The effect of the Reynolds number in a supersonic isothermal channel flow is studied using a direct numerical simulation (DNS). The bulk Mach number based on the wall temperature is 1.5, and the bulk Reynolds number is increased up to Reτ ≈︁ 1000. The use of van Driest velocity transformation in the presence of heated walls has been questioned due to the poor accuracy at low Reynolds number. For this reason alternative transformations of the velocity profile and turbulence statistics have been proposed, as, for instance, semi-local scalings. We show that the van Driest transformation recovers its accuracy as the Reynolds number is increased. The Reynolds stresses collapse on the incompressible ones, when properly scaled with density, and very good agreement with the incompressible stresses is found in the outer layer. In this work, the isolation step in the linear ion trap was performed using different “q values” conditions at a low collision-induced dissociation (CID) energy leading to the parent ion resolution improvements, reasonably due to better ion energy distribution. According to the results, we obtained a greater resolution and mass accuracy operating in both traditional electrospray and low voltage ionization near the q value = 0.778 and with a CID energy of 10%. This effect was evaluated with low-molecular-mass compounds (skatole and arginine). The proposed optimization yielded a superior instrument performance without adding technological complexity to mass spectrometry analyses. 相似文献

The recent developments in the application of single-crystalline (SC) cathode materials in solid-state batteries are discussed in this mini-review. The characteristics of SC and poly-crystalline (PC) cathode materials are explored, with emphasis on the kinetic and mechanical properties. The critical factors influencing their performance in liquid electrolyte and solid-state battery cells are investigated. This work evaluated the efficacy of pomegranate byproducts, specifically peel powder, as valid preservatives for food quality. Ready-to-cook cod sticks breaded with pomegranate peel powder were prepared. Shelf-life tests were conducted on breaded cod sticks during refrigerated storage (17 days) at 4 °C, monitoring the pH, microbiological and sensory quality. In addition, the nutritional quality of both the breaded and control samples was assessed. The results highlighted that active samples showed higher phenol and flavonoid content and higher antioxidant activity compared to the control fish, suggesting that pomegranate peel powder was responsible for a significant increase in cod stick nutritional quality. Furthermore, the cod stick active breading led to a delay in microbial growth without affecting the sensory properties; rather, it helped slow down the sensory attribute decline during the refrigerated storage. The data suggest that using pomegranate byproducts in breaded cod stick was effective in prolonging its shelf life, as well as improving its nutritional quality. Mixed fermentation using Starmerella bacillaris and Saccharomyces cerevisiae has gained attention in recent years due to their ability to modulate the qualitative parameters of enological interest, such as the color intensity and stability of wine. In this study, three of the most important red Apulian varieties were fermented through two pure inoculations of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains or the sequential inoculation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae after 48 h from Starmerella bacillaris. The evolution of anthocyanin profiles and chromatic characteristics were determined in the produced wines at draining off and after 18 months of bottle aging in order to assess the impact of the different fermentation protocols on the potential color stabilization and shelf-life. The chemical composition analysis showed titratable acidity and ethanol content exhibiting marked differences among wines after fermentation and aging. The 48 h inoculation delay produced wines with higher values of color intensity and color stability. This was ascribed to the increased presence of compounds, such as stable A-type vitisins and reddish/violet ethylidene-bridge flavonol-anthocyanin adducts, in the mixed fermentation. Our results proved that the sequential fermentation of Starmerella bacillaris and Saccharomyces cerevisiae could enhance the chromatic profile as well as the stability of the red wines, thus improving their organoleptic quality. 相似文献

Measurable spectra are often derived from contractions of many-body Green's functions. One calculates hence more information than needed. Here we present and illustrate an in principle exact approach to construct effective potentials and kernels for the direct calculation of electronic spectra. In particular, a dynamical but local and real potential yields the spectral function needed to describe photoemission. Zinc-rich/copper-poor Cu2-xZn1+xSnS4 (x = 0.2, CZTS) has been successfully produced in film and powder form using two non-aqueous solutions (of metal salts and thiourea) without the need for sulfurization during the annealing phase. A reaction route is proposed and the choices of the solvents (water, ethyleneglycol, ethanol, methanol) and of the tin source (tin chloride pentahydrate or anhydrous) discussed and justified. A pure and coarse-grained material is obtained with a mix of metal salts in methanol and thiourea in ethylene glycol. Thin films of barium fluorides with different thicknesses were deposited on GaAs substrate by electron beam evaporation. The aim of the work was to identify the best growth conditions for the production of coatings with a low work function suitable for the anode of hybrid thermionic-photovoltaic (TIPV) devices. The chemical composition and work function φ of the films with different thicknesses were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS). The lowest value of φ = 2.1 eV was obtained for the film with a thickness of ~2 nm. In the valence band spectra of the films at low kinetic energy, near the cutoff, a characteristic peak of negative electron affinity was present. This effect contributed to a further reduction of the film's work function. 相似文献
