Emissive Annular Digold(I) Compounds Containing Diphosphine and Dithiolate Ligands

Molecular structures of three emissive annular digold compounds [Au₂(dmpm)(dtc)]Cl (dmpm = Me₂PCH₂PMe_2,dtc = S₂CNEt₂), 1 , [Au₂(dppm)(dtc)]PF₆, (dppm = Ph₂PCH₂PPh₂),₂,and [Au₂(dppe)(dtc)]-(PF₂) (dppe = Ph₂P(CH₂)₂PPh₂), 3, were determined. All three compounds are dimetallacycles having two gold atoms bridged by a dithiolate ligand and a diphosphine ligand, the geometry around each gold atom being almost linear. All the dimetal lacy die rings are slightly distorted from planarity with intramolecular Au-Au distances shorter than 3.0 Å. Compound 1 forms a polymeric chain through intermolecular Au-Au contacts (3.061 ? 3.135 Å). Compound 2 forms a tetramer through intermolecular Au-Au interactions (Au-Au distances ranging from 3.086 to 3.222 ). Compound 3 is monomeric. All of the compounds luminesce at 77 K in the solid state. Emissions originating from ³LMCT from dtc ligand to Au excited states are assigned. The emission maxima of 1 ? 3 are at 541,535 and 520 nm respectively and are blue shifted as the number of Au-Au interactions is decreased.     

红外光谱研究甲烷和氧与SrO-La2O3/CaO表面的相互作用

在甲烷氧化偶联（ＯＣＭ）反应条件下，用原位红外光谱研究ＳｒＯ－Ｌａ２Ｏ３／ＣａＯ催化剂，结果表明，晶格氧使甲深度氧化，Ｌａ２Ｏ３和ＣａＯ具有活泼的晶格氧，ＳｒＯ的晶格氧比较稳定，气相氧通过催化剂表面消耗掉的晶格氧，加速甲烷了深度氧化，另一方面，催化剂表面的碳酸根物种在氧气氛下分解，在Ｌａ２Ｏ３和ＬＣ催化剂中，催化剂表面Ｌａ２Ｏ２（ＣＯ３）的分解形成配位不饱和的晶格氧Ｏ＾２－，并为气相氧吸附提供氧空

Study on the Phase Diagram of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O System and the Properties of the Compounds

The equilibrium solubility of CsCl-CeCl3-HCl(11%)-H2O qua-ternary system at 25℃ has been determined by the physicchemical analysis method ,and the phase diagram was plotted, Two new double salts 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O obtained from the complicated system were identified and characterized by XRD,TG-DTA ,DSC,UV and fluorescence spectroscopy, Studies on the fluorescence excitation and emission show that 3CsCl.CeCl3.3H2O and CsCl.CeCl3.4H2O have upconversion luminescence of infrared-visible range,and the upconversion emission intensity increases with the increase of ratio of CeCl3 in CsCl.     

Reactions in a Mixture of CH4 and CO2 under the Aciton of Microwave Discharge at Atmospheric Pressure

Reactions between CH4 and CO2 under the action of continuous microwave discharge at atmospheric pressure were studied in a special homemade reactor,The main products were CO and H2,while acetylene and ethylene were also found in the products.Experimental results show that conversions of CH4 and CO2 could be higher than 90% without the presence of any catalyst,Effects of CO2/CH4 molar ratio and total flow rate of the feed gas on the reaction were also investigated.     

Aquachlorobis(4,4′,4′′‐tri‐tert‐butyl‐2,2′;6′,2′′‐terpyridine‐κ3N)terbium(III) diperchlorate ethanol disolvate

In the title compound, [TbCl(C₂₇H₃₅N₃)₂(H₂O)](ClO₄)₂·2C₂H₆O, the Tb^III ion has a coordination number of eight, composed of two tridentate substituted‐ter­pyridine ligands, a water mol­ecule and a bound Cl^? anion. The first coordination shell can be described as a distorted bicapped trigonal prism. The dihedral angles between pyridine rings belonging to the same tpy ligand range from 5.2 (5) to 16.8 (5)°.     

Structural basis for discriminative regulation of gene expression by adenine- and guanine-sensing mRNAs

Metabolite-sensing mRNAs, or "riboswitches," specifically interact with small ligands and direct expression of the genes involved in their metabolism. Riboswitches contain sensing "aptamer" modules, capable of ligand-induced structural changes, and downstream regions, harboring expression-controlling elements. We report the crystal structures of the add A-riboswitch and xpt G-riboswitch aptamer modules that distinguish between bound adenine and guanine with exquisite specificity and modulate expression of two different sets of genes. The riboswitches form tuning fork-like architectures, in which the prongs are held in parallel through hairpin loop interactions, and the internal bubble zippers up to form the purine binding pocket. The bound purines are held by hydrogen bonding interactions involving conserved nucleotides along their entire periphery. Recognition specificity is associated with Watson-Crick pairing of the encapsulated adenine and guanine ligands with uridine and cytosine, respectively.     

Molecular variations in Th1-specific cell surface gene Tim-3

The family of T-cell immunoglobulin domain and mucin domain (TIM) proteins is identified to be expressed on T cells. A member of Tim family, Tim-3 (T cell immunoglobulin mucin 3) is selectively expressed on the surface of differentiated Th1 cells. Tim-3 might have an important role in the induction of autoimmune diseases by regulating macrophage activation and interacts with Tim-3 ligand to regulate Th1 responses. To determine the variation sites in the coding and promoter region of human Tim-3 gene, we performed variation scanning by direct sequencing using the genomic DNA isolated from the patients with asthma or allergic rhinitis and healthy controls without asthma and allergic rhinitis. We identified four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) including one novel SNPs (-1541C>T) and two variation sites (-1292_-1289delTAAA and -1282_-1278dupTAAAA) in the coding and promoter region of human Tim-3 gene in both the patients and healthy groups.     

Cytotoxic Constituents from the Stem Bark of Zanthoxylum Pistaciiflorum

Two new esters, methyl 4‐(prenyloxy)dihydrocinnamate and methyl 4‐(geranyloxy)dihydrocinnamate, together with fourteen known compounds have been isolated from the stem bark of Zanthoxylum pistaciiflorum. The structures of two new compounds were determined through spectral analyses. Among the isolates, four compounds exhibited effective cytotoxicities against P‐388 and HT‐29 cell lines in vitro.     

Synthesis of 6,13-Dihydroxyimino-5,12-Dimethyl- 7,14-Dioxo-1,4,8,11-Tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-Diene

6,13-Dihydroxyimino-5,12-dimethyl-7,14-dioxo-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene 2 was prepared by condensation of ethyl α-oximinoacetoacetate with ethylenediamine in tetrahydrofuran at room temperature. Reduction of 2 gave the corresponding 6,13-dihydroxyimino-5,12-dimethyl-7,14-dioxo-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane 3 . Acylation of 2 afforded 6,13-bis(O-acetoxyimino)-5,12-dimethyl-7,14-dioxo-1,4,8,1 l-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene 4 . The structures of 2 , 3 and 4 were determined by IR, NMR and mass spectroscopy.
