CO)3–Gua compound showed high uptake on A-549 cell line when compared to NHBE cell line. Biodistribution characteristics of 99mTc(CO)3–Gua was evaluated using New Zeland Rabbits. Scintigraphic results showed that a high level of radioactivity was observed
in the lungs and liver shortly after administration of the 99mTc(CO)3–Gua and excretion takes place via both renal and hepatobiliary route. It was concluded that 99mTc(CO)3–Gua could be used as a nucleotide radiopharmaceutical for imaging purposes. 相似文献

Environmental parameters can have large spatial and temporal variability in shelfbreak regions. The capability of sequential Bayesian filters in tracking this variation is investigated. Particle filtering (PF) is used to extract the environmental parameters and their uncertainties. The method tracks the environment with fewer particles relative to conventional geoacoustic inversion methods using successive independent inversions. As an example, data from the Shallow Water 2006 Experiment are processed. The PF approach first is used to track the source and the environment with little spatial variation just northwest of the shelfbreak. Then the strongly range-dependent shelfbreak region is analyzed and the PF results are compared to previous geoacoustic inversion studies from the region. 相似文献

The aim of this study is to determine the incorporations of PHT radiolabeled with 131I (131I-PHT) on U-87 MG, Daoy and A549 cancerous cell lines. For this, cold and radio-labeling studies were carried out. The radio-labeling yield of 131I-PHT was obtained about 95 %. Subsequently, cell culture studies were carried out and radio-labeling yields of 131I, 131I-PHT on U-87 MG, Daoy and A549 cancerous cells were investigated. Cell culture studies demonstrated that the incorporation values of 131I-PHT on the three cell lines decreased with increasing radioactivity. Consequently, 131I-PHT may be a good radiopharmaceutical for targeting radionuclide therapy of Central Nervous System Tumors. 相似文献

The objective of studying software reliability is to assist software engineers in understanding more of the probabilistic nature of software failures during the debugging stages and to construct reliability models. In this paper, we consider modeling of a multiplicative failure rate whose components are evolving stochastically over testing stages and discuss its Bayesian estimation. In doing so, we focus on the modeling of parameters such as the fault detection rate per fault and the number of faults. We discuss how the proposed model can account for “imperfect debugging” under certain conditions. We use actual inter-failure data to carry out inference on model parameters via Markov chain Monte Carlo methods and present additional insights from Bayesian analysis. 相似文献

A novel solid-state electrochemical sensor based on a newly synthesized cross-linked copper(II) doped-copolymer and carbon nanotube material was developed for the direct determination of monohydrogen phosphate ions (HPO42−). The synthesized copolymers were characterized by FTIR, XPS, TG/DTG-DTA and SEM techniques. The sensor had a Nernstian slope:-30.7±0.4 mV/decade, linear concentrations range: 1.0×10−6 - 1.0×10−1 M, detection limit: 6.5×10−7 M, response time: 4 s and life time: 17 weeks. The sensor displayed constant potentials in the pH range 7.0-9.5. The sensor was successfully used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration and the direct determination of HPO4 2− in water samples. 相似文献

Elastic nature of the viscoelastic fluids induces lateral migration of particles into a single streamline and can be used by microfluidic based flow cytometry devices. In this study, we investigated focusing efficiency of polyethylene oxide based viscoelastic solutions at varying ionic concentration to demonstrate their use in impedimetric particle characterization systems. Rheological properties of the viscoelastic fluid and particle focusing performance are not affected by ionic concentration. We investigated the viscoelastic focusing dynamics using polystyrene (PS) beads and human red blood cells (RBCs) suspended in the viscoelastic fluid. Elasto‐inertial focusing of PS beads was achieved with the combination of inertial and viscoelastic effects. RBCs were aligned along the channel centerline in parachute shape which yielded consistent impedimetric signals. We compared our impedance‐based microfluidic flow cytometry results for RBCs and PS beads by analyzing particle transit time and peak amplitude at varying viscoelastic focusing conditions obtained at different flow rates. We showed that single orientation, single train focusing of nonspherical RBCs can be achieved with polyethylene oxide based viscoelastic solution that has been shown to be a good candidate as a carrier fluid for impedance cytometry. 相似文献
